Ever walked by your dryer and smelled burning toast? Is it suddenly getting super hot inside, cooking your clothes? If you're thinking "dryer lint build up," you're on the right track. Time to call Proskill and our favorite HVAC pro, Karl, to see what was what. I had no idea where the dryer vent even came out, though. The side of the building? The roof? Well, I needn't have worried as Karl knew exactly what to do. He got out his trusty "Lego" brush system (they hook in a linking line), and went up and up...and up...and up. What came out? See for yourself. Twelve year's worth of compacted, ancient lint, a whopping half pound by Karl's estimation. Yikes. So, mystery solved, dryer saved, and no threat of future lint fires. You came through again, Proskill, and Karl can retain his crown as Tech Extraordinaire. Smart guy. I raise my basket of clothes and say, this load's for you! read more

They replace all filters etc. Today i had my attic re-insulated . 2 weeks ago Chad came to give me an estimate took many photos. It was obvious that it was necessary to re-insulate. This morning ( they were right on time as said) Nick and Greg came did an amazing job , cleaned up perfectly and were very polite. Everyone ProSkill has ever sent has been competent, knowledgeable, professional and polite. They are excellent in their pricing as well. Have no doubt, if you need any home sevices..... This is by far the the most professional group of HVAC, Plumbing and ancillary services companies ever. Have had them perform a long list of different services now over several years. The consistency and professionalism of each interaction is impressive. Every aspect from onsite quote prep, communication every step of the way, never wondering if someone is going to show up or when, all their employees are pleasant clean cut clear communicators. Photos are taken of everything before and after. Also, no surprises. 2 most recent projects were great examples. )1) water heater wouldn't reignite after being gone on vacation. We have a very old water heater. However, have a very good water system and turned out the water heater had zero rust when drained. I suspect most other plumbers would have said we need a new water heater. But they were honest and said probably only needed a new igniter. Then found out it just needed cleaning. Unheard of honesty. They are always a first call and preferred provider. 2) They proactively did a one year follow up on a new AC system. Asked them to look at a few other things. As always, professional, quick quote and fast service as promised at the price quoted. Jason the salesman is great, very prompt, clear and responsive to questions and scheduling. Has helped us on numerous projects now. The 2 people who performed the work were Karl and Chad. They were everything we have come to expect from Pro Skills. Professional, prompt, clear communication, cleaned up after their work and a pleasure to interact with. read more

Our 24 yr old HVAC decided to stop working over the Memorial Day weekend. A friend and neighbor recommended ProSkill. I sent them a message and received a call back the same day. Jason Larson came out on Memorial Day and explained our options thoroughly . They had a great. Financing options and we selected the 5 Ton Variable Speed Trane which qualified for all the rebates and tax credits. We got everything ordered and the financing completed in the one visit and our new HVAC was professionally installed the very next day! The installers even took the time to paint the area where the thermostat was replaced and the attic hatch! The HVAC came with a 12 year warranty and Proskill will service it twice a year for the first 2 years free of charge. So happy with the referral and the service. read more

They will rob you! Their installation was very sloppy and had insulation blowing all over the house. Had to have our vents cleaned and still having a problem. Most likely they punctured a hole in a vent. You'd be wise to steer clear! read more

Fan motor on my ac unit burned out. It was a warranty part but shipping was taking too long,(it was hot). Proskill went out of their way to get the part locally and cut the wait so that we could get cooled down. Price was reasonable and the service was good. read more

Joe came out and tried to help us find a leak from one of my mom's bathrooms. It has happened before and it was from the guest bathroom. He looked behind the shower hardware and could see any leaks. Peaked in the attic to see if there was any plumbing pipes which there weren't. He couldn't find anything. My husband will have to make a hole in the wall and we can assess and then have them come back out to see what is hiding. He was friendly, professional and wore booties taking them on and off as he came in and out. Will be calling them back once the hole is made. We need to take some extra mold protection during the process and make sure my mom isn't home. read more

I just had ProSkill replace my water softener. They offered me a fair price and scheduled the installation within days of me getting the quote. Besides having this company install two new HVAC systems in my home I have had the pleasure of dealing with several of their employees from installation to service calls. I have yet to meet an employee that was not only knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and willing to work with me on any problems found. I have referred this company to my friends, son and will continue to use them when I downsize and move again next month to check my current system then. Want an honest company? Here you have one that is also affordable and honest. Jason Larson, their estimator will work with your budget and get you the best deal. read more

Great experience. Above and beyond service. New water heater installed. Tech was smart, kind and professional.

Best company in the area. Had a backed up plumbing issue, Aaron came out within an hour and fixed the issue right away. Honesty and the best service every time. read more

They came out to change filters and service. My system was working worse than it was before, after they were finished. I called and they sent a technician to check. He wanted to charge me a service charge to check things out. I said that was ridiculous because my system worked fine before they came to service. He said he would check the system. He said that I had a problem that he just happened to have a part for after telling me that my system was 25 years old. Then charged me $340 to change this part. I don't feel these people can be trusted. read more

Update 02/08/2021: Greg and the GM reached out over the weekend and had Greg come out in the morning today to take a courtesy look at my work (I installed a sink over the weekend myself). They helped fix a tiny barely dripping nuisance cold valve supply line and ensured everything was done properly as spoiler alert: I am not a plumber. They also made things right with the sink. I will chalk this up to a very green technician needing some coaching rather than an overall bad business. Still taking a star off for the initial encounter but the response warrants a 4 star rating. We could potentially do business in the future as long as experienced, seasoned techs come and do work here based on the service after the first experience. read more

The installation was perfect and the Technician/Cody had all the answers! I wondered why I should pay more $$ for a softener and he explained how the resin for the hard Arizona well water is a huge factor. The cost of installation was more than my water softener so that is another thing to consider. I wish I could have gotten more information from the person answering the phone initially. I was told the estimate would be free and it was! The chance to talk to the installation/technician before making a purchase and before installation could be priceless! Thank You read more

Regarding Leon G.: Last summer during the worst of the heat wave on a week-end my AC went out. Several AC service companies did not respond to my calls for help and several did but only to tell me my unit was beyond repair and the parts were not made anymore. They were there only to sell me a new unit. After contacting ProSkill they sent a technician right away, Leon G. He was truly a breath of fresh air. He examined the unit and had the parts to fix it. It was a comfort to know I could trust a company while being in such dire straits . He fixed my AC and advised me of parts I would most likely need repair in the near future. I called ProSkill back for a maintenance by Leon G. this spring and felt comfortable with discussing a new unit with him and Jake who was also very helpful. So great to have a company to trust for these kinds of decisions! Thank you Leon and Jake. Look forward to your doing maintenance in the future. I would also like to thank Cezar H. who headed the crew who just installed by new unit. Very Professional and hard working. Most grateful for the patience while instructing me on the new high tech. thermostat. Cezar is very knowledgeable and was able to answer all questions. read more

We decided to go with ProSkill for our AC replacement after receiving bids from several different local companies. Based on our interaction with ProSkill and their commitment to customer satisfaction, we decided to go with them for our 4 ton Trane XV18i unit. The installation went smoothly and they were able to complete all the work in one day and add the duct run that we requested. Over all, we are very satisfied with the work and the function of the unit. We'd be coming back for our AC needs. read more

I had the unfortunate luck of having both AC units break in the middle of Arizona heat wave above 110 degrees late Saturday night. I must've called around half dozen places on Sunday but they were all booked 3 days out. When I called Proskill Services, not only did they have opening, they said they will be over in 2 hours. The technician, Julio arrived half hour early too. Needless to say, I was very impressed already. Julio fixed one AC, but had to order a part for my second unit. He came the very next day and repaired the second unit. My AC is running smoothly now and it's much quieter too. Julio was very courteous, friendly and professional. Highly highly recommend Proskill Services. read more

I have used Proskill since I moved to Anthem several years ago. Several weeks ago I scheduled an RO filter change as well as an air conditioner check. They told me both would be done at the same time. Received text to confirm. The other day I received a call that the appointment was being changed for later in the day. Yesterday I received 2 different emails a few minutes apart. One was confirming the original appointment for the morning, while the other was confirming the later afternoon appointment. Well. A technician did arrive at the originally scheduled time, however only to do the RO system, not the air check. Even though I was told both could be done at the same time. Now, this afternoon while waiting, during the window for scheduled air check, I receive a call to reschedule for Monday. This is very disappointing and inconvenient. I waited around all afternoon because the original appointment was changed, only to have it canceled. Believe it or not, there were other errands I could have been attending to. read more

We called ProSkill because our Home Warranty company chose a vendor who was 2 days out on coming to fix our AC after they fixed it a couple days previous and it failed again. It's summer in Phx and temps over 100 and they said they couldn't come for 2 more days. So we called ProSkill, and they dispatched a tech immediately, and he arrived within 30 minutes! Richard was professional and courteous and got us back up and running in minutes. He was thorough and did a system inspection as well. He fixed the issue, which was caused by carelessness from the previous company. read more

Don't waste your time with this place! Their prices are absolutely outrageous! They don't have technicians any longer, they just try to sell you overpriced new units. Quoted me $6k higher than 3 other bids I received for a new AC split system. The sales person was very arrogant and even laughed at me when I questioned his pricing. Used to be a good local Anthem company, now they just try to rip you off. read more

ProSkill installed a Trane AC in our home. ProSkill has the best warranty. In addition to the great warranty from Trane, they gave us a 12 year labor warranty. The job description was 4 pages of details on all that would be done. The installers were highly knowledgeable and attentive to any questions or concerns we had. They were very careful to clean up well and even painted the attic access panel when they were done. The technicians made sure the thermostat was added to our phone so any changes to temperature could even be made remotely. Highly satisfied with this company, the products they sell and the service they provide. read more

We paid $2900 for replacement of a 50 gas water heater. I feel that is WAY too expensive. Of course you don't get hot water until its fixed. They came fast, and did a good job, but I think that cost is too much. We will NOT be using them again. read more

It was time for me to find an air conditioning company that was local, responsive and available. Proskill met all of my needs. I had a wiring issue when installing a Google Nest thermostat.
