I would like to take a moment to say that I saw doctor Morelo at Pro Smiles Dental today and she is fantastic as is her assistant, Shabnam! The front desk receptionist, Lena and Office Manager, Shoba are wonderful and helped me so much with my insurance and planning. Do not recommend, at all. First experience should've been a red flag. The dental assistant had me rinse my mouth with pure hydrogen peroxide. My mouth was foaming, it was nauseating. Turns out you are supposed to dilute it with water... I then got a root canal done, and they were supposed to call me to schedule me for a crown, I received zero follow up for MONTHS. The root canal failed & they suggested i retreat it. ANOTHER $1000 down the drain. Also zero follow up after the crown request was sent to insurance, once again. Just bad customer service by some of front desk & pricier than other places. read more

Worst dental experience I've ever had in my life! I have quite a bit of cavities so I've been going to the dentist for fill ins for a while now. I just moved to Naperville and this location is 4mins from my house. Went in for an exam and was told I needed a few fill ins. Got a fill in done on the back of my left front tooth and the dentist left me with a gap! When I told them I was not satisfied she told me to come in to see what she can do. When I went back she told me that this gap in the front of my teeth was already there before she filled in the cavity which was a lie. I paid $5000 for braces so I know I didn't have a gap in the front of my mouth! Went back in to see their other dentist for a second opinion and this dentist looked at my X-rays and told me this gap was already there and the only way to close it was to get veneers. I pulled up pictures of my teeth in my phone before I originally came in to see them and asked her do you see a gap in my mouth on any of these pictures? No because it was never one there! She looked me dead in my face and said she couldn't tell because the pictures were blurry. Like be f*cking fr! The pictures were not blurry you guys messed up my front teeth and now I'm going to have to pay $5000 out of pocket AGAIN for braces to fix something you guys did or pay double that amount for veneers. This has really lowered my self esteem as my teeth were beautiful before I came to them. Yes I have cavities but my teeth were straight and perfect before I came to this dentist. I've attached pictures of my teeth before having braces, during braces, and after I let them fill in a cavity. As you can see in the pictures there's not a gap between my teeth in none of the pictures except the one after I let them fill in a cavity! read more

I went in for an appointment recently at Pro Smiles Dental, Naperville, and again I had to wait. This time, I waited 35 minutes to see the dentist. This is not the first time either. I have had to wait almost every time I go in. I had to wait 45 minutes once. I did get in once in less than 10 minutes (which is reasonable), but that was only once in about 8 visits this year. I have only one day off and have to schedule all my appointments and errands on that day. Waiting for the dentist makes me late for other appointments. I have been to many dentists in my lifetime and have never had to wait like I do at Pro Smiles. I talked to the dentist about it and she basically said she has no control over it. But she actually does. She owns the business and they purposely overbook their appointments. She works 2-3 patients at once and so she gets behind of course. The Almighty Dollar rules here, not the patient's comfort and time. I am tired of always waiting (the patient does NOT come first as they would like you to believe). For this reason and a few others which I will not mention here, I think it's time to look for a new dentist. read more

This is the first dentist that has made me comfortable with having work done on my teeth. Every place else i go i had problems after getting work done. I have had some real bad experiences, and she has made all that go away. everything she did she made sure that I was okay. read more

Traci and Lina were so helpful, Amir did a very good job and the doctor Ssheblak is a very sweet person who advised me what is the best for my teeth, she were very patient with me even do I speak a little English plus another assistant helped in Spanish when I don't understand something. Dr Shamil is by far the best dentist I have had in many years. He is professional, thorough, listened to my concerns, answered my questions, and has wonderful communication skills. If I could give negative stars I would. The first time I went was last week for inflammation in the back of my mouth. I thought food got caught behind my tooth and gums bc I have issues since I had my wisdom teeth removed. She looked in my mouth for two seconds and said yep it looks inflamed as if I didn't already know that she told me to just floss and didn't offer to flush the area I had to ask her to. Not to mention my appointment was at 11am and I went back at almost 12. I gave them the benefit of the doubt knowing sometimes appointments get backed up and run late. Today was an issue. I went for a simple teeth cleaning. Dr. Babbars mannerism was unprofessional and rude. As she was scrapping plaque she dug so hard she cut my gums and left a hole in between my bottom front teeth that is now visible when I smile and talk. The assistant at the start took 16 X-rays.... 16 and did not say once what they were for. At most I think I've had 4 done at once. The assistant Rowa was very polite however I felt like she did not know what she was doing. In the photos you can see a giant blister from the assistant polishing my teeth I said ow. She was not holding my lip up properly and was using the cleaning brush to scrape my lip. Now I'm stuck with a giant painful blister and missing gum between my teeth. The doctor also stated during the visit that I had cavities but did not tell me which teeth or show me where (like normal dentists do). She also did not offer to fill them or schedule an appointment to come back to get them filled. I have never experienced this kind of unprofessionalism or mistreatment before in a "professional" setting nor have I ever sustained an injury during a simple teeth cleaning. This experience has left this practice looking very questionable and I honestly question their credibility to their licenses and highly rated reviews left on here. I will never come back here nor recommend this place to anyone. read more

If I could give a lower rating than 1 star, I would. There's a reason they say "never trust a strip mall dentist". I am someone who hadn't been to the dentist since last required by school, and had FINALLY found a place my insurance accepted. My first warning sign was merely walking in the front door, where I was greeted with a stench of sewer. I announced myself at the front desk, stating that I had arrived for my appointment which was to be an examination to have my wisdom teeth removed. When I said this, the lady informed me that "they don't do that at our location, you're probably just here for a cleaning". I told her to double check, as I had previously spoke on the phone with a staff member stating they could. Low and behold, she confirmed I was correct. At this point I should've just walked my happy self back out the front door, but instead followed her into the back room. Here I am greeted by an assistant and the dentist herself to begin my examination. Upon completion, I am told that I have cavities, and that we wouldn't be able to move forward until they did fillings. I informed them that I was well aware of my cavities, but I booked this appointment specifically for my wisdom teeth as they were causing me immense pain and trouble, vs. my cavities that other than being visibly present, I wouldn't know were there. Feeling this was my only option to finally get some help, I cave, and thus the fillings begin. They then decide to tell me that they indeed don't do wisdom tooth extraction at their location, but that they could do a referral to one of their oral surgeons. NONE of which my insurance accepted. To this day I can no longer eat anything hot or cold. The sensitivity in my mouth is unnerving, and my wisdom teeth are STILL in place. Here I was excited, thinking I could finally move forward with my dental health, only to take one baby shuffle forward and 5 steps back. I'm in worse shape now than I was prior to walking in.
