Back in March, my wife and I were looking to buy me a car, and she spent a lot of time looking around and doing her research before deciding to go to Select EuroCars. We had watched the inventory videos on their website, and were impressed by the selection and fair pricing of Joel's stock. His website is truly incredible! So much information on the vehicles, plenty of photographs, detailed walkarounds on video, and so easy to navigate and filter. I've never seen a used car dealer with a website so well put together! Additionally, after reading about Joel's story and technical experience, my wife knew she had found the right place to do business. We drove the hour from our home to Waterloo, just to do business with Mr. Osserman and his team, specifically. We were not at all disappointed! We had called in advance about the VW Tiguan we were interested in test driving; when we arrived, Joel took us out for a spin. When we knew this was the one for us, Joel worked tirelessly with my wife and I to find the right financing fit for us. He went above and beyond to make sure we left satisfied, and never once made us feel anything less than a valued customer. We left that day feeling very good about our purchase, and looking forward to doing business with Select Euro Cars in the future.  Fast forward to August: we've been really enjoying our time in our VW! It's been the perfect fit for our lifestyle; but, more importantly, we felt comfortable and safe with our decision. Then, one day, as we were heading into town for lunch, we heard an unusual noise coming from under the hood and panicked! Without thinking clearly, we made a rash decision to take the VW to the nearest open repair shop. What a mistake that was! The shop we took it to (who shall remain nameless -- nationwide chain) had no idea what they were doing with our dear VW. After two weeks of headaches and turmoil, and an expensive diagnostic fee, and a reported thousands of dollars in potentially necessary repairs, we were quite fed up. Then it dawned on us-- JOEL! Why, OH WHY, did we not think of taking it in to Select Euro Cars in the first place?!  We had AAA tow our vehicle from the chain repair shop all the way to Waterloo to have the team at Select Euro Cars take a look at it. The very next day, we received a phone call from Dan: "The car is done, ready for you to pick it up." We were in disbelief. Almost too good to be true, we drove down to pick up the car, and were over-the-moon excited to find out that the vehicle had been repaired in less than an hour and for next to nothing! (Very important side note: we had purchased the warranty option when we originally purchased the VW, and it covered the entire cost of the repair for us, including labor, and waived our deductible so we paid absolutely nothing out of pocket-- SO WORTH IT if you buy from these guys.) It turns out, the real problem was completely different from what the first shop said it was; they would have done all of the expensive, unnecessary repairs on our VW, just to find out that the problem was still not fixed. Instead, the guys at Select Euro Cars, who specialize in VWs and Audi, knew exactly what the issue was and fixed it right away.  We are beyond impressed by their knowledge and expertise with these cars. The team at Select Euro Cars is FANTASTIC, and I can't thank them enough. I solemnly swear that I will never take my vehicle to anyone else, for as long as I live.  We'll be in the market for another vehicle soon, and we can't wait to do business with these wonderful people all over again!

When we got our new car home, we found an issue. Not only did the service department immediately remedy our problem, our sales representative, Michael, was attentive and maintained constant communication. This is a truly reputable car dealership and we highly recommend them! What a great experience! Buying a used car can be scary and stressful, but Michael and the team at Geneva Foreign & Sports are the solution! Michael took the time to find out what we needed and made good recommendations. We are delighted with our new car and got a great deal! We are super picky car buyers and will definitely be coming back to Geneva!

The selection is vast and Michael was easy to work with. Here is my summary of experience and maybe I just have high expectations when it comes to purchasing vehicles. Will we buy cars from here in the future? Perhaps. If so, I'll set my expectations a bit lower than I had for this trip. Pros: Michael's staff are super friendly. Vast inventory Easy test drive process - was able to drive several and narrow it down. Warranty sale was a smooth process or would have gone 3rd party Sales process/closing was smooth Cons: I expected the car to be cleaned after purchasing. Instead there is gross hair all over and there was this goo on the trunk mat that my husband had to wash out with a hose. Half a tank of gas at pick up. I get margins are tight but I have car buying experience and have NEVER picked up a car with less than a full tank at delivery. Had to wait 15 minutes beyond our appointment time because Michael didn't have the paperwork ready. I'd normally be patient but I was going back and forth with him the prior Thursday on a busy day for me as he said he was getting everything ready to go to Saturday that day. Constant text and emails for a 5 star (Google) review. One thing to ask but please deliver a 5 Star Experience if you're pushing for those 5 stars.

I've only used their auto repair services before, so my review only reflects upon that. Cost: Very very fair. I never ever feel like I'm being charged extra for either parts or labor. I don't know what kind of parts are used to repair cars here, but I don't ever feel like I'm getting shoddy quality parts either. In fact, and I'm not saying they do this all the time, I've went to get my fluids checked before and they've done it for free AND topped off a couple of them free of charge. How many places do that? Experience: I have nothing negative to say about Dave's. Dave and his son (and the other employee's I've encountered) are absolutely fantastic. They've been really friendly and informative the entire time to by myself and my fiancee. I've learned quite a bit about my car and as mentioned above, never feel like I've gotten ripped off. I do all my oil changes here and repairs (I've had a couple exhaust repairs and a couple wheel repairs) and am always quoted with costs consistent with low prices on car forums online. Overall: If you're in Geneva, NY and need auto repair done, go to Dave's. Don't mess around with Monroe or other chains that always find more things they want you to pay to repair. Dave's will let you know how your car looks and tell you what they think about your car and if anything does look on the verge of failing they'll let you decide if you want to do it now, down the road, somewhere else, or at not all. I don't feel overcharged which is one issue with many garages. They get the work done in a reasonable amount of time. The only issue I've had is there are no appointments, so you just drop your car off the night before or in the morning and they call you when it is done. This could be inconvenient if you work outside of the area. Dave, the owner is a nice guy and seems to remember you after a few visits and remembers your car. The garage also does used car sales, and rents U-Hauls. I would definitely recommend this garage to anyone in the area that needs work done on their vehicle.

I needed my tire changed after a minor accident on the NYS Thruway. We called the State Police --…read morethe officers said that our tire was flat and called Hart Towing to come change the tire. When the tow truck got there, the driver said that he couldn't change the tire because the spare was soft -- I felt the spare and it was not soft. He said he would have to tow us. We were westbound on the thruway just east of the Geneva exit. The driver said that he couldn't take us to a repair shop that was just off the thruway in Geneva. He had me drive my car onto his tow truck and my 2 sisters and I rode in my car on the tow truck to a shop that was several miles in the other direction. The workers at the shop changed the tire and told us that the spare tire was not soft. In other words, the driver could have changed the tire and we would have been on our way. Instead, he lied to us and had us ride in our car on the tow truck (which I was told later is illegal) while he did a u-turn and took us several miles in the wrong direction.
