Over the years we have used ProSkill. Had our air conditioning units completely replaced by them. Have a maintenance contract with them. They replace all filters etc. Today i had my attic re-insulated . 2 weeks ago Chad came to give me an estimate took many photos. It was obvious that it was necessary to re-insulate. This morning ( they were right on time as said) Nick and Greg came did an amazing job , cleaned up perfectly and were very polite. They will rob you! Their installation was very sloppy and had insulation blowing all over the house. Had to have our vents cleaned and still having a problem. Most likely they punctured a hole in a vent. You'd be wise to steer clear! read more

This is by far the the most professional group of HVAC, Plumbing and ancillary services companies ever. Have had them perform a long list of different services now over several years. The consistency and professionalism of each interaction is impressive. Every aspect from onsite quote prep, communication every step of the way, never wondering if someone is going to show up or when, all their employees are pleasant clean cut clear communicators. Photos are taken of everything before and after. Also, no surprises. 2 most recent projects were great examples. )1) water heater wouldn't reignite after being gone on vacation. We have a very old water heater. However, have a very good water system and turned out the water heater had zero rust when drained. I suspect most other plumbers would have said we need a new water heater. But they were honest and said probably only needed a new igniter. Then found out it just needed cleaning. Unheard of honesty. They are always a first call and preferred provider. 2) They proactively did a one year follow up on a new AC system. Asked them to look at a few other things. Joe came out and tried to help us find a leak from one of my mom's bathrooms. It has happened before and it was from the guest bathroom. He looked behind the shower hardware and could see any leaks. Peaked in the attic to see if there was any plumbing pipes which there weren't. He couldn't find anything. My husband will have to make a hole in the wall and we can assess and then have them come back out to see what is hiding. He was friendly, professional and wore booties taking them on and off as he came in and out. Will be calling them back once the hole is made. They came out to change filters and service. My system was working worse than it was before, after they were finished. I called and they sent a technician to check. He wanted to charge me a service charge to check things out. I said that was ridiculous because my system worked fine before they came to service. He said he would check the system. He said that I had a problem that he just happened to have a part for after telling me that my system was 25 years old. Then charged me $340 to change this part. I wondered why I should pay more $$ for a softener and he explained how the resin for the hard Arizona well water is a huge factor. Update 02/08/2021: Greg and the GM reached out over the weekend and had Greg come out in the morning today to take a courtesy look at my work (I installed a sink over the weekend myself). They helped fix a tiny barely dripping nuisance cold valve supply line and ensured everything was done properly as spoiler alert: I am not a plumber. They also made things right with the sink. I will chalk this up to a very green technician needing some coaching rather than an overall bad business. Still taking a star off for the initial encounter but the response warrants a 4 star rating. We could potentially do business in the future as long as experienced, seasoned techs come and do work here based on the service after the first experience. read more

Regarding Leon G.: Last summer during the worst of the heat wave on a week-end my AC went out. Several AC service companies did not respond to my calls for help and several did but only to tell me my unit was beyond repair and the parts were not made anymore. I have used Proskill since I moved to Anthem several years ago. Several weeks ago I scheduled an RO filter change as well as an air conditioner check. They told me both would be done at the same time. Received text to confirm. The other day I received a call that the appointment was being changed for later in the day. Yesterday I received 2 different emails a few minutes apart. One was confirming the original appointment for the morning, while the other was confirming the later afternoon appointment. Well. A technician did arrive at the originally scheduled time, however only to do the RO system, not the air check. Even though I was told both could be done at the same time. Now, this afternoon while waiting, during the window for scheduled air check, I receive a call to reschedule for Monday. This is very disappointing and inconvenient. I waited around all afternoon because the original appointment was changed, only to have it canceled. Believe it or not, there were other errands I could have been attending to. read more

I had the unfortunate luck of having both AC units break in the middle of Arizona heat wave above 110 degrees late Saturday night. I must've called around half dozen places on Sunday but they were all booked 3 days out. When I called Proskill Services, not only did they have opening, they said they will be over in 2 hours. The technician, Julio arrived half hour early too. Needless to say, I was very impressed already. Julio fixed one AC, but had to order a part for my second unit. He came the very next day and repaired the second unit. My AC is running smoothly now and it's much quieter too. Julio was very courteous, friendly and professional. We paid $2900 for replacement of a 50 gas water heater. I feel that is WAY too expensive. Of course you don't get hot water until its fixed. They came fast, and did a good job, but I think that cost is too much. We will NOT be using them again. read more

The job description was 4 pages of details on all that would be done. The installers were highly knowledgeable and attentive to any questions or concerns we had. They were very careful to clean up well and even painted the attic access panel when they were done. The technicians made sure the thermostat was added to our phone so any changes to temperature could even be made remotely. It was time for me to find an air conditioning company that was local, responsive and available. Proskill met all of my needs. I had a wiring issue when installing a Google Nest thermostat. Proskill quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem in the attic. Proskill has good communication and appointment reminders.
