Excellent experience with Psycho Cycle Salvage. I brought my 1998 TL1000R in for an out-of-province inspection after having trouble finding a shop that could get me in anytime soon. They fit me in within two days during the busiest part of motorcycle season. They found my headlights weren't working, which turned out to be a connector I had forgotten to plug in while reassembling the bike. Instead of charging me a full hour of labor, they only charged for the actual time it took to find and fix the problem. Honest pricing, great service, and a team that clearly cares about their customers. It's hard to find mechanics you can truly trust, but these guys have earned my business. This shop is very professional. I just had a twenty-year-old 750 cc Honda v-twin bike inspected and tuned up and fitted with new tires and a second-hand exhaust. I got an out-of-province inspection done also. This is the second bike have taken there for an out-of-province. They have a lot of experience and can save you time and money. read more

This place is in Edmonton AB. Do not know who the guys were (lol they were a little rough around the edges), but during 2020, they were very friendly were able to help me with parts for a VF750f interceptor and were reasonably priced. They were busy and I was able to get all the parts I needed. However, when i did call, they were not parts specific, but did say they had a couple of bikes that most likely had the parts I was looking for and I could come in and take a look. I had a great experience at Edmonton Cycles & Salvage. The price on the used set of carbs I bought was fair and they had plenty of parts in stock. I can't vouch for their mechanics because I didn't have any work done there. However, I found the staff to be helpful and the owner was knowledgable about parts. Unfortunately you can't browse the used parts freely in this shop. I understand why it might have to be that way because of liability issues and theft. However, in my case an opportunity to browse would have led to an additional sale. Forgot I needed a starter! read more

Great customer service. The main mechanic is brilliant with the work he does. He does all his work in a timely manner and it is quality work. I will be back again especially at the new shop. Generally speaking, I have had good luck with this place. I had a couple of motorcycles through the OOP inspection process, and they were fair and forthright about this. They are reasonable about part prices and stock availability. The previous owner had some colourful language, but he has since retired. If they know you, they will allow you to browse the used parts, so I have had no problems that way. read more

I dont know what some of thease guys are talking about i brought in the cyl head for an engine i was building 13 shims had to be replaced out of 16 for a valve adjustment and they got it perfect they didnt charge me for the shims they used " $10 a piece × 13..." as they took my old ones in trade which was awsome saving me $130 . I know how to set up / ballance carbs but im thinking of letting them fine tune them as i found out they have a dyno in shop to get them perfect even if the owner was an prick i would go back as there one of the only shops that diddnt just give me lip service but did a great job and actually gave a sh** - martin dumas martingdu@hotmail.com read more

This is one place that should just go out of business. When you call for info. the owner as like he's doing you a favor. Made the mistake of taking my bike and listen to lies about how the bike will be ready tomorrow and it never was. Listened to this twice. Went in today after 3 weeks and they said they were closed. Didn't care and made it known I ain't leaving without the bike. Then I get to here complaining about how he has to work on his day off. Don't care. Then I get to here how this is the only place in town that works on bikes this age which is BS. Worst of the bike seems worse off then when I brought her in. Now the clutch fluid reservoir leaks, she still smokes a little which I asked them to fix, steering is stiff and she idles too high which she gets close to overheating. All this for $1100. Now either gotta spend the time to see if I can fix it or find somewhere else to take it into. Here's to small claims court if necessary. Just do yourself a favor and avoid this place. A root canal is a more pleasant experience. read more

Don't bother. Very little stock, rude and unhelpful staff and an even ruder and less helpful owner. It was managed better 20 years ago. If you need parts for a 1970's basket case and some abuse to go with it, drop by. Gilles will be happy to turn you away. read more

Took my bike to another shop and after i spent 1500 they told me to scrap it. Heard about Edmonton cycle salvage through a friend. they fixed my bike for 600 and it runs better then new. low shop rate and very helpful staff. Huge inventory of used parts and fair prices. Highly recomend this shop to everyone. read more
