I went with Tiffany she was highly recommeneded by a coworker and im totally in love with her work, she is amazing she gives me an accurate full set, im very anal about spacing between my cuticle and nail and she makes sure to leave no gaps, her filing is on point always even killer nails. I always get gel full set it's about $31.00 but totally worth it with two designs. The only thing I didnt like was that theirs a baby blue gel color I got and I think the nail polish sat by the sun and my nails look funny when in the sunlight or under any light, I dont blame the artist just that blue made my nail polish look weird, so stay away from the baby blues. read more

The pedicurist wasn't so great, too bad I can't remember her name. She was pretty rough and very rude. But the lady who did my full set was amazing! Everyone compliments my nails. Went and got manicures with my sister here. She got a full set, i just did gel. Hers were so horrible that before we even left the parking lot i had her go back and have them completely redo them, the lady doing them was talking shit to her the entire time. Mine looked great until 2 days later when gel just started peeling off. Worst part is they are cash only, there's no signs any where stating this and they don't tell you until you try to pay with card and they make you use the ATM that is inside of the salon. A week after using the ATM I had fraudulent charges on my debit card for sephora. This was the only place I had used my card all month so I know it had to have been from the ATM. read more

While In the area I decided to stop by for a quick touch up, I called and spoke to Holly (she was very polite) I asked if I could come in or appointment, she said to come in, I showed up and I was greeted immediately I sat down for about 10 min before walking out. Pros Nails is a hidden gem. Love this place! I lived in Bellflower for a year and I initially came to Pros Nails because it was ten minutes' walking distance from my apartment. While its proximity was what drew me to Pros Nails, the sweet and caring workers, their quality work, and low prices got me hooked! Seriously, did I say low prices? At Pros Nails, I could get a pedicure and a full set of acrylics (just color, no white tips, no designs, nothin fancy) for under $40. I brought my roommate here and she got a regular manicure (no fake nails) for something like $11. Soo affordable, but really high quality work! And as I mentioned, the staff is really nice. I tend to get ingrown toenails on my big toes, and the staff at Pros Nails always removed them for me at no extra cost. There was one time I walked in with an ingrown that had been in there for WAY too long, and my toe was swollen to the size of a grapefruit, and just a light touch hurt like crazy. Well, the staff went above and beyond to try to make this impromptu toenail surgery as painless as possible. There was one girl working as quickly as possible to remove the offending toenail, and two other girls were holding my hands to help me relax. I've been told I "radiate anxiety" when I'm nervous, but this didn't scare the amazing people at Pros Nails! They really are just awesome. When I moved out of Bellflower, I wanted to take them with me. :-p One note of caution is that this place IS in Bellflower, and it does have really low prices, so there are a lot of people who, to put things nicely, look like they're abusing the welfare system. During weekends, this salon seems to double as a daycare center, as women will come in for a pedicure and bring their four small children along with them. (This is not an exaggeration. People do actually walk in, quite regularly, with a ton of little rugrats trailing in behind them.) There are sometimes very loud, crude, rude women who come in to get their nails done and nitpick at everything the technicians do, and create needless tension for everyone in the room, but this isn't as common. Overall, Pros Nails is a great place to get an awesome mani/pedi for a low cost, just don't expect it to be a quiet, relaxing experience. :) read more
