I recently had my home painted, and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. The crew was respectful, careful, and very considerate of my home. They took great care throughout the job, and the finished paint looks great! What I especially appreciate is the communication and follow-through. Ibsan came by personally to ask if I had any questions or concerns, and everything I brought up was addressed. That kind of attention and care really makes a difference, and believe me I am very picky. I own several rental properties and have used this company to paint a couple of them as well. After working with them on multiple projects, I can honestly say they have been the best painting company I've worked with. As a homeowner and property owner, I need to feel confident that my properties are in good hands. I can't always be there to supervise every detail, nor should I have to. I hire professionals because I trust them to take pride in their work, treat my properties with care, and do the job right. This team has consistently given me that peace of mind. I truly appreciate the way they listen, communicate, address concerns, and take responsibility for their work. It's not just about the quality of the painting; it's about the people, the professionalism, and the trust they build with their customers. I highly recommend this ibsam and his crew. Thank you to Ibsan and the entire crew for taking such good care of my home and my properties. It really means a lot! read more

Unprofessional, careless, and combative--avoid this company. Working with this company was a stressful experience from start to finish. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Skipped Prep & Unpainted Surfaces: While they did an excellent job on stucco patching, basic surface prep like scraping and sanding elsewhere was wildly inconsistent, leaving uneven finishes across several areas. Mold treatment was handled with a small consumer-grade spray bottle from Safeway rather than a commercial treatment, and they completely skipped painting several unexposed surfaces--such as the tops of beams and soffits--hoping I wouldn't notice. Messy Worksite & Property Damage: The crew left our property littered with tools, paint cans, trash, and paint chips across all yards at the end of each day. They damaged our attic vents and denied responsibility. During power washing, thin masking tape over our garage soffit vents blew off immediately, but foreman Hugo kept blasting water directly into the open vents--flooding dirty sludge all over a new vehicle and stored items inside. Combative & Insubordinate: Hugo repeatedly argued over clear mistakes. While applying a specialized porch product requiring a 4-hour dry time, Hugo started a second coat after just 1 hour. When I instructed him to stop, he ignored me and kept painting right in front of me, claiming he was "letting the product talk to him." I had to call Ibsan on the spot to force him to stop. Poor Communication & Pushback: Both Ibsan and his crew asked me for my paint choices at least ten separate times throughout the job, and repeatedly threatened extra charges for finishes explicitly included in the original quote. Whenever issues were caught, the crew claimed "it was like that before" until shown photographic proof. Hugo even spent three days arguing against fixing an accidentally painted window frame--a 5-minute fix--before admitting, "well it's worth trying." While the end result looks acceptable from a distance, basic prep work was skipped, surfaces were left untouched, and who knows how soon it will be before the paint fails. Save yourself the headache and hire a team that respects your home, your contract, and basic standards. read more

Ibsan provided a good quote for our external house painting and his folks did an awesome job without breaking anything. And they helped us choose the color and also repaired some of the rotten wood planks around the house. I highly recommend Target Painting. read more

Searching for any contractor is a hard task to make sure we choose the right one for us. We selected 3 Bids. One company with the Initials of SP- S= Smart But not in my book, the guy never came out to give us a thorough Bid. I merely submitted photos and the measurements his bid came back for materials and labor that's all, very vague and incomplete in my experience. Target painting was highly recommended by a friend it was the best decision ever for us. Isban came out and met with us looked over the job and gave us pointers, suggestions and it was the best decision for us. His Crew is professional, courtesy and the work is high quality and every detail was covered. Target Painting did many extras for us given our health situation for this we are forever grateful to Isban Target Painting for his kindness. If you're looking for a painting company that is Honest, Reliable, Great Quality work look no further this is the company. After we hired Target Painting, we found out they also painted a few of our friends house over the Years too. The crew showed up early at 7:30AM but respected our privacy and didn't start the project until 8:00 Am as agreed they are always punctual, professional and kind. Cleaned up every evening very nicely and put all their tools away safely for us. Price was reasonable and very competitive. Highly recommend and they will be coming back to paint our Stucco and a small job inside. If you are in need of a professional painter that does high quality work this is the place. No pressure from Isban he recommends and the final decision is yours. He will give you 2 bids so you can decide which way you want to go, he's as honest as it gets folks. Look no further save your time Target Painting. Thank you Isban and to your wonderful crew for an awesome high quality painting job. Looking forward to you returning for some other jobs here. read more

one of 2 ethical businesses with volume in stucco and painting. Didn't use them Had 2 holes in apartment from removed AC units. Quoted 700-800 which is the correct price. Everybody else who has no volume quotes 1k or above. This and lopez plastering. The ones on thumbtack and most on yelp are incompetent. If they dont have volume then they cant practice and aren't any good. read more

One of the best bids out of 7 we received, we selected Target Painting based on reviews and we were not disappointed. Would definitely recommend for large projects! read more

I am very glad I went with Target Painting. I had to remove ivy from our house and Ibsan and his team did a great job removing the remaining ivy remnants by powerwashing and sanding the stucco surface. They were able to match the paint and make our outside wall look like new. I felt that they went above and beyond by getting to hard to reach areas and we are very satisfied with their work. We especially appreciated that Hugo came back the next day to touch up a few things that we had noticed. Both him and Jose were great! They also charge a fair price for their service. They also did some interior painting work and they did a great job there as well. They are very professional and talented in their craft. Would use them again for any painting needs we have! read more

Met once for the quote. Was on time, very polite & nicely dressed, articulate. I still had other quotes to get so I haven't hired him yet.

I hired Target Painting to repaint the entire interior of our newly purchased single family home. Ibsan and his team are absolute professionals. I chose them over 4 other quoted companies for their timeliness, willingness to handle anything and overall flexibility. The entire project finished a few days ahead of schedule, even with several small punch-list items added last minute. They transformed our house beautifully. All the crew members showed absolute respect and professionalism and really went above and beyond their craft. Incidentally, they even fixed several mishaps caused by some handymen I hired earlier in the month. 100% would hire again for any future painting jobs. Thanks Ibsan! read more

We absolutely love the work Ibsan and his crew did for our exterior house painting project. They responded quickly for the estimate which was very reasonable. They were finished with the entire job within 5 days and every day when they left the area was clean. Very professional, friendly, and helpful when discussing color choices. We would hire them again for any other paint work and have recommended them to many people already. read more

I can't thank and recommend Target Painting enough. I had two rooms plastered and painted for my kids few weeks ago. The team never cut corners and spent their time each and every day. When we decided that we needed to repaint both our home's interior and exterior, we searched Yelp for paint contractors having the highest ratings and most numerous positive customer reviews both in the recent past and currently since employee turnover can cause a once great painting business to become merely mediocre or even worse in 2026. Consequently, we requested bids from 5 painting contractors that best met our aforementioned criteria. Of these 5 companies, we chose Target Painting not only because they most impressed us during our interview, but also because they "slaughtered" the other 4 companies when it came to their pricing. Henry and his crew were totally awesome! Henry was both a painter and the crew supervisor and was always very friendly, accommodating, hardworking, professional, immediately responsive to all of our questions and concerns, and most importantly - is an excellent painter and a demanding perfectionist. We wholeheartedly recommend Target Painting both for your interior and exterior painting projects (we had them do both for our 2-story 2700 sq. ft. house and couldn't be more pleased with the results)...BUT...be sure to request Henry.. because he, in particular, along with his hardworking and very talented crew are sincerely dedicated toward providing unsurpassed customer satisfaction. read more

We chose Target Painting to paint the exterior of our single story ranch house. Their bid for the job was competitive and their proposal was thorough. We could not be happier with the results. Ibsan and his team were professional, on-time, and very detail oriented. The job took 4 days consisting of: - Power washing - Crack sealing and wood prep - House body painting - Trim painting - Touch up Every step was performed with great attention to detail and no damage to any surfaces or landscaping. In fact, they assisted us in moving a few heavy items and even swept up after the job was complete. I would highly recommend Target Painting. read more

Ibsan and his crew did an amazing job painting the exterior of the house. My wife and I were very happy and pleased with the results. The Stonegate Body, Carbon Trim, and Redwood front door were bold and beautiful. Makes our house stand out in the neighborhood! Target Painting was reasonably priced and executed everything on the Scope of Work perfectly. They also cleaned up after themselves and did not leave any mess. They did a great job with prep work by repairing all cracks, sanding wood as needed, and helping remove the old satellite dish and unneeded and annoying cable wires before painting. From start to finish, it took them 5 days to complete the job. Highly recommend!!! read more

We only have our exterior painted. We have a 2 stories, stucco house with wood and metal trim. It's about 4600 sq ft. Having different painting projects and my family's experience (6 of them living in Los Altos and have hired various painters from most expensive to surprisingly cheap ones) the result between the highest bid and the middle range is unnoticeable. Paint is paint. It's not easy to screw up unless you have no skills nor any experience. Hence, pricing becomes the more important factors to consider. (I can't believe some painter charges extra on the metal rails where Target just includes everything) FACTS: 1. Out of 17 bids I have received, 1 of them was below Target's bid but 15 of them were much higher. On average 40% - 100% higher than Target's bid. Most of them were around 40% more. Please be aware I didn't inquire bids from big painting companies but mostly small firms. So if you go to some of those companies you heard from radio or TV, their bid will likely be higher than 100%. 2. We bought our own paints and we chose one of the better paints out there. Therefore, if they paint it properly, the result will always be good. Thus, it's important to look at their preparation, are they being careful etc. 3. They spent 1.5-2 days power wash and prepare the house for painting. My only concern was Ibsan (may be the boss, who met with us, gave us the bid and told us how much paints we need to buy) was a little late to inform us about paint needed. It'd have been much better if he informed us the first day. Still, we were able to get the paint to them before they start. 4. Ibsan wasn't the person who painted the house. Leon and Mario are the painters the whole time. Just 2 of them. 5. I was not in a hurry so when they told me it will take 6-8 days, I have no problem with that. They were able to finish the project within 8 days. Pros: - Leon and Mario were very hard working, even during the heat wave around 100 degree they didn't stop. - The preparation was pretty good. There are some minor issues but overall, they did a very good job. Again, the main thing is to prep the house properly for painting. The painting part was easy, they spray paint and use roller and brush on some area. - They were very accommodative, Leon repeatedly asked if there is anything I am not happy, let him know, they will make sure they do a good job. I have given them multiple requests and they fixed them all. - They did a relatively good job to fix the cracks around my house. It's not perfect and I'm not going to hold them to it because the stucco finish we have is level 5. Smooth finish, very difficult to hide the cracks or repair them. I am being reasonable and think that they have done a pretty good job in most cases. - The deal was 2 coats of paints and they did that, but I was concerned one side of the house always got the sun and point out some of the old paints not fully covered by the new (It could be the paint wasn't dry yet) and wonder if 2 coats were enough, they didn't even said another word and told me they will put on another coat, they have to prep the windows again and all... that flexibility is what I REALLY appreciate. Cons: - They promised to remove their equipments but took 2 days and still here. - For a 4600 sq ft house, there are couple spots that I thought was not perfect but it's not bad. We have to be reasonable and can't be too picky (even though I am pretty picky already) Conclusion: After seeing the result, I'm confident to say if I pay the highest bid painter, the result will probably be better but not noticeable. Hence, I'm very pleased with Target Painting. (Given stucco house is easier to paint than wood or other materials) read more

Gave us a reasonable quote and set a date. Were on time both days (living in South San Jose, a rarity with contractors), the finished job was a work of art. Highly recommended! read more

We were shocked by how meticulous and thorough the crew was! For our exterior painting project, they carefully prepared the house over 2 days, sealing gaps and cracks we hadn't even noticed, neatly masking complicated areas like garage window cutouts, replacing a piece of deteriorating wood trim, and even digging away a section of pebbles so that they could paint all the way to the bottom of the side of the house. They were consistently on time, courteous, and efficient, completing the painting over 2 additional days. Ibsan was easy to work with, from onsite quote to coordination of the crew & equipment. We appreciated that he runs his business with clear start, break, and stop times for his employees. Of the 3 quotes we received, Target Painting matched the price of a well-rated company and was 1/3 the price of another. We have been recommending them to our neighbors and friends! read more

Target Painting repainted my house and replaced some terminate-infested wood. It was a great experience from the quote to the finished job. The quote was broken down in an understandable way. Target Painting - before and after photos. note that windows were also replaced between photos - Painters Near Me - San Jose, California

There is no way to sugar coat this, our Willow Glen duplex rental property was (and still partly is on the exterior) slummy. There were things such as obvious & major termite damage in the bathroom, disgusting carpets, limits to electrical usage, original 1940's bathtub & tile & kitchen countertops, and other smaller, but, incessant issues. Our tenants of 4 years left to no surprise so we finally decided to fix as much that made sense for this rental so we could re-capture the fair market rental rates, increase value in the case that we wanted to sell/1031 exchange it, and have a property that we, along with our tenants, could be proud of. After calling 5 contractors we went with Ibsan & his team because they had the best value for us. They were available to start right away which contributed to lowering the units vacancy period, and they were also experienced and confident enough that they could demo and replace the part of the bathroom that had the termite damage down to the studs. Out of the 5 companies they were in the middle as far as price goes among other 5-star painting contractors here on yelp. We're really glad we went with them and we'll be contacting them in the future for the exterior of the house. read more

First time using Target Painting and they did not disappoint!! Was introduced when I noticed them working on another house in my neighborhood and was thoroughly impressed with their diligence and work. From our initial contact to the end of the paint job - Ibsan and his team were nothing short of amazing and professional. They were tasked to paint the exterior trim in addition to a few other specific areas of our 3 story home in Mountain View. The painters were incredibly skillful, hard-working, detail-oriented, both efficient and patient. No shortcuts were taken - the quality of their work was impeccable. We were very happy with the end result and will definitely use them again in the future. Highly recommend Target Painting to anyone and everyone. read more

After learning that the building hasn't been painted in over 25 years and that paint is actually crucial for keeping moisture [and therefore rot] out, I found Target Painting and chose them because of the Yelp reviews. The project was to paint the entire exterior and to match the existing colors. I ended up rescheduling my initial / estimate visit because of an unforeseen conflict, and they easily rescheduled me. The important thing to note is I wasn't made to feel like a burden or a troublemaker because of my rescheduling request, which made me feel even more comfortable to go with them. On the initial visit, Ibsan told me all the nearby buildings have their door painted the same color as the accent colors on decorative pieces, something I never noticed before. I agreed to paint my white door the accent color because it was a fun color. He gave me a quote, it seemed reasonable, so I agreed and we start in a couple of weeks. In total, the preparation and painting took 6 business days to complete. The crew were 3 people who demonstrated attention to detail and care. Ibsan did a final walk through and said if I find anything off to let him know and they will make it right. Overall, very happy with the result. Thanks! read more

Ibsan and his team did such an excellent job painting our house exterior last year, that I knew (without getting any other bids) that I'd be asking Target Painting to do our interior painting this year. Once again, everything was done extremely well: Ibsan came by to discuss our needs in detail early on, promptly provided a reasonable estimate, we agreed on a start date that worked for both of us, and the project started on time. The painting itself took 6 days for ~2500 square feet (4 bedrooms, 3 baths, over 2 floors with some very tall ceilings), and the crew were extremely hardworking and professional. Our furniture and belongings were well protected and there was minimal disruption to our regular routines (e.g. my husband and I slept on the guest bed for only one night, and our kids didn't have to switch beds at all during the painting). Thank you, Ibsan, Carlos, and the rest of the crew for your hard work and the excellent results! read more
