For detail, I had Ilya add a steel beam, several posts, add a new bathroom, remodel my kitchen and bathroom to the studs. They were very efficient, detailed and considerate, even helping with small errands like return a large exhaust fan to UPS when the original one sent was dented. Their experience shows throughout the process, and I felt respected and confident, even though this was my first major renovation. The project took slightly longer than estimated, but when I told Ilya that I had a relative who needed to move in with me, they moved heaven and earth to finish within a week. That said, they still continued to address small concerns after the fact, like painting the outside where an old electrical panel was moved, helping to repaint a small deck where lots of foot traffic had worn away the paint and now fixing a large drain pipe that has been leaking (note that the plumbers they sub to - Perez - are not my favorite). For costs, Quality are quite reasonable with a warranty that they stand behind. Ilya will always go above and beyond to ensure his clients are satisfied with the work delivered. It's super hard to find trustworthy and quality contractors who also have availability, so I felt fortunate that Quality was recommended to me by my experienced real estate agent friend. We worked with Phil to renovate two bathrooms, each of which had highly technical tile-setting requirements. He was careful and meticulous with how he approached each of the bathrooms. Phil's work included all of the drywall installation, custom shower pan fabrication, custom heated floor installation, tile-setting, and painting. To make sure that the tile layout was perfect, he built a makeshift table in our downstairs common area and then cut and laid out each individual piece of tile prior to install. Phil is also a great problem solver. We had several unforeseen issues arise (as they always do with construction) and Phil came up with really creative solutions. Requested a quote through yelp and got a prompt response within mins. Biar's team charge a flat…read moreservice fee for diagnose, expert advice, possible solutions, and will be waived if hired on the same day. You will get impressed and choose to hire him if you have him onsite to know how patient and professional he is. For my project, initially I thought is related to breaker. He checked each single outlet that is affected. Mess it is (due to our earlier general contractor who wires four hot wires from a single outlet!!), Biar was able to identify the problem (bad connection before aluminum and copper wires) and fix it. A nontrivial issue was later identified related to our disposal wires, and Biar self proposed to get into our crawlspace to try finding the root cause. Unfortunately no issues there, and it may be caused by unstable connections inside the wall. No time for this work today, but I am setting a follow up job with him the coming week! The project took him much longer than expected, and he even skipped his lunch time to get the project done. The price is quite reasonable. I am super happy with his work, and look forward to getting the disposal fixed next week.
