Food is good. Service sucks. Waiters more concerned with talking and not serving Too bad

My first visit here was on a Sunday evening with a group of four others. Inside seemed nice and new, but the music and crowd was very loud, and occasionally quite obnoxious. We were told to seat ourselves and a waitress came over a couple minutes later. The waitresses were very friendly, but we found it hard to flag one down to get our check. Our group took a while to decide what to order, but when we finally did it took at least 40 minutes to get three burgers, a hot dog and a club sandwich. We didn't order any appetizers and our beverages were pretty simple. The burgers came out first, the hot dog a couple minutes later and the club sandwich several minutes after that. The fries on the first four orders were lukewarm, like they had been sitting for a while. The club sandwich, being the last order to come out, had fresh, hot fries. Disappointed that food came out at very different times, especially since it seemed like a slow business night. Despite the long wait time for food and intermittent service, the food was pretty good. I probably won't spend my money here again unless a someone insists on eating here. read more

Summer special. Lobster Roll!! So yummy and lots of lobster! The clams were also very fresh and tasty! I would definitely recommend this place as I've never had a bad meal here. The hangover cure is a great burger and the tots are super delicious just make sure to add the bacon and cheese!! read more

Pub 67 - New American Near Me - Seymour, Connecticut

We love this spot! Great beer selection. I'm obsessed with their grilled cheeses. Everything we have had is pretty good and memorable. I'm from Chicago and most restaurants I've been to in CT are mostly forgettable. They have many staples and I love the twists they add to some of their items. Before covid they had live music. Not sure if they still do but we love it even more when live music is playing. Bartenders are good too! read more

Mixed review... been coming here for years because the food is great (wings and burgers are best around) and the beer selection is also one of the best around (several micro brews on tap). However service is often poor time and time again. Servers neglect the tables. Wings come out the same time as the burgers. Waitress doesn't follow though and check on us. We would have ordered another round of beer but she never came over. Bartenders are too chatty with their friends or co-workers and don't focus on customers. I blame this on poor ownership/management as I never see an owner or manager present to help out or keep and eye on things. Again, good food but terrible service. read more

Used to be great place for food and drinks. Unfortunately, our last 2 visits, service was poor. Last time, no seats at the bar, so we had to take the only table, which was between the bar and the patio. Servers walked back and forth by us, until one finally came over to take drink order, then forgot them. We waited and waited, until another one finally came over and got them. Then we waited forever for our food order. Meanwhile, the cook walked right by us without a mask covering. Had to flag server down for a 2nd drink. Asked why 8 people, not wearing masks, could congregate at one end of the bar, when we couldn't sit elsewhere, and was told "They're our regulars, so they can do whatever they want." I find this place to be irritating. I like the atmosphere but not worth the food. It's the valley and they are charging New York prices for their food. It just isn't worth it. The end product of the food is subpar. I have tried all different kinds of food here and I'm not thrilled. It's just barely ok. I just cannot justify spending that much money for bar food. The valley has lots of competition and you really need to do something to set yourself above the competition. I don't see it here. I do enjoy the many beers they have, huge selection. Clean inside , parking is good. They just aren't putting out the product to match the price. I only go if we are having a family function together. read more

Terrible service. We've been coming to this restaurant since it opened a few years ago and never would have expected service such as this. We were hoping to try one of their bourbon flights and grab lunch with one of our children. When we asked if there was a high chair, bartender simply said, "they're using it" and awkwardly motioned to the only other people in the restaurant. Knowing that there is only one high chair means that we can't even eat there as a family with all of our children. It's really a shame because the food is good and the beer selection is decent. Food price / quality ratio 8.5. Atmosphere is Neo-industrial, designed simply and well. We both had the lobster roll. Six ounces of lobster (a generous portion) for less than most restaurants. Decent draught selection, service was well above average, and the choices and options were flexible and readily offered (unusual). Local crowd, happy hour specials, and good alternative menu options . Highly recommended for casual dining. read more

Food and service are always spot on. However, I have picked up takeout multiple times over the last few months and more often than not the place is absolutely packed. There is no chance capacity limits are being enforced when every table in the place is full (and they have the same number of tables as pre Covid) and the entire bar is packed with customers. There is also no real pick up area so when the bar area is packed in you have to squeeze between mask-less customers giving you less than 6 feet of distancing (you're lucky if it's 1 foot). read more

I have been here a few times now and always seem to have plenty of people in there. Service is decent and usually always enjoy the wings and burgers. They have a little outdoor patio which is nice for those days you want to enjoy outdoors. Parking can sometimes be tough depending on the day and time. read more

Second time being here and second time my order has been completely wrong. I ordered the sirloin tips with fries and another person in my party ordered a Caesar salad and burger. I received steak on top of my Caesar salad and he just got a burger. Very disappointing. The service is also extremely slow. I feel if you are not a regular the bartenders ignore you. I've been to this place about 15 times now since I moved back. The food is top notch! I really really enjoy "The Hangover Cure" with their tots! The drinks are very well made and the servers are very attentive. The prices are fair and there isn't anything on the menu that I didn't really like. The beer specials are a great way to try something new and I recommend checking it out! I tried to think of things that I would consider to be negative about this place and simply couldn't think of anything. So kudos to Pub 67, here's 5 stars! read more

What a great find! Had wings and a salad all of which were fantastic. Ask for extra sauce on the side for wings. Tried the hot buffalo and Cajun garlic butter...yum! Blue cheese and ranch dressings were homemade. Clean and COVID friendly distancing. Couldn't have asked for better customer service. Pub 67 is my go-to bar in the area. Large selection of craft beers, great burgers, crispy tator tots, fresh salads, and friendly service. Outside seating during the warmer months and live bands on weekends. You can see what they have on draft using "beer menus" app and can view the menu on their website. A nice establishment for after work happy hours, large groups, or if you and your significant other need a night out of food and drinks. Casual atmosphere with rustic decor. read more

I come here often (twice a week). Unreal service. Unreal draft menu. Food, 7/10. Atmosphere throws me off, big country vibe. BUT today I came in and ordered a vodka tonic with two limes and Sheri made me the greatest drink I've ever had. She's always been friendly and very welcoming. Strongly recommend this place. I have been going to Pub 67 since they opened. Great staff and food, always meeting new friends that become like family here. Great place for casual group gatherings, burgers and wings are very good, and the salads are huge! All well priced for the portions and quality. Always a great time when there's liven music and you're looking for a fun night out. read more

oh boy this makes me so sad. My husband, family and friends usually go to the Pub at least once a week and have been so disappointed the last few times. It used to be our go-to spot in the valley but I think we are going to be looking for a new one. On Wednesday night we walked in for dinner around 6:30, the place was pretty busy for a Wednesday and we noticed there were only three servers on. We found an empty booth and were greeted quickly by a super nice server but that's where the service ended. As in our past few visits we were able to quickly order drinks and then were left to look at the menu for almost 30 minutes. When we did finally get a chance to order we attempted to order food for people that were joining us in approximately 40 minutes and that didn't translate at all when all the food arrived together. Not only did all the food arrive at the same time (when we clearly stated that guests wouldn't be coming for approx 40 minutes) but one of the orders was forgotten. Food was dropped on the table but we had no silverware, I actually went over and stood at the bar until they were able to give me some forks. I felt bad because the servers were clearly overwhelmed and working hard but it is just so disappointing - management needs to hire some more people. It's not fair to the people working and the customers will walk. Just as we had to get our own silverware from the bar we had to do the same for our check. read more

This review is solely based on the service that I and three friends received upon arriving here. We came in around 6 o'clock, it was not particularly busy and we were told to seat ourselves. We waited 25 minutes until a waitress even came over to us. We had noticed on Yelp that they offered a free beer or wine with your meal there if you're a first time check in. We showed our waitress the offer and she went behind the bar to ask the owner how to redeem them. The owner apparently told her to tell us that they "don't work". Don't advertise things on Yelp if you're not going to honor them. The truth is they simply did not want to take it off. They could have easily made over $100 from all four of us but we simply walked out because we got a good enough glimpse at how they choose to run their business. read more

The food is very good and the prices are very reasonable. Its one of the best places to eat in the area and even though it doesn't look like it from the outside, not a bad place to bring kids for lunch. The biggest drawback is the live music. It's soooo loud you can't hear someone speak who's sitting across the table. Went there on a Friday at 6 so we could avoid the band playing but they already had a solo musician singing. He was actually pretty good but everyone had to shout to be heard. If they could just turn down the amp a little it would be much more enjoyable place to visit. read more

Zero stars for customer service being that my Niece was treated badly for reason being, the folks that she encountered were less than human. She asked if her service dog could wait on the patio while she ordered a to go meal. I have been here twice in last 3 weeks. Even though they tout tap beer selection, in each visit, selection requested "kicked" with no replacement available. This last visit they have some screaming two piece attempt at entertainment. In addition, after over hour long wait for a salad order, decided to cancel, as bartender explained at first kitchen was not getting ticket orders, then because of a large take out order. Been to the place a bunch before the renovations, had a great time besides the very loud DJ. Went there after renovations and seating was greatly improved and so was beer selection, but unfortunately the mixed drinks seemed to go up a little. Assuming it's to cover the costs of renovation, may have been the night though. Bartenders were amazing though. read more

Since the remodel, the space has really opened up. With over twice the space, the pub has added additional seating and wood paneling to the walls. Bar has been expanded for lots more drinking room. Giving four stars because I haven't eaten here yet, but drinking and hanging with friends has been fun. Definitely worth a stop and a drink! Pool table, darts, and juke box still here. Pub has decent lighting, not a dive bar but not uncomfortably light either. Comfortable place to hang with old friends and meet new people! read more
