I had to have my car towed to Safeway one night a few months ago. The engine worked fine but stick shift would not get out of park. It was there overnight. I called the next day and they said they'd have to order a part and it would probably be in the next day or the one after that. They said it would only take a few hours once they got the part. I called after 3 days, then four days, then I waited a couple of days more before calling. They said the Ford rep should be in that afternoon. I called around 2. He didn't arrive. I waited 11 days for the part to come in. I called the Ford dealership in Seekonk and asjed how kong should that part for my particular car take to come in. They said the next day; 2 at the very longest. When I finally called on the 11th day, they said it would only take a couple of hours and they would call me when it was ready. I waited almost all day. They close at 5 pm. I called at 4:45. It wasn't ready they said. I drove with my sister to Safeway and got there just before 5. They said it was ready and parked on the side of the building,but they obviously had no intention of calling me. When I paid my bill, the guy said that the area around the stick shift was covered and caked in crud. Now this is when I decided thst I would never go back to this establishment. Because I have an extremely clean and well maintained 2008 Ford Explorer. Many people have comnented on how it looks almost brand new. I wash and wax the exterior faithfully. I shampoo the carpets myself and they look brand new. I DO NOT LEAVE AN OUNCE OF TRASH IN IT...EVER! I DON'T EAT IN IT. AND EVEN MY GRANDCHILDREN KNOW THAT GRANDMA KEEPS HER CAR CLEAN and they throw out any trash. So when they told me there was "Caked on crud" in the front console, I knew they were lying to me. I think they lied to me repeatedly about when the part would arrive and I KNEW they were lying to me about the filth in the stick shift area. That is the worst thing anyone can do in business and definitely don't ever lie to a woman. I do not recommend this business and will never return.

My vehicle had no issues before the service, but immediately after leaving the shop, it started making an unusual noise. I called Tire MD right away and was advised to bring the car back the next day. Upon returning, they initially told me the noise was due to a tire issue. After saving up, I brought the vehicle back for new tires, but then they informed me that the noise was actually coming from the differential/transmission. Notably, Tire MD is the only shop that has ever worked on these parts of my vehicle, and the noise began right after their service. I calmly explained this to the owner, who unfortunately responded by lashing out at me, accusing me of making baseless claims, and dismissing my concerns by saying it's a common issue with these vehicles. However, this problem only arose after their work on my car. Now, I am faced with the burden of legal fees and the cost of a new vehicle. This experience has been highly disappointing and stressful, and I cannot recommend Tire MD based on the service and treatment I received.

We've been to Brum's a few times for oil changes and minor repairs and we're glad we did. We have found Brum's to be reliable, honest, timely, and reasonable. They have not tried to up sell anything, but at the same time informed me when (for example) I needed new rear tires. He asked where I had the front done and agreed they did good work. They are always pleasant and professional. I recommend Brum's very highly and will not go someplace else if Brum's can do the work!

I took the car to Pat and he stopped what he was doing and started to diagnose the car. He then told me that most likely it wasn't serious. I told him I had an important doctors appointment the next morning and asked if I should rent a car. He said "leave the car with me." Later that day, he called me and said the car was repaired!
