The Providence Eagle is the only Bar where i feel at home. to me it's not just a business it's a family. if you're into the leather scene this place is for you. The bartenders are friendly, the atmosphere is enticing, the art on the walls, to the entertainment on the TVs, and the spiciness in the corner, from the big steel cage on the stage. I love this place, and I thank you Mikey for providing a phenomenal space to feel myself and be me without judgement.

This gay bar is cute. I wasn't a big fan of the stereotypical techno beats they were playing. It seemed to be the same beat over and over again. No one was really dancing. It's definitely an older crowd compared to the Ego which has the 18 year olds. There's a weird sex room that's more like a sex hallway. The bathrooms are red so you can't shoot up since you can't see your veins. And everyone just seems to stand around and socialize with each other. So it serves its purpose as a bar. There wasn't anything that really stood out to me for a Saturday night. The drinks were good abs everyone was friendly.

A nice quaint venue, music was awesome. Great staff, thank you so much for the invite to be part of the Eagle. I will be back.

Be careful at this place. the bartenders are known for running up your tab on your credit card and adding themself a big tip. Especially Ivan! Thankfully the owner refunded me. But Ivan still works there. Be warned.

So, I was understandably hesitant about a new bar moving into what was considered by many to be hallowed ground. Since I walk by it on my way home from work, I decided to stop in soon after it first opened to see what it was like. And now I am a regular and it's one of my favorite watering holes in the city. Super cool atmosphere, with tons of horror movie memorabilia on the walls. A couple of pinball machines ( including a brand new Evil Dead one which is really sweet), and neat liitle outback area for nicer days. They also occasionally have music and drag shows inside, and in the summer months cool shows outside in the parking lot next door. You can also grab a grilled cheese or a hot dog from Puggles Grilled Cheese most days of the week if you're feeling peckish. And my favorite thing... PICKLEBACKS.... !!!! All the drinks are cheap and they have a good selection of beers and ciders. Maybe most importantly, the owners Jeff and Courtney are absolutely lovely people who really understood keeping the locals vibe of the E & O era but also being it's own thing. Definitely support this great establishment.

They also have a great jukebox. Bartenders are friendly and quick. There's usually some kind of punch available with a name like Ecto-cooler which is a weird color but completely delicious if you're into that sort of thing. They sometimes have pop-ups there, one time they had fancy grilled cheese sandwiches. Definitely a fun spot! It's pretty small inside so just know that and don't roll in with a huge crew...

The food menu is limited but comes correct. They just switched it up. Friends, you NEED to get a Burger Pocket. It looks like a flying saucer. Inside is a tender, juicy burger grilled to perfection and embraced by gooey American cheese. It comes with dipping sauce and pickles on the side. I never realized how annoying burger topping slippage was until the Burger Pocket solved a problem I didn't know I had. The house made chips & onion dip are also delicious, although I needed at least twice as much dip. The vibes are cozy. The clientele is local & diverse. Solid option on Wickenden / College Hill.
