I think this is a great service for them to come pick up your empty and leave a full tank. It doesn't get any better than than. If you need it right now, then go to your favorite Vendor and swap one out but if not then let your fingers do the walking. A really great service read more

About five years ago, I used Propane Taxi and the price seemed fair considering the convenience. The third tank they brought did not work. I have two or three tanks from old grills, so I just took another one to a place near my house and had it filled. The inoperable Propane Taxi one popped up when I started cleaning out my shed, Thankfully I remembered it was full or I would have wrenched my back. I brought it in to the garage and called Propane Taxi and asked Sonya if there was some place in Dallas I could take their inoperable full tank to. She was not in Dallas. She assured me she would call me back even if it was "bad." Now I regret giving my two "extra" tanks to my son in law. I have the one tank on the grill that is about to go out and the super heavy Propane Taxi tank that I don't know where to drop it off. Help me Propane Taxi. read more

They recently advertised on FB to bring you a tank for $10. Great deal right, usually $20 or so. It came half full. A tank should weigh 37 lbs filled, mine weighed 28.5. The tank is 20 lbs, so I got 8.5 lbs of product vs 17 promised. They have also banned me from commenting on their facebook posts. This is a highly deceitful company that does not deserve your business Update... I finally used the tank, It developed a leak after the first use. Now empty 2 days later. I gave these people $10 so I could cook 2 chicken breast. read more

Placed an order for two tanks swapped out. Their website says they deliver from "dawn til dusk". Their driver called at 8:45 PM to tell me he was still on his way. I told him not to worry about it. "Dusk" was a few hours ago and I was settled in for the evening. read more

I thought I'd give this conpany a shot due to convenience and boy was I disappointed. My first, and only, delivery was $10 which I thought was the beginning of a great service I could leverage when I needed a refill. I'm on day 21 waiting for a response from Propane Taxi as I was given the wrong tank connection. I don't even want a refund, I just want a tank with the correct connection! Website says same day email response but i guess they are 21 days backed up. read more

You just can't trust a company that's dishonest and doesn't hold itself accountable when they do things wrong. Do not trust them!

In the beginning, the concept was awesome and delivery service was convenient with competitive pricing. Not so much now, service is a bit shady and pricing is bit more expensive. We took advantage of an advertised April special. On line scheduling and delivery was great and very was fast. When we received the replacement tank it felt light(er) than it should have been if it was filled properly. So we used our scale and weighed it. As suspected, we received a half filled tank. It weighed 19 pounds, tank and gas, which meant we did not receive a filled tank. We contacted customer service at the email given and indicated that an empty switched tank was given and the tank was on bad shape. Customer service's response was extremely defensive only indicated it used precise meathods to refill 15 lbs of gas in each of its tanks. Again, the new tank's total weight was only 19 lbs. So, instead of replacing the tank, we were sent an email indicating it was picking up the tank. read more

Very nice service. My friend told me about it so I decided to try it. All I had to do was put my empty tank outside and when I got home from work there was a full tank ready for me to start grilling. My dad loved to grill so I'll be telling him to try these guys out. read more

Used propane taxi for my the second time. First time was great. Second tank was never used and unsealed leaked. Came home n after being out of town for 10 days and spelled gas which I followed to the used/sealed tank which was now more than half empty. Called thecampand and told that the tank does not leak. Company did not seem to have a major concern and no since of urgency in picking up a leaking propane tank. They sceduled a pick up and still did not show up! Will see what happens on the second scheduled pickup. This is dangerous and theydo not have to worry about me as a customer. BEWARE, WHO NEEDS A LEAKING PROPANE TANK AROUND THEIR HOUSE!!!!!!
