4:55 - Arrived on Sunday 2/4, unloaded two 5lb tanks and stood in line. 4:58 - "Hey! We cut off at 5:00." 5:02 - When he finished with he customer he was serving, I said, "Sure you don't have time to fill these last two ()?" "No. All done. Got to shut it down." 5:05 - Loaded and in my car, I reflected that it had taken just 4 minutes for them to lose a repeat customer. Considered complaining,, but my time was better spent locating another provider. Management/Ownership won't notice the missing $450-$500 a month they will no longer see from my refills, nor the needed hitch install work planned, which will go to someone else. Don't come here for anything. We dropped off our car around 1pm to get wiring done for the hitch they close at 7pm and they were supposed to call when they were done and they never did. Customer service couldn't reach them or the GM of the store either. Everyone in that store and the GM needs to be fired asap. Ridiculous! I needed a U-Haul box to hold some large appliances while I got the floors in my house renovated. I called and explained the situation and they set up the reservation. Here is what could have gone better: 1. I explained that the renovations would occur over the weekend and that I was arranging movers through U-Haul. I paid U-Haul to pay the movers to bring the boxes, load them and take them to U-Haul for storage over the weekend. I was not told that there was a separate charge to have them bring the boxes back. Not a fun surprise. 2. The boxes I received were missing the protective furniture blankets and my furniture was scuffed because I didn't have any on hand because I was told they would be provided. 3. The reservations were a mess. The movers were not told that my reservation had been moved to another U-Haul center and they spent an hour driving around to get the boxes. Also, for the return reservation, the U-Haul center did not have my boxes ready for pickup and the movers waited 2.5 hours for the boxes to be pulled and set out for them. The value is great, but I would rather pay more for better service. This is U-Haul, they're supposed to be the experts. read more

Worse experience... I feel like they did not check the truck before ensuring my safety and care was first. The truck is having mechanical issues (Jerking when braking... as if it's accelerating while trying to slow down; ALSO NO AIR CONDITIONING it was blowing hot air out) I call immediately as I felt the acceleration during my hesitation to drive this 15' Moving truck. I'm sorry Chedrick Franklin GENERAL MANAGER but turning around (To swoop trucks) at the HALF WAY mark of my destination during a RUSH of DALLAS, TEXAS was a very unethical solution and uncalled for. arrived at location and asked for help to fill up 3 propane tanks counter lady told me manager Ross Rippy was the one qualified to fill them up parked and waited outside by propane station 40 minutes and manger never came to help. I saw that he did see I was there but ignored that I was waiting. finally after 40 minutes of waiting Andre finell comes in to work his shift and helps me right away . Andre provides me the best service since I was waiting over 40 minutes while the manager ignored that I was there waiting . I believe service should be a priority and Andre did a great job and got my tanks full and checked out I am a regular customer and had never had the great service that Andre provided to me will definitely come back and look for Andre for service read more

Propane refills are really hit or miss with this place. The guy that does it is really moody and if he's having a bad day he might not refill your tank. Don't waste your time. read more

Dropped my trailer off 2 hours before it was due and just got an email saying I never returned my equipment. Super irritated with this location as they have yet to answer the phone. On top of that, I also rented a utility dolly and never received it or got refunded for it. Do. Or choose this location for pick up or drop off. read more

Very slow and customer service is represented by people unable to even stand to help you. Unless you want to be totally ignored, absolutely don't try to get propane. Refilling is definitely better than swapping, but avoid Uhaul. read more

Been coming here for a little while, but I'm done. The worst customer service anywhere. I stand around for ever waiting for help, and employees walk by me like they are on a 24 hour lunch break. The final straw is I went to get propane and after calling the main number I was told they are open and have plenty of propane. When I got there, after standing around for a while I started to leave and a guy said, come back at 2:00 for propane. Not what the lady on the phone said, but whatever. I came back at 2:30 and nobody around again. I walked to the office and the woman behind the counter said, no propane today. What?? This place is just run terribly. read more

Do not go here for propane tank refills. Been here twice in the last three months and have been shut out both times. The first time, someone had screwed up the main tank and no one new how to fix it. The second time, they said the guy who does it left to go "somewhere" and "didn't know" when they would be back. Screw this place. read more

GO TO A DIFFERENT FACILITY. DO NOT USE THIS UHAL LOCATION. I tried to reach this location MULTIPLE times over several days before posting a review, but they ignored my calls. I don't recommend anyone use this location to rent a UHAUL. They are refusing to accept any sort of responsibility for their mistakes and inefficiencies that caused the pick-up process to take 1.5 hours (longer than I even used the truck for). We woke up the morning of our rental to find out that they had switched pick up locations on us out of nowhere. That was the start of the worst UHAUL experience ever. We made it to the new pickup location and spent more time trying to get the truck than the amount of time we actually used the rental. This included going back and forth with employees at the location about parking which ultimately resulted in having to park at a police station a 10 minute walk away. Once back at the location after a 30 minute parking fiasco where everyone was disagreeing on where I could park my car, I made it in line to pick up the UHAUL that I had reserved online and completed the online check in for. I had to re-do the check in process and eventually was given the code to the lock box that supposedly had the key to the truck inside. Surprise, there was no key in the box. Now time to get back in line and wait my turn again. Luckily, the manager noticed and he came over to help me. I eventually got the missing key and went to the truck only to find that it didn't start. The battery was dead! Now, time to get back in line for a 3rd time... I eventually received the proper keys to a truck that turned on. All that to say that I spent almost 1.5 hours picking up a rental truck that I used for 1 hour. I called and filed a formal complaint but it turns out UHAUL doesn't offer any sort of customer protection and you have to take it up with the location itself. Seeing how this is a very poorly run location, I'm not surprised that they're ignoring my calls and not offering a refund of any kind for this horrible experience (including the extra miles that I was charged for because they changed the location on me at the last minute). It's important to note that since UHAUL doesn't offer any sort of protection, these location-specific reviews are essential to deciding which one to select. It is very frustrating that a company that directs all of their phone calls to a general hotline then doesn't accept responsibility for issues with their locations, but it is what it is I guess. read more

Smooth experience renting a van. Easy to do it online, service was quick when we showed up. Staff was helpful. The van itself was really big and easy to load a couch and chair in. When negative was the cab of the van smelled really bad. read more

I rented the U-Haul truck to move my furniture, etc. from my storage facility to my new apartment. When I got to my storage facility immediately after leaving the U-Haul facility. There was a power outage at the storeage so I was unable to access my unit. After being gone less than 30 mins from the uhaul facility I drove directly back and explained the situation to the uhaul mngr. expecting understand and hoping to come to another arrangement, but there was none. He was cold and showed no empathy whatsoever. I was charged the full rental along with the price of the dollies, extra insurance I had purchased that I had included in my rental. I'm very disappointed in the c/s the manager/asst. mngr showed. I even called uhaul directly, but I was told its out of their hands and at the discretion of the mngr on whether or not they can do anything. I am very unhappy with the truck rental and the storage unit I purchased. I rented the storage unit under the impression that it had 24 access. I tried to go unload the truck into the storage unit last night and was locked out which resulted in another day of rental charges. The General Manager came out and informed me that I did not have access after 7pm. He also seemed annoyed with me and was a little rude. read more

I rented their largest moving van to help move my mother from one house to another. I took care of most of the arrangements online, including the reservation. The staff was very professional and accommodating. Moving is a stressful time, and it's easy to be on a short fuse without even realizing you're snapping at people. I wasn't very pleasant when I walked in and they seemed to not understand what my gift voucher was for. When I called their toll free # to clear up some things on my online order, the woman on the phone said I couldn't use my mom's credit card to rent the car w/o her there. My mom is elderly and disabled - and to have to drag her and her wheelchair to U-Haul to do this move was beyond stupid. The woman on the phone told me I could use her card to buy a voucher online - then use the code in the store. When I got to the store, they initially said I couldn't use it - over $300, non-refundable charge on my mom's card. I went into orbit - and it wasn't a small orbit, either. Despite me going off the rails, the staff kept it together and worked things out for me. About everything you need for moving is there - grand wardrobe boxes, all kinds of packing boxes and materials, furniture dollies, utility dollies, furniture pads, bubble wrap, etc. One of the staff went with us around the truck to look for damage and to prep for take-off. Everything was done top-notch from when I picked it up to when my husband returned the truck later. read more

Normally this location always has a qualified person to fill propane bottles. This afternoon the qualified person was leaving as I arrived. I went inside and the girl inside the location does not sell propane. I told her that is not the truth. She then said yes they did but no one could fill the propane bottle. I asked for the main manager's name and business contact number (this stores number) and she would only provide the name of the manager's name which also may not be the truth and refused to provide the store's number. I had driven 10 miles to get propane and the employee leaves upon my arrival. Numerous other propane customers most likely showed up over the next hour and a half before closing and were denied service. read more

We rented a U haul truck from this location to move my 82 year mom. We return the truck the same day filling it up with gas and everything that the contract required. When we returned the staff outside told us everything was good and that we did not need anything else, they would take care of all the paperwork. Serveral days later while looking through our bank statements we noticed a three day charge. When we called the store the manager said we returned it three days late. When we confronted him he asked us to produce proof which we did not have because we were assured that we did not need anything from the staff. Since there are a lot of cameras we asked to look at the cameras and he would find that we were truthful. We have called uhaul Corp directly with no help. They are running a scam or are to incompetent. Don't rent anything from this location. We are giving up the fight until we get our money returned. Do Not Use them had an appointment to install an electric brake in my vehicle at 10:30 AM. When I arrived had to stand in a long line that went out the door. When it was my turn in line it was 11:00 AM. Employees told me it was an 1 hour install. So I asked them where was the waiting room and vending machines. Employees told me it was drop off only, but did not tell me this the day before to were I could prepare myself and have someone follow me. So I started waiting at 11:00 AM they took my keys to the mechanic I guess. And they left me waiting well 30 minutes passed by, and no one has touched my vehicle. So I asked for my keys back, and told them I will take my business else where. Besides there was an African American man and women, and an elderly caucasion man handling the front counter every last one of them were slow as hell as in no training. They were also unprofessional especially the African American man instead of helping the bext person in line all he was worried about was where someone parked illegally on the lot. Furthermore they were so concerned about protecting themselves fron covid 19 they placed a temporary hidious counter between them and the customers, and the capacity I am pretty sure was overloaded with all the boxes in the aisles.
