Food here is 10/10! Highly recommend. My favorite is the millionaires BLT, the bacon is to die for. They also have a great happy hour! Service is always great and a nice, chill bar vibe. But they also have a dining room side too. They recently expanded their indoor seating space and their exterior patio space so we also get in quickly. read more

Pub 42 is a great neighborhood spot in New Hope, and has something on the menu for everyone. They have a quieter seating area, large bar, and and even larger patio space with big tables that can accomodate large parties. I ordered the fish tacos and they were pretty good! The shrimp were breaded and flavorful, and the slaw and sauce offset the gentle spice. After comparing the other dishes at our table and around the patio, I recommend ordering classic American fare like their burgers and sandwiches over their tacos or asian dishes. The burgers seemed above average while the tacos and noodles bowls didn't quite hit the mark! read more

Let me start by saying I never write negative reviews. I love to write great reviews so patrons can help the restaurant flourish. That being said, my husband and I have been to Pub 42 hundreds of times (since it was Sunshine Factory back in the day). It's been one of our favs in terms of friendliness, good food and cold beer). Although we missed Wags after the ownership change we were excited to give the new owners a new start. We have been here about 8 times since with varying results. Bar service is always quick and friendly but the food quality has decreased. The visit this last Sunday (6/18/24) cemented the decision that we will NEVER return. We enjoyed draft beers and then ordered burgers. You used to be to able to count on the burgers here! They were delicious. This time... not only was the burger (and subsequent re-try) inedible, along with the cold fries both times, the manager could have cared less. Our sweet server told us many people had sent back food that day. So perhaps it was a bad day for the kitchen? Wish the manager could have taken feedback about the decrease in food quality instead of arguing that the food quality and recipes had remained the same. We used to buy to go containers of the bleu cheese dressing for friends and now you can't find a piece of bleu cheese in the dressing. Buns are stale and the burgers are tiny and the meat is definitely lower quality. One bite was all it took. read more

I had a party of 12 for a get together with friends, and this place was wonderful! They put us in a semi-private space and we got super great service. Those deviled eggs are spectacular and everyone was happy with their meals. I wish we took photos of the food, but we were so happy to see each other, the only photos we took were of our group. My bad! I do want to tell you how great our service was though. We all ordered something different, and a few folks showed up a little late. Our server was so great! She kept us in drinks, brought the appetizers quickly, kept coming back to check on us and on whomever just arrived, and even split our checks up how we wanted to pay. Disappointed first experience. Our order was missing the seasoned sour creams which was an extra cost and the burger was basically raw ground beef. Serious health risk for food poisoning.... but the curds and BLT were good and safe to eat. LOL Just like the other reviewer called Pub 42 and got a lack of concern with getting a raw burger. Bryce just said, "ok you'll have to call Door Dash to refund the missing items and burger." Fortunately Door Dash was able to refund the burger and seasoned sour creams right away. Pub 42 has quickly become one of our go-to spots! They have great happy hour deals & a menu full of meals we're excited to try. My favorite so far is the Millionaires BLT. The patio has great vibes on a sunny afternoon, and it still feels private even though it's right off a fairly busy road. Service can be on the slower side when the restaurant is super busy, but that's to be expected of any place. We've always had friendly service even when it's slower though! When the hostess asks if you'd like to sit in the bar side or dining room, we'd recommend the bar side! Dining room is nice, but the bar has a fun atmosphere. read more

Went here Easter weekend with our son and really enjoyed the stop. It was very busy, so we at first didn't think we had time to stay - but they ended up finding us a table to eat at the bar. The tap beer, drink and food selections were good and the place was very lively - with some great country music playing in the background. We started with an order of popovers since we hadn't had any for a while and absolutely loved the butter that came with them. We ended up all ordering the Fish Special for Friday after hearing that it was walleye (see picture) and all really liked the meal. It's not bad but it's not good either. We've done take out and dine in, yet to be impressed by anything on their menu. Some absolutely awful items include the salads and onion rings, stay clear. Burger is fine but proportions are weird. Flatbread was ok. Ribs were dry and the wings were soggy. French fries are fine. read more

Have been here a handful of times and every time it is great! Love the warmer months when the patio is open but the winter is still great for a place to watch games! Pub 42 This was my second time to have lunch here. The food is supposed to be good here. I ordered the Old Fashioned Pub burger. Medium. With fries. Fries were ok. Not great not bad. Standard. Burger was picture perfect. Stacked nicely, bun was very good, close to being one of the best. Beef as perfectly cooked to medium. But here I come... the beef patty was tasteless. No salt, pepper or ANY seasoning. It was like chewing wet paper towel... ZERO flavor. What a shame. Next time I will order the same but I will ask to have it seasoned. It could have beef a great burger but it was NOT. Since I did not like it and paid for it, it's 1 star. read more

This is a great place to meet friends for a bite and some drinks. I recently visited and had a great time. I got the Foghorn Leghorn Crispy Chicken Sandwhich which was on the speiclas menu. You can get this as a single or double breasted sanwhich, that is coated with their chicken tender batter & fried. They top it with American cheese, bacon, shredded lettuce & mayo. I went single breast. You also get your choice of side with this tasty Sandwhich! It was so crispy and golden! I really enjoyed how juicy this sandwhich was as well. This place can be jam packed and the service is sometimes great and sometimes not so great! The space is cool and they have ample parking. read more

It's alrighty. It's a nice local spot with decent food, pull tabs, and there was even live music. I had a strawberry margarita. It was overly sweet, and rimmed with sugar. The popovers came out a bit late, so I think they had gotten a little cold. The sweet honey butter they came with was their redeeming quality. As an entree I had the prime rib sandwich. We have recently moved to Plymouth and have been to Pub 42 a few times now. I have to admit that this is one of my favorite restaurants! The wait staff is friendly and perfectly attentive, the drinks are tasty, and the food is always delicious! Appetizers and entrees offer huge portions - we always go home with a doggie bag. it may have been an odd evening, but we tried ordering three different things all of which they were currently out of. We ended up starting with some popovers to share. The popovers themselves were super good and baked to perfection! However, the butter was a little disappointing. I ordered the Caesar salad and it was perfection! A hearty size with the perfect amount of cheese, dressing, and croutons. I'd definitely order that again. Our server was really friendly and kept apologizing that they were out of certain menu items. Oh my, when you have a bad experience at one restaurant and just want to have a meal to get over it, Pub 42 is the way to go! The atmosphere was great, the food is just outstanding and you cannot have either of them without the amazing staff, William the host recommended the Korean Mando, who doesn't love dumplings dam flavorful, Jenny the coolest server had the best recommendations to offer, which of course I went with 2/10ounce pork chop meal, and yes I couldn't finish such a great meal . Update: Brian's response to my initial review was very kind and so I am upping the Stars rating. We will definitely try pub 42 again. Brian, thank you for taking the time to respond. It means a lot. They no longer have really good things on the menu like the wonderful chicken and waffles with the Chipotle cherry sauce (I was told the waffle iron had broken) or the butternut squash with sage ravioli. Same old tired menu options. We were there today and one of my friends ordered the grilled cheese ribeye. She said it was just meh. Came with coleslaw, she tasted one bite of the coleslaw and said it was horrible, asked the waitress to bring her something else. They brought her a fruit cup instead and when the bill came they had charged her for it. The waitress (who by the way was wonderful) explained that the restaurant policy was that because a bite had been then she had to pay for the replacement. This is completely ridiculous. She said the coleslaw tasted disgusting and they charged her $2 for the fruit cup. Also, when we first got there we had made our reservations a month in advance and had specifically asked for a particular table. When we got there they told us we couldn't have that table because there were only six of us and so they put two tables together and put us in a different area. The table that we originally wanted sat empty until about 10 minutes before we left. The best thing about our visit was that the waitress was really awesome. I know she felt bad about the fruit cup but she didn't really have any way to fix that if that was not her fault. I am not sure if our small group will ever try Pub 42 again. They don't seem very customer oriented. When they first opened everything was great. Not so much a few years later. read more

Pub 42 was a great experience for me and my bride. We stopped here for a dinner on a Friday night before heading to a show down the road. It was busy as there was a local radio station broadcasting from the bar, but one of the nice features of Pub 42 is that they have both bar seating and dining seating. The dining side is a bit quieter, but you can still hear the bustle of whatever is going on at the bar. Not a big deal, though, as my bride and I were able to have a nice conversation. The decor is nice and sleek on the dining side and typical bar decor on the bar side. Our waitress was fantastic - nice, helpful, and accommodating. Though I am usually disappointed with recommendations from the wait staff, this waitress made some great recommendations. If you are looking for a great appetizer, consider ordering the Poke. Is it absolutely fresh? Well, does tuna swim in the shallow lakes of southern Minnesota? No. But the tuna was delicious regardless. The flavors of the Poke were fabulous with a great ginger-soy sauce along with a cucumber relish on the side served with delicious chips and an addictive wasabi cream dipping sauce. The French Onion Gratinee was excellent. I should have stopped there as the Poke and Gratinee were hearty servings. I had the Millonaires Bacon Burger and my bride had the Cubano which were both good and tasty. The burger was served as I ordered it - medium rare (which let's be honest, that's the only way to order a burger!) and it was delicious. The fries that came with the burger were great as well. Good grief! So many words and I haven't even mentioned the drink list. Great selection of beers and drinks as well. Give the place a try! I'd recommend calling in a reservation if it's a prime outing night and time. read more
