Absolutely terrible customer service and completely unprofessional! I called the same day of my first scheduled video call to let them know I may be a few mins late as I don't get off work until the same time as my scheduled call. She said "OK, no worries, I'll make a note of that." Then after having difficulties connecting to their telehealth system, I was a grand total of 7 mins late. The lady on the call said THE PROVIDER was no longer available and I would be charged $100 missed apt fee. I explicitly & clearly stated that I would NOT be paying that fee. I even emailed them the day before my next scheduled call to confirm that I would not be paying that fee. They waited until the call was supposed to start to try and enforce the fee. Which I refused! It's not about the money at this point, it's about the principle of the matter. As a NEW PATIENT seeking help with ADD / ADHD tendencies, this is a completely unprofessional way of handling business. I will NOT be working with them any further at this point. read more

I am happy to say my visit was fantastic. I am delighted that I didn't let the negative reviews steer me away. (I am actually confused about how there are so many now that I have actually gone.) The staff was so friendly. They came up to me right away when I walked up to the window (3x). We had positive small chit-chat. I even shared some jokes with the nurse who took my blood - which she did outstanding. No re-pricks and all done smoothly. Dr. Cadoul was absolutely amazing - including her student! · She was attentive · Let me ramble as much as I needed · Quickly got me tissues when I became emotional · She made me laugh · She asked questions to better understand what I was saying Just plain awesome. Such a great experience and I am excited to see her again in 4 weeks. I was given a new medication to start. Most of the medications I needed would affect my birth control. So, Dr. Cadoul took the time to make sure I wouldn't have to worry about that. I recently switched birth control medications and accidentally gave her the old birth control name. When I called my pharmacy about my pickup, I learned that the new medication would indeed affect my birth control. I immediately called Dr. Cadoul's office and told the receptionist of what happened and I needed to change medications out. She told me she would notify Dr. Cadoul after her current session and then call me back. Not even 30 minutes later - I received a text through their patient portal (you have to sign up before your first visit) that Dr. Cadoul already sent in the new prescription. 30 more minutes go by and I get a call from the office letting me know that: 1) the prescription was changed, 2) educated me somewhat on the new medicine, 3) told me to call my pharmacy and cancel the previous one. Wow! I won't even slack about explaining their patient portal - it is REALLY cool. It has a text messaging service to confirm prescriptions that are written out to you. Once you click the link to confirm, you can see: · a high-quality video explaining your new medication, · an estimated copay amount, · your dosage amount, · the generic name of your new medication. (Attached screenshot from my phone.) Overall - it was absolutely a great experience. Sure - they WILL charge you like crazy if you miss/ late to your appointment, don't finish your new patient paperwork, or cancel within 48 hours. I know sometimes life can throw curveballs and things happen - so that sucks if you are charged that. But, I respect their rules and can totally understand why they are in place. They are also VERY CLEAR on the phone about them. So, I don't mind at all and I don't feel like they are trying to stab people behind the back... even if it gave me a little bit of anxiety driving in - hehe. They are doing video chat appointments, i called to see if we could do a phone call instead, the response, "your appointment will not be processed through insurance and it will cost $150." Awesome therapists but hardcore anti-patient management and policies. The contempt and disdain are so obvious in every interaction with staff. They adopted a 48 hour cancellation policy and charge the full cash price for the session (not the copay) if you cancel 47 hours ahead of time. That was pretty bad but I put up with it because I love th therapist and psych staff. But now Psych Dimensions posted a policy that if you are not here at the exact appointment time, the therapist is prohibited by management from seeing you. I REALLY was looking forward to meeting with one of their doctors, specifically Dr. Jeanne Blakeslee, because of my faith. Sparkle was very annoyed sounding the whole time of scheduling. I mentioned, "Just to let you know, your music while I was holding seems very inappropriate for a mental health place.  It was the song "Crazy Train" by Ozzy.   Personally, I don't mind Ozzy. But I just thought it was VERY weird. I come from a background of having psychosis, paranoia, and delusions.....so I felt bad for anyone that might be struggling that way and have to listen to that song!!! After I said that.......Sparkle says....."I dont think this place is a good fit for you".  She got everyone on board. NO ONE will schedule me an appointment. I even had a counselor call them to help figure out what is going on! NOPE, they refused. I was devastated and every discouraged!! They said I was " difficult". I mean, really!!!!??? You're a MENTAL HEALTH ORGANIZATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Yes, I know I can be difficult....THATS WHY I NEED HELP!!!!! My goodness!! My son had an appointment a few months ago and no one was at the office. The office was locked up when we arrived, we waited 15-20 minutes and no one ever unlocked the door or showed up. I was annoyed that they didn't show up because back when Covid first came out, we were a new patient and they tried to charge me when my whole family came down with a virus on appointment day and I had to cancel my son's appt. And now, no one has returned my calls for three months and my son needs refills on his medications. How irresponsible and unprofessional can one office get?! read more

SHOULD HAVE ZERO STARS Do not go here. They will not treat you with respect. Do not see therapist Andrew Greene. He will act as if you are stupid and can't grasp the concept of him using an appointment to get paid and then fire you. Therapist ANDREW GREENE made me pay for an appointment to tell me he had already made a firm decision that I was above his level of expertise and firing me as a patient but refusing to use that wording Then, when I tried to stand up for myself at all, he threatened to call the cops for "trespassing" -- I did not raise my voice, I only advocated for myself, brought up the fact this was a very sudden firing where I would be without a therapist, that he had no recommendations, how being told he could not treat me is very painful to process. Regardless, he threateningly held up his phone. I kept getting told I was being hostile and my appointment was over because I was crying asking what I should do. All the staff there treated me like I was being absolutely insane, it was degrading. At most, I was there an extra 10 minutes. Threatening the cops on me began as soon as it ended. I know what level of respect I deserve. I was treated how I was because I dared to question him saying he was unable to provide what I was asking for, which was therapy. He is a trauma specialist and it is ridiculous to me he could knowingly treat someone this way & it came off like their entire practice functioned that way. Extremely money-oriented with extra fees. My mother actually came to witness the end of this appointment because I quickly sent her a text message. She was also shocked & validated that I was worth more than how they were ALL treated me. After looking at employment history and his public Psychology Today & Linkedin profile, what we essentially figured together was that he was used to teenage age people or those he can more easily control in relation to addiction, or tell them what to do without questioning it. I was an actual active participant in my therapy, I have a significant amount of trauma (to the point he felt the need to diagnose me with PTSD with the DSM manual). He did not want to admit to the fact he could not treat me as a fault of his own that he told a trauma patient that it was their own fault they couldn't get help, even when begging. When I was too exhausted one day because I didn't sleep the night prior due to anxiety, I fell asleep during EMDR therapy at the very end. At the time, he said that was natural because it was relaxing and mimicking sleep patterns for the therapeutic purpose.The next appointment he fired me as a patient and invoked this instance of me falling asleep as a sign that the medication I was prescribed by my psychiatrist for my anxiety and depression meant he could not treat me. He stated that he would only treat me if I went to a rehab or some other form of detox to get off my prescribed Valium (I am physically dependent on this). He said that if I was prescribed this, I was incapable of getting any benefit from his therapy practices. I was incredibly willing to give my best shot but he refused to even try. He claimed to have tried to contact my psychiatrist 2 times and he did not respond -- this was a lie, confirmed to me by my psychiatrist with his records of phone calls and messages received. When I recounted what happened there with said psychiatrist, he asked if I would sign an ROI to contact this office because of what they did. When Andrew was firing me, he claimed to be on the phone with someone, stating it was a specialist friend backing up what he said. I honestly believe he was was lying. This ordeal was traumatic. I had enough appointments to tell a man all my traumatic stories, to cry in front of him, speak of my differing parental relationships and addiction, all for him to deem me a lost cause. We were literally forced out by all staff. During this they refused to speak to us at all/ acted like we were awful for asking about a refund/ were some sort of threat.. We asked for references (something promised) and they just told us to get out. read more

I don't understand how your staff is so rude to people that are literally going to you for help because they are mentally unwell; specifically a person by the name of Sparkles. Reading the Yelp reviews it seems like this is a common issue and this company doesn't deal with helping people but more so deals with collecting money. At first I thought it was just my bad however, this second time I know it's not. This is just another discouraging bump in the road into getting mental help. If you want help but struggle to ask for help and are easily discouraged; don't use this company. Didn't get to see a therpist today, a day I had been looking forward too for about a week now, because I was 8 minutes late bc of some unexpected rain traffic. I was told she couldn't see me now because insurance wouldn't cover it,,This is deffiently not true because I've been to tons of other therapists who have taken my insurance for 45 min appointments so? And even if it's true for them why do they have to report I was a near 8 mins late, I said I'd leave at 3 and was still told no. Then to make matters worse I was was chAreged 150$ that insurance also won't cover because they saw it as a late cancelation. This is an obvious money hungry ploy. **APPOINTMENT CANCELATION SCAM ALERT** Georgetown Branch** First off, full disclosure, I told them I would be writing this review after my last interaction with them. The scam alert has nothing to do with the quality of their counselors, who I found to be pretty good. The scam alert has to do with their cancellation policy. Here is the short version of my son's story: My 13 year old son has multiple diagnosis that could hinder his ability to problem solve and deal with technology. He logged onto his appointment on time. He stopped the session accidently one time but then due to connectivity issues he was kicked off again. So what did these neuro-typical adults do? They ended his session, called his mom to say they stopped his session and informed her that she would have to pay a $125 cancellation fee. When asked why they didn't call me immediately after the first disconnection, I was told I could have chosen to stay in the room with him to ensure connection. Really?! Does that sound like counseling, your mother staying in the room while you're in session in case your connection goes down? No, it does not. This policy is a SCAM so that even if your child only gets 30 minutes, which you have already paid $50, you as the parent will eat the cost since they can't bill insurance. This policy shows flagrant disrespect for the client's time (why not just turn it into a phone call- oh, then you wouldn't be able to get your juicy $125. This policy shows a complete disregard for 2 ethical principles that applies to all medical professionals, altruism and first do no harm. Principle 1#Altruism, or putting the need of the clients above our own, was not honored because what any client needs is to be heard. By just ending the session instead of reaching out to his parent for help with problem-solving Psych Dimensions showed that solving the issue was not the priority. They called after the session had ended to tell me that I had to pay them $125 dollars but couldn't be bothered to call me 10 minutes earlier to ask for my help with the internet connection. That makes sense because if they called 10 minutes earlier they wouldn't have been able to bill me $125. Principal #2: First do no harm: by not allowing the child to have the time that he has paid for and instead creating an increased financial strain on his parents, you are effectively forcing that child to miss future, needed counseling because you have taken the resources that would have been used to pay for those services. This is a huge blunder on behalf of Psych Dimensions. Anyone in any field of healthcare understands the sacred manner of first do no harm. Taking resources from families for your own financial gain, when you know they need those resources for counseling is despicable and goes against the foundation of what counseling stands for. Psych Dimensions basically punch my son and family in the face. They put a huge financial and emotional strain on us and I can't say enough about their lack of integrity. Do not use them for their cancellation policy alone. You deserve better and your family deserves better. read more

Terrible office staff. Arrived several minutes early for first appointment of the day while an entire gaggle of women in the office refused to acknowledge by presence - walked by numerous times - no one said hello or good morning - until after the start time of my appointment. Funny how they charge HUGE fees and refuse to see patients for being several minutes late and yet I arrive early and am forced into starting my appointment late because the staff can't process payment and vitals BEFORE the start of my appointment..... Finally I am acknowledged at the window for payment and hear rude language, laughing and cursing from office staff through open window - incredibly unprofessional in any setting but especially in a mental health office! Overheard one lady saying her friend's wife need to, 'stop being so f***ing sick all the time'. Nice one, lady. A+. Maybe she was a drug rep whooping it up with the staff - I dunno..... The bathroom is full of poster-size advertisements for weight loss supplements and management - must be in good with the drug company representatives to get such fantastic advertising! Makes me concerned for what kind of incentives they get for pushing medicines. Finally made it to the practitioner (note - not a psychiatrist) who asked me verbatim the questions on the 13+ forms filled out online prior to coming in to the office. Furthermore, the information that was transmitted to the practitioner was wrong. I questioned why I was asked the same exact questions I spent hours answering online and was told it was to get a better understanding of my answers. Logical answer and fair enough. As this progressed I realized no elaboration was occurring - questions were still the exact same - no follow up questions after I restated the answers already provided. Medication history was incomplete despite me providing it - this was the most egregious part of the whole thing. How in the world would I trust a place that can't manage their own patient data to manage medication going into my body? Absolutely not. Zero care, rude staff and faulty information, punitive policies (as stated and experienced repeatedly by others) that can cause significant financial hardship. Please save yourself or your loved one additional mental anguish dealing with this office - go absolutely anywhere else. I promise there are alternatives but it might take some digging - they exist - don't give up! read more

Wish I could give them less stars. In spite of being a place that "helps" with mental disorders, they have a zero tolerance attitude. There cancellation charges are high, the front office staff is snippy. I had to cancel an appointment. Face it, things happen. I called as soon as possible but was told I was 30 minutes outside the window and was charged $100. So I said I'd keep the appointment regardless of the hardship. Was told no, it had already been re-booked. This was all within less than an hour of cancelling. I could understand habitual cancelling or unable to re-book appointments but these were not the case. When we went for next appointment I was told pay it now or you will have to leave and be charged $100 for a no-show. Will be looking for a more tolerant place to treat my child's mental health issues. read more

The staff at Psych Dimensions have gone above and beyond to help me and my daughter. At first, my insurance was very difficult to confirm. Roland spent the better part of two days working on it and got it confirmed in time to make our evaluation. Also, after an emergency, the staff was able to move up an appointment nearly two weeks out to the next day from when I called. The phlebotomist was kind and gentle when taking blood for labs. Dr Benoit was patient while listening us and helped explain the wide range of strategies to improve our situation. We will definitely continue to come see Dr Benoit at Psych Dimensions! read more

I've been seeing a doctor and therapist at this location for over two years. I've always found the clerical staff and the clinicians to be helpful and friendly. Dr. Moore is extremely knowledgeable about medications, drug interactions and alternative therapies. Several of the other reviews I've read mentioned issues with being billed for missed appointments. This IS a business, when all is said and done, and they do inform you in advance and in writing that they will bill the credit/debit card on file if you miss an appointment. I have no problem qualms at all about recommending them. read more

We liked the therapist we saw; however, our experience with office staff both in person and through email was very negative. Response through email was curt and uninterested. Response in person was overbearing and aggressive. Response over the phone was impossible to gauge because I was never able to get a hold of anyone in the office. I am giving three stars solely because the therapist who responded to our experience with the office staff was able to adequately resolve our concerns. I feel like I get 2 therapists and 2 doctors for the price of one. The therapists are a male and female and actually let you go back and forth between them, which was very helpful given that my relationship is what drove me here to begin with. What was astounding to me was how each therapist was completely in the know with whatever I had told the other therapist the week prior. The doctors I had were male and female too. Both were extremely kind and knowledgable and also 100% aware of everything I had told the previous doctor, surprisingly enough. It was also really reassuring having a second opinion of what was going on with me that basically said the same thing. Best of it all was how totally comfortable and relaxed I felt there. Each time I went I almost would get excited beforehand which was weird. It felt like I was going to go talk to a good friend. I actually work in the healthcare field myself and know a thing or two about quality patient care, especially when it comes to mental health care. The psychiatrist decided to use me as a guinea pig for a medicine that SHE loves...and it didn't fit my needs AT ALL...so much to the point that I ended up in the ER with too low of blood pressure!...after $345 for first visit I went back to tell her that the meds were making me feel worse than EVER...Her response was - well make an appointment ($160 more) and we will discuss it!!!. No thanks...went to ER and they said "why on earth would she prescribe you this"?!... they straightened out my medication at the ER and I quickly got into Lone Star Circle of Care who were very helpful and they fix my medications... they work on a sliding scale they were awesome patient it was easy to get in and out and quick to get an appointment wish I would have went there in the first place... and luckily I survived the medication from this office in order to write this review to help others! read more
