The crew replaced all four rear tires as they were all the same age and we did not want piecemeal the replacement. We are impressed with the friendly, professional approach John took to help us. They had the tires we needed in stock. We were back on the road in just over one hour which was amazing considering we were a drop-in repair. RV back to a very smooth ride. Hutch's towing towed us off the Ohio Turnpike and we stayed two nights at the Quality Inn across the street. I called Suburban Auto first thing Monday morning. Dave was very accommodating and got working on our vehicle right away. He was finished in just a few hours and did a very thorough job at flushing all the burnt gunk out of the car. When I thanked him for working so quickly he said he put himself in my shoes and thought how he'd want to get on his way home right away. I really appreciated his thoughtfulness and empathy to our situation as I was still two days from home and had two children and a dog with me. The car worked just fine all the way back to Connecticut without incident. I got in to see my regular mechanic a few days later to check the vehicle over. He said Suburban Auto did a great job. Thanks again!

Aug. 24th, my rear differential 'broke down'. State Police provided a towing service to get me off the highway to nearest motel. I determined I was about 7 mi. from Wasseon, Oh. -knowing no one. Using cell phone internet, I determined options for "Help" were a Don's GMC Dealership, Dells Trans and Steve Martinez. I left voice messages for each and even sent email directly to the Service Manager on Don's GMC website. To date, ONLY Steve Martinez responded. That was on Monday at 8 a.m. Steve, without any pressure tactic and correctly diagnosing sight unseen- offered to inspect my car "immediately" and determine the problem and he would either proceed or not at my direction. I.E. = He would help immediately. All wheel drive, but problem was the rear differential lacked gear lube and gears overheated and shattered. We agreed most economical solution was to replace the 'rear end: Steve searched, located a used 'rear-end assembly' and was done Tue. night. I headed on to Pa. on Wed. morning - alas, after 165 mi. this rear end unit also failed (despite Steve's thoroughly checking all appropriate seals and fluid levels). Stay with me: I was able to locate a U-Haul to get a 10' truck to haul the trailer and get to Pa. The Unbelievable end to the saga: Steve drove 165 mi.-retrieved my car, R & R the Rear End again and refused any further payment. UNBELIEVABLE INTEGRITY IN TODAYS WORLD. I'm thanking my God for Steve's compassion to my plight and character. I wish Steve's business was in my hometown-He'd have my never ending business. I'll find some ways to thank him- but I'm spreading the word here in hopes that others may be guided in their selection of mechanics! Dave Grandon, New Cumberland, Pa.

After several phone calls to companies higher in the search results proved fruitless, I got one of John's friendly and competent employees on the third ring. I conferenced her into a 3-way call with my son. She took the information, and proceeded to line up the tow and even arranged for the driver to take him to a safe, clean and quiet local motel(!) where he spent the night before another of John's drivers came to pick him up after repairing the car. The problem was a dead alternator. John's mechanics recharged the dead battery, ran system diagnostics, identified the problem as being in the alternator and had the job wrapped up by Noon the next day. The price for the work was entirely reasonable, and the alternator comes with a lifetime warranty. Thank you, John's Towing & Repair Service.
