I contacted them to organize florals for my wedding a little over a month before the wedding date…read more The staff were incredibly accommodating, communicative, and the flowers were gorgeous. They even accommodated the early start time of my wedding, and made sure that my brother could pick up the flowers very early day of.

This was my first time in the store since it changed owners from The Flower Box to Studio Full Bloom. I was excited because the atmosphere is still lovely and welcoming. While I was picking out my stems someone popped their head in to ask if there were any wreaths that were more fresh. The workers replied that all they had was out there. Then the person said that the wreaths were really dry and the response they received was that this is a natural thing with live wreaths. Here I want to point something out that we can all apply to our daily lives. In this case in retail... When someone draws your attention to something that isn't right there are a few simple steps that can go a long way to making it better. Firstly thank the person for drawing your attention to it. Perhaps explain why that may have happened. Definitely ensure them that this won't happen again and remedy the situation immediately. I just assumed the client was a picky pain in the ass but decided to go look for myself because I am super snoopy. The wreaths looked like they should be looking mid-late January. Not only were they dry but they were browning. The client told me they were over $100. I was surprised because these hadn't been lush lovelies but more along the line of Charlie Brown xmas style. Figuring that sucks for them I went back in to buy my stems... not even thinking that if those were $100... I picked out 4 stems. One snapdragon, one mini chrysanthemum, a damaged hypericum and anotherthat I don't know the name of but it wasn't one of the swooshy expensive ones (I am very familiar with which ones those are from when I just HAD to have them!). One of the stems had damage on it, which I assumed they would just throw in or at very least remove the damage... this didn't happen. The person wrapped them and they were over $30. I guess I just got used to my other florists who always offer to fill something like that out with some greenery or somesuch thing. This didn't happen either. What I walked away with were 4 stems of grocery store quality charged at Thomas Hobbs prices. I'll post a pic of the stems I bought and what I could have gotten at my grocery store for a similar price. Don't get me wrong... I am willing to pay more for merch from a florist than from a grocery store... I just expect more from the florist for that increased price whether it be in quality, quantity or service. Edit in response to Chelsea... The reason I re-posted is because I thought there was some sort of glitch as my previous posting didn't show up. I am sincerely sorry if you felt in any way that there was a threat in it or that the purpose of my review was to attack in any way. I simply was sharing what my experience was so others could decide where they want to take their business. Your response to me, however, is similar to your response to the person looking for the wreath. Instead of asking how to make things better you have decided to accuse me of threatening your business, misunderstanding dialogue that happened right in front of me or maliciously misrepresenting the facts. It was my intention to go to your store in the next few weeks and either remove this review or adjust it depending on my experience as I am the first to admit that we all have bad days. Between your response and you saying I am now unwelcome in your store I'm afraid you have convinced me that this wasn't a bad day at all and this is simply how you roll. Instead of understanding that I was trying to be helpful and explain what I expect in customer service you have decided to accuse me of telling you what to do? Wow. I have moved from unsure to actively encouraging people to shop elsewhere.
