I asked the attendant how much is would cost me if I brought in a 30 gal tank and they only put 1 gal in and she said $30 because they charge based on the size of the tank. They are a complete rip off. No way would I recommend this place to anyone.

Ours is for the outdoor grill. So I noticed from the receipts I kept and called about it and they ended up giving us back the difference. If you don't pay attention and are like my husband and don't ask, you will never know the facts and you will end up spending more for less. Glad I kept receipt. Update: 2/26/18 I was charged $15 to refill our small BBQ butane tank. It lasts us awhile too. Good to know that most places only fill these half way. I love how they check the weight to ensure it's full. Very friendly staff. Can't wait to get the added perk from my punch card. We only go here to get our refills.

The owner, Jennifer Martin, said they were not returnable. BUT she was so kind as to keep them and said she'd work out something with the owners (she is actually the owner U-Haul said but they are inveterate liars there at Skillman Storage). Long story short: she said she got the approval for a refund and said she had processed it. Well, she had not. So she kept the merchandise and also the money. They are thieves. When I found out what happened, she first said U-Haul screwed up and she'd look into it. Now, she keeps saying she's going to refund the money and even said she sent a check. Nope, never got it. Avoid this place. You just never know if they're going to overcharge your credit card and you'll be out of the area to do anything about it. Their BBB ratings are bad, too. And she wouldn't respond to my complaint through them. Avoid.
