It was our first major renovation, and there was a learning curve for us on how a job like this gets done. Steve was patient and offered useful guidance as we planned our renovation. Now, the bathroom may just be the nicest room in our home. Steve does high quality work and takes pride in it. He doesn't cut corners, and will go the extra mile to ensure a quality result. His skill impressed our building's handyman and super, both of whom sought me out particularly to tell me how much they liked working with Steve, and how good a job he had done. We are extremely satisfied. If we need renovations in the future, we will be using NYC Euro Interiors.

The young guy with an accent who was arrogant and had a bit of an attitude, showed up…read morelate than the time given first off, he came over to look at our bathroom sink since it has been clogged for awhile and it is the 2nd time it's been clogged in the same year. he snaked it (which we already did ourselves and told him that) still nothing (fyi we tried everything already, from home remedies to "drano", nothing).. Then he said we needed to change the pipes and faucet. he went to Home Depot to get new pipes and faucet which was extra on our bill. he changed them (he kept our old ones by the way, which WE should have kept since they were ours, the jerk didn't even ask. he probably took them to sell them since they don't make them like that anymore)...in the end he didn't clean up, when I said "you're just going to leave this mess??" the a55whole answered "I have an appointment I am late for" we got charged an OUTRAGEOUS AMOUNT!! AND a few months later the sink was clogged AGAIN! WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY CALLING "Innovative renovations" was!! How do they sleep at night conning people!??! We don't wash our hair in the sink (never have) nor shave, we have a "mesh type net thingy" in the drain area, to catch anything that can go down the drain, so there is NOTHING to clog it. That so-called "plumber" did not fix the problem at all! We called someone else. 2 professionals came (more mature and experienced) very polite, on time and right away said "Already I can see you have the wrong type of pipe installed there.." (he told us the name of it but I forgot the name) he asked "who put that there? It looks new" we told them some idiot from "innovative renovations" did and they laughed, one of the guys, actually cupped his face and shook his head and said "Oh yes I've actually heard complaints about them! I don't know how they're in business still." I told him what the previous moron did and he said "Did he at least snake the pipe IN the wall?" I said nope. The new guys from "Parkset Plumbing Co. Inc." They did a much better job, they put the right pipe in, they were there for 2 hours, did what the guy from this company didn't do AND they cleaned up after themselves, because THAT's what a professional does! Also I was charged less than what con charged us previously. It's been several months later and no clogging still!

I'd always been told that kitchen renovations were the toughest. We had already lived in the…read moreapartment during two separate bathroom renovations. It was time to find a new general contractor. We found that interviewing contractors for the job was stressful: costs were not disclosed up front and none gave us the feeling that we could trust them to deal with us fairly. So, it turned out to be a welcome pleasure to deal with Broadway Kitchen and Bath's owner, Jeff Chinman. From the beginning, he was honest and forthcoming about all aspects of the renovation. He really is a gem: a NYC vendor for many years who really has the customer's best interests in mind. While the showroom is unimpressive, it turns out that everything ordered through them turned out to be of good quality and reasonably priced. As various unexpected expenses were incurred, additional charges were also handled in a fair manner. At times when another contractor might have taken the easy way out on some aspect of the job, we found that Jeff would listen to our concerns and would try to find a solution that would satisfy us. No cutting corners! The two associates who were assigned to our job were terrific: Jimmy and Oscar. They managed to be as unobtrusive as they could be (e.g., cutting wood out on our balcony even in the bitter cold to minimize dust and noise). Would I hire them again? YES, absolutely. Did they meet expectations? YES, over and above.

I'm submitting this…read morereview many years later because for one thing when I tried to leave feedback when the work was done it was somehow removed from another site, and most importantly because we are now looking for help to fix the issues Pat and crew created for us. Amusingly I left this review on another site recently and Pezzello has disappeared from that site meaning my review went with them! What are they hiding from?? Our biggest current issue is our leaking roof and the quality of the job Pezzello provided. Every contractor who has come to see our roof to estimate the cost to repair is shocked at how bad it was done and the state it is in after only 13 years. The wood is rotting and potentially growing mold in places. It sagged even soon after it was completed, and has not gotten any better over the years. The siding was wavy from the day they installed it and is loose in multiple areas on our attic because there are no walls for it to adhere to. They never installed plywood walls so there are many large holes in drywall due to them trying to nail the siding into the drywall only. Two of the new windows they installed broke in half nearly immediately after they left. Calls to replace them went unanswered. They installed a front door without staining it and when we asked why they said it was never part of the job. We had to hire a 3rd party to stain it after it was hung so it was never done properly. Gaps were left between the new door and our tile as well as around a new set of steps that were installed. Most of this I attribute to the Pezzello team just rushing through the work. No attention was paid to details. No care put into the work performed. As a result we're left needing to have another contractor come in and fix the mistakes for additional money. For this reason I am giving a single star for value. I don't care how good their price was 13 years ago if I need to be charged again to do it right. One star for customer service because as I said, they ignored our calls and didn't fix the obviously broken windows. One star for work quality because the majority of what they did needs to be fixed again. I would not describe that as quality. I regret having work done by Pezzello, and I would advise others to avoid them based on my long-term experience with the work they provided and did not stand behind.

At the same time, a kitchen and a bathroom downstairs. The workmanship was impeccable. They worked clean and efficiently. Excellent communication. Creative ideas. I used their architect as well. He was awesome and I felt comfortable that they have worked together before, so they were, we all were, on the same page. Pat stands behind his work. He take pride in his work and his name and it's evident from the before and after pictures. A year, or so ago, we added a garage with a room above attached to our home. It could have looked like an afterthought. We're on a busy corner. But it's in style of our home and resembles a carriage house. Never a call back or a problem. Super professional. Exceptional quality work and value. More than fair price for what He puts forward. I had some hidden issues that he addressed, instead of covering up. Was fortunate to find them. I highly recommend to anyone. Extremely impressed. Can't say enough good about them. Excellent experiences, both times.
