Very much ok. The pizza is good, not too saucy and a thin crust, like I like. The large was also huge. The cheesesteak egg rolls are mediocre, the meat was bland and a little chewier than other places make them. I have mixed emotions about this one. I would say that it's average at best. The pies are good size. Their medium is the size of some other shops large. The crust is crispy but tasteless...with a not so great "premade" feel to it, which is reminiscent of middle school pizza. Can't really form an opinion about the sauce because it was hard to identify. There was such little sauce that people were pulling up the cheese to see if there was any underneath. Topping were "ok"...any less would have slipped them into the "skimpy" category. Adding 3 toppings to a large pie will increase your total price by about $10. For a pizza to be labeled "great", it has to check more than a few boxes. This didn't. Crust - no sauce - no Toppings - ok Value - no Overall, the experience was "less than memorable". A return trip isn't likely. read more

I got the mushroom cheesesteak with caramelized onions, mushrooms and american cheese. It came on a seeded roll. I wish today was the day I started asking where they got their rolls because I really liked this roll. It added flavor, had a crust, was light and easy to chew. You could see the onions and mushrooms spent time on the grill with the meat. Everything worked together and had a great flavor. My 2 concerns, not really concerns, more 2 things that keep this from being a very top cheesesteak. 1. The cheese, the cheese is melted through pretty well but it looks like it was put on top of the meat while on the grill and then flipped into the roll. I would love a better cheese melt. 2. More meat, this is a very good cheesesteak and it was under $10. I was eating mostly roll at ends. read more

Beautiful 67 degree day in November, stopped at Providence Pizzeria to order lunch for a picnic in Ridley Creek State Park. Previous reviews were spot on, the place is very clean! Presentation of displayed pizza's was very attractive. Ordered a large pizza with half pepperoni. Pizza is authentic thin, crispy crust. Good tasty cheese, with flavorful pepperoni. Very pleasant and accommodating with providing plates and napkins for a picnic. Will definitely add Providence Pizzeria as a go to stop. read more

Stopped by for a meatball sandwich last week. It was a lot of bread and not a lot of meatball. Skimpiest I've ever had. Won't return.

I can appreciate how busy they get on a Friday evening but I don't like being lied to... ordered two pizzss around 4:30 for a 5:30 pick up and showed up at 5:29 Told them I was picking up and was told my order would be another couple minutes. Used to be La Locanda to go, it's on the corner of Providence and Rt 3 with a nice little parking lot. Be careful pulling out, those cars are moving fast! They bake the bread for La Locanda across the street. Huge yummy rolls, I need to buy one. So far I've only had a cheesesteak here, which was fantastic. They use a slightly seeded roll, which I don't care for, but the steak itself was top notch. Finely chopped meat with cheese in every bite. I've been getting takeout from Providence on occasion, today ordered a Mediterranean spinach salad with added shrimp. The salad looked great when I got home, but 20$ for a salad with 4 small shrimp. Shame on them for charging that. Not going back. read more

Walked in to get my order, nobody was wearing a mask. I asked why is nobody wearing one, got an answer of "yeah yeah". Clearly you do not care about the safety of your customers or staff. If you are lazy enough to not wear a mask I wonder what other safety measures are even taken in regards to food safety and quality. It's places like this that are the reason other businesses (who are trying to abide by cdc guidelines) stay open. My husband is far too nice to make any demands and didn't want to wait another hour, so once again we have a $20 pizza we can't eat. Stopped with my young son who has a gluten allergy and find out that have gluten free pizza. We were only looking for a quick lunch so they gave him ham and cheese roll up. I had a slice of cheesestake pizza that was filling and delicious. The place is extremely clean which is very important to me. The gentleman working the counter was very friendly and accommodating. Changed hands, AGAIN! Pizzas are good, and one of the few places that STILL toss their own crust, not the pre-made cardboard-like disks other places are using now. Ordered the lasagna the other night, it was basically slop, didn't resemble lasagna at all, was just a mess of noodles, way to much cheese, and ground beef poured into the aluminum pan it came in. This spot us to be our take out go to when it was La Locanda II Go. We figured it wouldn't be bad and gave Providence a shot and boy are we disappointed. We ordered 2 pasta dishes which use to be delicious and flavorful. The sauce was watered down in the penne in vodka and would have tasted better from a jar you buy at the store. Was supposed to come with garlic knots...we got half a seeded long roll. Place looks nice but the food is boring and far from what it use to be. I'd go else where. read more
