That was back before US-24 became a divided 4 lane highway. The truck stop remains, having changed hands a few times along the way. Presently, the sit down restaurant is closed, awaiting someone to take it over and put it back into operation. The restrooms are always clean, as well as the showers. They have a couple massage recliners and (I think) a video game or two. The convenience store has a decent selection of truckers stuff (CB radios,GPS units, antennas, lights, fuel additives, etc.). Typical truck stop prices. It also has snacks and refreshing drinks. They feature pizza (Hunt Brothers, I believe) by the slice. Hot coffee and tea are always available. Outside, they have 5 or 6 diesel lanes for big rigs, and multiple lanes for gasoline off to the right of the diesel. Their diesel prices are considerably cheaper than the local national chain competitors. A full service shop with 2 pull thru service bays operates during the daytime. They also have washout service for reefers. The parking lot is large and usually empty during the day. However, it fills up quickly when nightfall arrives, a situation the will continue to get worse as time goes on. All in all, a pleasant Mom-n-Pop facility that I continue to patronize in my travels through the area.

I contacted the dealership to tell them that I was taking it into a local automotive shop... I took it to my local automotive and they revealed the problem and as they got into it more they found more and more problems... It's one thing to have some minor things come up "overtime " but to have it delivered to you with a ticking sound in the engine, and incur a bill which now exceeds $5000 is very frustrating and I'm sick to my stomach over it... So no I would not recommend this dealership... Anyone that can let a vehicle leave their dealership especially with no laws in Ohio with no lemon law on their used vehicles... there should be something in place to make them stand behind that vehicle especially within the first few days, "as is or not."

I was pleased that Brondes had a large enough inventory that they had a "bare bones" model available, and when I dealt with my salesperson Bill Neumeyer and explained my situation, that I qualified for X plan pricing and the Medical Professional incentives, he moved quickly to facilitate my deal. The whole transaction took about an hour, the truck was ready before it was promised, and a potentially painful transaction was handled quickly and professionally. I definitely would buy from Bill at Brondes again.

Purchasing a new car here was a great experience. Kal Laugerman(aka Car Guy Kal) is a great…read moresalesman. He is extremely knowledgeable about what he sells. I was a remote buyer 93 miles away. Kal took his time helping me first over chat and then we finally connected over the phone. The price he quoted me was the exact price I paid. He had the guys detail the car then spent over an hour with me helping me get connect to and learn about the Sync 4 system and all the details of the car. My daughter in law bought a new Explorer the same day back home.(Kal even checked for any finance specials they may be able to use while I was on the phone with my son) The dealer she bought from sent her out of there with her phone connect via bluetooth and no knowledge of Sync 4. Though I'm by far not a tech guy, I used what Kal showed me earlier that day, and helped her get connected through Apple CarPlay and got her Explorer linked up with the Ford appon her phone and showed her a few features. The next time anyone in my family or I get a new vehicle we will drive the 93 miles and buy it from Kal.

Given that the transmission requires several hours of work, we were willing to give this company over $700.00 to do it, since there aren't many places around willing to work with modern transmissions anymore. Wauseon is almost an hour from our house. We took it there for a diagnostic. Usually the diagnostic is included, however, since this repair would take several hours of shop time, we paid over $90.00 for it. They stated that they're very busy, and wouldn't be able to fit us in for that much shop time for about three weeks, however, wouldn't even schedule anything in the books for it. Wouldn't you want that guaranteed business/money? The shop time mechanic pay is going to be those same hours as for other jobs, no? After a month of not hearing a word, we called back to check in on the timeframe/scheduling. The gentleman who spoke to my husband stated that they still didn't know when they could fit it in, and they'd call him. A month and a half later, my husband calls to ask again, and they state that they "don't know" when they can fit it in, act ANNOYED with my husband for even calling to ask, and still won't even schedule it. Well...rude. But, ok. Unfortunately, this means we are going to have to search for another mechanic all over again, and are out almost $100.00 for a useless diagnostic. Thanks, Delle! :)
