Went in for an oil change. Fast and friendly! They took great care of my car and made sure to go over what they did. Great pricing as well.

Yark Toyota drained the oil (other than the oil in the filter) and gave the car back to her. It WAS MINUS 4 Quarts. Again, if I could give them negative stars I would in a heartbeat. Use hidden cameras if you can and I bet you'll catch them doing shady shit.

Now, admittedly, it was all part of their service, however, after I told them that I wasn't about to absorb their price tag, I took the car to another garage. Yes, they found the same issues, but their charge wasn't so earth shattering, and I didn't need to take out a second mortgage. Beware of this dealership, and all dealerships. Another example, not at Yark, but wearing that same brand name, I took the same car in, and they said I needed a new battery. This was a week after I had one of my friends, who worked in another garage, install a new one. So, I wasn't going for that. I took it back to my friend, he tested it, and lo and behold, it was good to go. Here's the thing, we all have AI, but apparently, every little ding needs to be placed into diagnostics. You mean to tell me they can't pull up, on their computers, what is wrong, through a category search? No way I believe every little concern needs to be charged a diagnostic fee when, with most laptops, you can pull up anything you want. Here's an idea, check the menu. No, they have to charge for every little hit. I won't be taking my car into Yark ever again. Be very leery of this place.

Called Joe, our salesman, and asked for an explanation. I asked that the sales manager, Scott Duncan, give me a call. No phone call. Called his boss, Bob Piehl. Was told he would investigate. No return phone call. Spoke with Ross Lundqueist, GM at Yark. Was told he would discuss with Bob, no return phone call. Called Bob and was told that they gave me way too much for my pitiful trade in and they would never be able to sell it. My 2017 Prius, which I had purchased new at Yark sold within 2 weeks. Finally called Toyota Brand Engagement Center. Total waste of my time. They apologized for Yark and was told the GM would call within 48 hours. No phone call. Called engagement center back and explained that I never received a call. They responded that they could not make Yark Toyota of Maumee call back. This dealership does not have the courtesy to return my calls and discuss this issue. Hope after reading this you will ask yourself, are you really getting a good deal from this hometown dealership? I would certainly check other dealers outside this area, especially if you are a woman.

Took me some time to get that money together so I brought my car in today to have the service completed (after calling around and being quoted $600 for the service and alignment from other mechanics" the service was scheduled with no mention of price increases or what a new estimate would be. Why was my bill $1094.86?!?! I was told the part price increased since then and I wasn't quoted for labor. It took them an hour and a half and was charged $314 just in labor. This is all unacceptable. I should had at the very least been given an updated quote before being forced to shell our money I didn't have. I was a loyal Yark customer. Not anymore.

I brought it to them that day and they fixed it free of charge. The following week on January 27th, a "Service Battery Charging System" screen came on. I brought it back to them again. I assumed the dealership would take care of it considering the vehicle by this point had been driven less than 100 miles and just over a week of being bought. They messaged me stating the alternator needed replaced, costing $900. After arguing why this would not be considered a major component of the vehicle, making it covered under the 50/50 warranty, they agreed to pay for half. I asked them to provide the multi point inspection I was assured was done prior to buying the vehicle. They kept telling me to talk to one person after the next and still never gave me the inspection I wanted. I then told them to at least do a new one, which seemed to go unheard because they never did it besides a basic face value inspection, checking tires and the area that was being worked on. After that experience, I brought the vehicle to a mechanic that worked at Brondes Ford. They started their own mechanic shop and service all our commercial vehicles at work. They did a multi-point inspection on my vehicle and the results were not surprising to me. The truck failed a hose pressure check, resulting in 2 heater hoses failing. The next issue was a leak from the upper and lower oil pan. This resulted in both seals needing replaced. This required me to pay over $1700 for labor and parts to repair. They also mentioned a little rust on the exhaust and the tires needing to be replaced in the next year but that is minor compared to the rest. I contacted the manager via email and have not gotten a response. I emailed them February 2nd and still have not gotten a response in any form. I wanted them to reimburse me for this repair because I told them I was traveling out of state and did not want to be left stranded on the side of the road, yet they still did not do their due diligence in providing a mechanically sound vehicle. When purchased, I was told the truck was in great condition and anything that was wrong before was fixed before being sold. There was no "sold as-is" on any paperwork, sticker, or verbally. If you are planning on buying a used vehicle for yourself, or even your kids' first vehicle, bring it to your own mechanic to have it inspected before purchasing. You are just another customer to them and once the deal is signed, you are no longer a priority to them.

When we arrived and test drove a car; We noticed a multitude of issues with the car. When looking back over the listing, they either had incorrect features of the car listed, or failed to acknowledge the failure of the key features of the vehicle. After getting ready to mention these issues (of the display, radio, and rear view camera failing to work) we were met by our sales person immediately stating "yeah those features don't work, and we are NOT fixing any of them". This was highly off putting (considering the pricing of the vehicle reflected those similar in the market.... with fully functioning interior features). In the end we did end up purchasing a vehicle from Perrysburg auto mall after negotiating a price that better suited the current state of the vehicle. Not sure I would truly recommend car shopping here unless you plan to buy new.

Ziad, the General Manager, and Melinda were respectful, considerate, empathetic, and fair. They helped make my dreams come true. Melinda from the beginning gave me good advice along the way as she drives a similar Tuscon I purchased--talk about great credibility! In the end, it also didn't hurt that Melinda set me up with a sweet incentive (55" 4K Smart Television), which was nice consideration in today's competitive environment. She went above and beyond to set herself apart and showed me appreciation on becoming a new customer. I truly felt valued and appreciated. The entire team made me feel important and that's the difference. That's my experience. The only reason I didn't give a full five stars is that the closing process changed at the last minute but it all worked out. It perhaps could have been communicated a little better up front but it all worked out perhaps for the better--just a little concerned in the beginning. Nevertheless, Melinda and the finance manager reassured me, were patient, understanding, and pleasant to work with. At the end of the day, I had a special order and they were able to get the job done for me--so go see and give Melinda and Taylor of Hyundai in Perrysburg, Ohio an opportunity even if they don't have your exact vehicle in stock they can make things happen! They'll even go pick the car up for you to make things happen quickly. Lastly, Matt Floyd took the time to go over the many features my new 2019 Tuscon Ultimate has. It's a lot and Matt got me up and running. So, if I could add an additional 1/2 star this would make up for the slight delay. All in all, everything worked out well.
