This company did our home inspection on behalf of the seller. We were the buyer. Someone needs to explain to me how they could possibly miss this kind of damage in the windowsill which turned out to be completely rotted out. The entire window sill needed to be removed and replaced and a portion of the wall beneath it also. I would not use this company. They obviously are not very thorough. read more

We purchased a new home from a national builder in Willis, TX. We had suspicions the builder was cutting corners so we hired Pro Vantage to inspect the builder's work. Wow! is all I can say. Lee from Pro Vantage found items that needed correction comprising several pages that we presented to builder to correct. These items were safety, construction, workmanship, and oversights that needed to be fixed. Lee is a a very knowledgeable inspector and we are so glad our Realtor recommended him. We actually used Pro Vantage twice. Once before drywall was closed in and again at final walk through. My experience with ProVantage was excellent. I like to know the details about the house I'm buying and Mr. Rushing was more than happy to let me follow him around throughout the inspection. He never made me feel like I was in the way of his job getting done; in fact, it was rather the opposite and he made me feel like his job was to help me know everything I wanted to about this house. He was on time, friendly, kind, thorough, communicated well, and was incredibly helpful. Need a home inspection? Lee is the only one to go to! This is my second house to have inspected in 2 weeks (the first house purchase fell through)-- I thought the first guy was thorough! Hah! I don't think Lee missed so much as a square inch of this house! 29 pages! And he said this house was "really in pretty good shape"!
