I am sad to be making a review like this but I'll be honest about my experience given I had rated…read moreit a five stars before. So this is the 3rd time I tend to schedule an appointment with a specific person and at a certain time and every time I go I am paired with someone else. I would say it's fine but then I don't understand why on their website it would have me choose a specific person if they don't pay attention to that. Today I went in with a 9am appointment and once again didn't get the person I requested as they were working with someone else. I decided to continue with the person they placed. I picked a deep pink mauve color. When the person brings the color it's the one I selected on the chart yet when he puts the color on it's a yellow brown and I communicate is this the right color as it does not match the tag on the bottle either. The first coat looks yellow brown he insists it's the right color and I need to wait for more coats of color. I decided fine let me wait for the end result as he is done with all the coats. During the prep of my nails there are certain cuts he makes so I bleed obviously and still proceeds to use the nail paint brush even tho it just touched some blood which I thought wasn't sanitary for whoever will use that color next. As he applies the coats the color definite does not look like anything I picked. He takes some color off and reapplies the coats on several fingers and at this point my hands have been in and out of the machine like 8 times. Because of this I have some fingers that are not the same color. For example my ring finger looks darker brown and the rest yellow brown. Then by the end he tries fixing the end of where he applied nail polish and is way too harsh with the nail filer that he creates a cut. Over all my experience was not great and even tho I communicate the color wasn't it I just felt like there was no accommodation or realizing that yeah the bottle is labeled wrong.

The nail technicians are always so friendly and they take their time to provide a high quality service, whether you are getting a simple trim and buff or a full set of acrylics. They've also always been great with kids. I started brining my daughter here with me for mom and daughter dates when she was 3. Their pedicures are lifesaving for winter tired feet. Annie is my favorite technician currently. She is kind and friendly and really listens carefully to her customers. She also gives awesome hand and leg massages!

The spa is very modern and a relaxing oasis as soon as you walk in. The lockers were easy to use and the relaxation room has snacks and beverages to enjoy. I always get the cinnamon tea. It's delish. You can use the relaxation room before and after your treatments to extend your spa time even more.

I'm not sure why this location asked, because they didn't seem to follow anything I wrote. This was for my boyfriend's birthday and his name was not on the sign when we walked in, despite me listing that in the paperwork. In the past for my birthday, I have also gotten a card. But nothing here. My boyfriend also didn't want his feet touched and that was also listed in the paperwork. Unfortunately that was not followed. We were brought to our locker rooms and they were clean, had our names and chocolates in the lockers. Very nice touch! Our robe sizes and slides were also in our lockers. There is a large shower, 2 bathroom stalls and vanity with make up lighting. We then walked to the lobby area. This was where we started to have thoughts. Employees were talking in full volume. Not very relaxing. They also kept coming in and out of the room, talking, stocking snacks constantly! Again not very relaxing. The water was nice with a lemon. My boyfriend went to get water for hot tea but the water was room temp. Not very comforting. The massages were nice. I had Ingrid and she was lovely! She did a great job and was soft in speaking during the massage. My boyfriend said his massage therapist was talking at normal volume and didn't find it as relaxing. Afterwards we said in the lobby area again. In my opinion, the fireplace at maple grove is more welcoming and comforting. This place had what looked like a diffuser and eventually it turned off and started beeping. Again not relaxing. The lobby area is also larger at the maple grove location. This location left me a bit perplexed as to why the reviews are better here than at the maple grove location....

By Friday (2 days later) my nails were already starting to chip and crack. It is now Sunday (4 days later) and this is how they look. Usually a dip mail lasts anywhere from 3-4 weeks where I usually go. Very disappointed that I spend wya more than I usually do for nails that have lasted me 4 days. Also- forgot to add. The nails have been disintegrating off as well. They will chip and then continue to disintegrate (ex. The pointer finger in the first picture).

When i called the nail salon and explained my situation to the employees the lady completely dismissed all I had said and pretended the phone had hung up on its own. There is a clear line of unprofessionalism and lack of communication. I do not plan on returning back and I do advise considering before spending a penny here.
