we have supported this business for a while , I recently took a new blouse designer to be specific to get cleaned . I picked it up and it was completely ruined.The owner to date has not reached out and has sent messages via his employees offering a 35 usd refund for a 180 usd blouse. I am not one to ever write a negative reviews unless it was THAT BAD & others should be informed. This is a warming! There is a reason they only have 2 stars! The WORST dry cleaners, unprofessional, lost some clothes, and most disrespectful and rude "business owners" I have ever encountered. 1.) the receptionist at the front who receives the clothes puts things in her computer incorrectly or doesn't remember what you need with your clothing and has to call to ask what you needed done with what (sometimes I only have dresses pressed if they are brand new) or she puts in a robe as a "gown" making the price go up about $30 for a robe to be pressed. 2.) I have had to take a number of things back to have redone or repressed. And I have had to go back to have them find a missing belt that goes with something that they didn't find on their own and call me to let me know! Irresponsible and unprofessional! 3.) they recently lost one of my husband's $153 nice theory polos he got for Father's Day and then tried to blame me for THEM losing it! It's insane! I should have read the Yelp reviews before we ever came here. Now I see them and see why. 4.) watch your tickets! They over charge by A LOT. I always take our clothes to the dry cleaners and have paid my fair share in cleaning services b/c I don't iron or some clothes are dry clean only which I don't mind if they end up looking really nice, but to be over charged for certain things is pretty crazy. For example they tried to charge $20 to PRESS ONLY a sundress! It's should be like $8, like I paid in CA where we just moved from. And no I don't need money and I am not poor like the owner tried to imply after I have paid $1,000s in drying cleaning to them since January of this year alone! So, Not only have I had issues with the unprofessionalism and them messing up or losing our expensive clothing, they are unbelievably rude. I can't even go down the road of the names the owner tried to call me. Let's just say its just a very leftist narrative that is currently and unfortunately being push politically & through the media that has absolutely zero truth to it & nothing to do with the fact that they are unprofessional, Disrespectful, rude and have been the careless ones to lose paying customers nice clothing. Just b/c I held them accountable For their actions and losing clothing or messing them up, they try to pull the you know what card. I have never in my life!!! The last conversation of being called names & Losing my husband's shirt was the last straw for me. I was giving them a chance b/c of convenience, but there are other great dry cleaners around for example Diamond Dry Cleaning on Coit-they are very nice and professional and have 5 starts! I don't use the cleaners that often but found that Prosperous Cleaners in Prosper, Texas has done a good job. I initially went to this cleaners for alterations. I checked around the Prosper, McKinney, Frisco area for prices on alterations as was told that the seamstress that performs the alterations is either not in (and did not know when they'd return) or the particular cleaners doesn't offer alterations (unless you work on bankers hours or are retired and off during the day). Ki, with Prosperous Cleaners is professional and offers a great service for a fair price. I went in for alterations, not dry cleaning (though I did get them dry cleaned) and have been happy with the service. Not sure why the rating is low for this cleaners but I like the service I receive. Also not sure if military discounts are offered (Army vet) but Ki is nice. read more

Dropped by here since it's on the way to work. Surprised they charged me $50 when normally it would be $30 at the place off La Cima. The 20% off dry cleaning on their front door is misleading. The reviewers here who say they have fair pricing must be okay paying $30K/year in MUD and property taxes. read more

Very disappointing outcome. Spots on suit, asked 3x to be addressed. 1st time they didn't even try and clean the spots. 2nd time I showed them what needed to be addressed, ignored. The 3rd time only one spot was addressed. They didn't even try to address the others. After all this, he wanted to be paid for "trying"! They didn't even get the job complete. They do not address your concerns, just simply clean the same time each time. The main concern are spots or neckline on dress shirts, they 100% do not know how to clean stains. The owner basically told to treat my collars before bringing them..... ? Isn't that why we use cleaners? read more

Very expensive for very average service. I went to the location 3 times - they were always "running behind" so my order would take more days than typical. The service itself was fine, everything was clean and properly pressed . But you pay about 20% more then the other local cleaners who also do a ice job (and get it done quicker) read more

I have been following them since their days in the Frisco location. When I found out that the location by where I live closed, I decided to tote what I needed cleaned to Prosper. I always feel at ease leaving and knowing my items are thoroughly washed and clean! :) They did remember my last name when I picked my order up recently, and that is a plus! Not only were they $20 higher than the nice people by CVS for my coat, but it isn't even cleaned great. Plus they don't fix buttons so I still had to take it to other cleaners that does buttons on coats for $2.00. My first clue should have been when the lady was far less than friendly. A mistake that won't happen again. read more

Do not go hear! Drive to Frisco or McKinney! Twice have lost shirts and had to wait while he looked for them. Need did he apologize for making me wait. Last time got shirt back with stain when confronted he said i left red paper ad ruined all clothes with shirt... Caution...take time to read the hidden reviews. Plus have you noticed the 2 positive reviews are from Plano & Frisco? Who drives from Plano or Frisco to take their clothes to the cleaners. I have tried this place 3-4 times but I am officially done. They are not friendly and seem not to care if you take your clothes there...probably because they are the only cleaners in town...for now. They always find a way to over charge you like last week when they charged me $3.50 to launder my sons shirt because "it was too small to fit on the press so they had to do it by hand." It was an adult medium shirt and would not fit on their press? Their quality is mediocre at best and it is worth a little drive to find a better place. I am going to try Celina. read more

This is the WORST PLACE you can take your cleaning! My husband dropped off a work smock to be pressed and starched. When he returned to pick it up they had pressed the front completely wrong and had not used any starch. He was charged $8 for them doing a horrendous job and when he complained the owner was completely rude. He told my husband that he didn't know how to do his job so he didn't have the right to complain. I have always had great service and felt my clothes were well taken care of. If I have a spot that I need addressed, I show them specifically and if I know what caused the spot, I tell them so they can use the best treatment. I've had buttons replaced, minor alterations, and other repairs that were all expertly done. So, I have been pleased. They have always been friendly to me, as well. Their prices are right in line with most other cleaners I've used (so I don't understand the $$$$ rating). Also, they have always met their "promised" date/time. Great business! read more

We used this cleaners for 3 years. It's the only one here in Prosper. We became used to replacing buttons, but when they ripped my comforter it was over! The comforter couldn't be sewn where it was ripped & I found a discounted replacement, but they decided to just stitch it up. It was horrible. Couldn't be used on the guest bedroom again. When I asked the manager if this was worth loosing our business he agreed. Never take anything here that you are not willing to throw away! read more

Terrible!!!! When you go for the first time it's all good, Make sure you start checking your receive,because they will start charging you more than they are suppose to. They start with $1.99 per shirt then they were charging me $2.37,so I ask why and his poor response was that my bottoms were "fancy" (regular Bottoms) and they need to charge more. I will never,never be back again!!!!!!!!! Also when you take the shirts they don't put the amount of shirts you dropping off on the receive. Don't walk, run to another cleaner. The 3rd time we used this cleaners they burnt one of my shirts. They will take no responsibility for destroying your clothes. Do not go there if you expect your clothes to be returned in the condition they were dropped off. The owners exact words were "You have only been here a couple of times, maybe another cleaner did this". By far the WORST dry cleaning experience I've ever had! They ruined my bedding and would NOT give me a refund for the damage they caused nor pay for what they ruined! Took my bedding by Pottery Barn, where it was purchased and the manager said in her 6 1/2yrs she has never seen anything like what this dry cleaner did. Also took it to a reputable cleaners in Frisco (who now has my business) and they said if that had happened in their store they would try to fix it and if not they would pay for a replacement! This is the worst experience in dry cleaning I have ever dealt with. The owner/manager argues with me about everything when I point out an issue. He treats his employees like crap in front of customers. Finally, I returned a pair of pants to have the inseam put back in since it came out after they had repaired it the first time. I nicely asked if they would fix it and he calls me screaming and berating me that they will not honor their work. I went back in and took my pants and told him what I thought of his service and treatment of his employees and he simply laughed. I live in Prosper and this is not the kind of place that needs to be in business here. Once Preston Rd expands and another dry cleaner comes in, then Prosperous Cleaners will be Broke Cleaners. Terrible customer service and overpriced. We now use Tulip Cleaners instead and have had a MUCH better experience there.

Charged us $18.99 to dry clean a pleated dress and did not get the makeup stain out then refused to refund anything. We were long time customers but not anymore. We will find a cleaners that cares about their customer service. read more
