Wonderful lunch experience here today! We came in around 11:30 on a Saturday. We were immediately greeted by a friendly, welcoming, smiling face. She said we could sit anywhere and brought us menus and water. Our receipt stated her name was Delila, and she was an outstanding server! She let us know they were under new ownership since last year. It had been a few years since we were here last. We ordered chip, salsa and guacamole to start. Everything was delicious and fresh. The chips were crispy and not greasy at all. The salsa and guacamole was so fresh tasting, it seemed it was made to order. For entrees, my husband ordered Chilaquiles, from the brunch menu. I ordered a chicken quesadilla from the regular menu. Both entrees were delicious. The chicken in the quesadilla was grilled chicken breast, not shredded, which I loved. I'm not a fan of shredded chicken. I also asked for a side of sour cream. We were so full, we didn't have room for dessert. Maybe next time! This restaurant is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking in the parking lot, or nearby street parking. The parking lot has metered parking; however, there's a QR code you can scan in the restaurant lobby to get validated parking. Very nice, and easy to use. The restaurant inside has authentic decor and music. There are two dining rooms, one with a bar. They also have a small outdoor dining patio available. Prices are a bit high for chips, salsa and guacamole, but they were made fresh and I don't mind paying if the portions are matching the price tag. It was definitely enough to be a full meal. I do think the side of sour cream was a bit high since I could buy a 16 oz container for the same 1/3 cup I was served. Overall we were beyond pleased with our experience here today. My mom took me here to eat for the first time last night. From the second we walked up we were greeted by the staff. The owner came to the table multiples times to chat and check on things. It wasn't too busy and service was fast. Super friendly staff and people that came in. I ordered a blackberry margarita and it had blackberry pieces in it which was amazing! The ambiance was fun and friendly! I also got a prickly pear margarita and that was the most amazing thing ever. Our food was delicious and I would highly recommend this place. read more

Parking was easy and you just scan the QR code inside the door for two free hours which is very nice in downtown Vancouver... I ordered the chips and salsa which were fresh and delicious! Seriously, the best Mexican restaurant in Vancouver--and I've tried many. Service is always great, the food is fresh, flavorful and authentic. I particularly like their carnitas-style chicken since pork isn't my favorite protein it is a nice switch-up. My husband's favorite is the mole enchilada, but we've also enjoyed the tacos, burrito, nachos, and red and green enchiladas at different times. What a gem. As a San Diego transplant, this is the first real Mexican food I have found in Vancouver. The chips and salsa and guacamole were perfect. Best salsa I've had in a while. Provecho is back! We were so excited to hear about the reopening of one our favorite restaurants in Vancouver. The first thing I noticed (any long time Provecho guest will know what I am talking about) was the very friendly greeting. It was just my husband and I but we were offered the choice of a two-top or four-top which was unheard of during the previous ownership. We chose the two-top but the owner made sure we knew it was an option. In addition to the excellent customer service, the food was just like we remembered. Not greasy, and all fresh ingredients. After starting with chips and salsa ($5) I ordered the carne asada ($18) burrito. It was on the large side (I was able to eat about half), with a flour tortilla and filled with big chunks of tender, spiced perfectly, tasty steak, black beans (you can choose pinto if desired), cheese, with lettuce and sour cream on the side. It was excellent. My husband chose carne asada street tacos ($16), which came with two and were served on corn tortillas with steak, cheese, cilantro with beans, rice, lettuce and sour cream on the side. He said they were excellent also. Other offerings include quesadillas, enchiladas, nachos, specialty tacos, soups and salads. A must mention is the excellent margaritas served here. The restaurant is clean, decorated with brightly colored walls which add to the vibrant spirit shown here. Welcome back Provecho. We will see you soon! read more

Under new management/ownership and it's so good! Parking fees are taken care of by the business via a QR code you scan, which is nice. The staff are very friendly, service was quick, the setting was good, the drinks were wonderful, and the food was delicious! House made sauces and syrups. Chips, salsa and guac were so good we ordered another one. The feta veggie tacos with spicy red sauce was incredible. One drink was a little sweet for me so my sister took it, and he kindly replaced it with another. Party of 7 and every plate was empty. We had a great experience at Provecho today. Had the birria tacos and asada quesadilla. All were superb and freshly made. Service was friendly and felt like we got to know everyone who worked there. We went to Provecho on a sunny Sunday and sat on their little patio. I got the mahi mahi taco plate. The tacos were big and SO good! The Cadillac margarita was also delicious... I had to get two.. :) The owner(?) mentioned they will be revamping their menu soon and offered us a couple house specials that weren't on the menu yet. Next was Nachos... quick but nothing special. Ambiance felt nice. Then sh8 hit the fan. Dinner plates came in dirty with stuck rice. Then taco had silver foil in the bean & rice... side dish.
