He gave me a worst case scenario and how much he thought it would cost to fix it (in which case, he said, he didn't think it would be worth fixing), but he also gave me several other possibilities, some of which I could do myself. This was all the more helpful since they're pretty busy at the moment and wouldn't be able to come to the house until next week (unless it was an emergency). Really impressive service. I still need a few things done to prep my unit for sale, but due to the lack of response - NOT the quality of work - I'll have to cross them off my list of preferred contractors. :( They ended up providing a quote at long last, probably only because they saw this review. In my opinion, the quote was kind of a "we don't want to do this work but we'll do it for this price" deal. There's an impolite word for quotes like these. They then asked me to change my review. Owning up to all the possible things that could go wrong when repairing other people's things is counting the cost of having and running an honest business. Update: I did hear back from Terry and we are still negotiating how to settle this between us. Unfortunately the original fix to the refrigerator is not fixed. He offered to refund me what I paid. This is doing the right thing and a step in the right direction to share my deductible expenses. An update on the kitchen fix too. Phase 1 water mitigation was $5,000. Phase 2 repairs to the kitchen is $18,000. 5/22 Update: I haven't gotten the $375 back from the fix that didn't work for my repair. Terry told me 8 days ago he would refund me but I still don't have my money back. I really wish all this could've been worked out between us and my comments here would've reflected a better experience. After research and the simple facts of exactly what happened there is overwhelming evidence of his liability and how this will end up. It's unfortunate because a lot of this could've been avoided.

First visit, diagnosed as thermostat issue, second visit to install thermostats decided it was the compressor, after waiting over a week for compressor to come in, third visit they decided to bring " head technician who knows more about this stuff" out and they decided it was low on coolant.
