When I reached out their master electrician went into full denial mode that they didn't install that outlet and it's not in the paperwork. I paid well over 1000 dollars for the project which seemed high to install and upgrade some plugs but I wanted it done right. I even offered to pay for the double pole breaker to fix it and they wanted to charge a full service call to make it right. Complete lack of integrity and accountability. I am not sure how that outlet got there but being that I had to use an electrician to install the upgrade not sure how I would have managed to install that one. I'm sure there are much better companies that actually stand for something you could use!

This complaint is regarding Generator Power Systems (GPS) and their failure to complete our…read moregenerator installation despite full payment on June 11, 2025. The technician, William Easton, arrived that day but left due to weather, promising to return June 12. He returned but couldn't complete the job and said he'd be back later that day with another technician--he never came. On June 16, he returned and said a part was needed, assuring us it would be "emergency shipped" through their connection with Kohler and that the General Manager would call. That call never happened. A week later, on June 23, I contacted GPS and was told the part had "just been ordered," contradicting earlier claims. I was promised a mid-week update that didn't happen. On June 26, I followed up again and was told the same thing--without any further communication. On June 27, after another failed call, I received four inconsistent emails from Becky Showers, GPS's accountant, with conflicting part order dates (June 17 and June 23) and no clear plan for resolution. On July 3, I was informed the wrong part had been ordered and the installation could not take place. I was told the correct part would be "emergency shipped" again, with no confirmed date. Despite repeated promises, no one from GPS management contacted me until I issued a firm written deadline for a response by June 30. We've experienced a complete lack of follow-through, transparency, and customer care--leaving us without a working generator during Texas storm season. This situation has dragged on for over three weeks since payment, with no resolution and no accountability from GPS.

I asked for an estimate to install a Tesla Charger, Generator Inlet, and whole home surge protector, thats all. I told them I was competitively bidding the work and this is what they gave me. BTW, I was able to get three competitive quotes for this work that were all in the $1,900 - $2,300 range, so it really was just this company being way out of line with the rest of the market. Then he tried to use scare tactics to get me to do things like spend $10k to replace all my outlets and light switches since the house was built in 2005. He also wanted me to sign a document after receiving the estimate that had not-so-fine print that removed all liability for their work if I didn't do all the upgrades they suggested, including the $10k for replace all the outlets in my house. After I reminded the estimator three times that I was competitively bidding this work and that $23k for all these unnecessary items would not be winning him the job, he pushed for the $23k option again and began telling me about their low financing options. I asked him to leave at that point. I cant imagine how many elderly people or widows are taken advantage of by these types of scare and pressure tactics.
