Unethical business & poor customer service. I'm approaching my 2nd month in attempting to secure my refund for an incomplete order. I paid for 72 units for printing, though have only fulfilled 48 units for printing to date. Ignacio, the owner, was initially responsive and seemingly willing to help reconcile my order and issue a refund payment for the difference...but has since completely ignored my multiple requests for follow up/action. I've called, emailed and texted and have yet to receive a response and/or refund. Ignacio was more than eager to take my money for the initial order, where now I'm being outright ignored when I'm due money back. I'm extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with this business and it's unethical practices and would advise all prospective customers to take their business elsewhere. read more

While working on a project for work, I decided to outsource some of the printing and lamination work to another company. On my quest to find a competitive provider with reasonable prices I came across Ignacio Bernal's company PromoGator. Initially he seemed very motivated to help me, and was fairly communicative. Shortly after finalizing the details of the print job, I was asked to pay the invoice. After paying the invoice in full, Ignacio Bernal seized all communication with me, and sent the finished project 6 weeks after the deadline. Being upset, and reasonably so granted that his service was so poor, I asked for a refund to which I was promised one from an employee named Sam, and was ultimately never refunded the money! Stay away from this company at all costs, Ignacio Bernal and his company PromoGator are the absolute worst printers I've ever used through all of the projects in my professional career. read more

Sadly enough, I hate to give one star to any business because I understand how busy a business can be and how much social media can influence others to bring their business to you if you're ranked poorly. However, with this business I attempted to contact them many many times (probably called 6 times and emailed 3) to inquire about their pricing and a sale that I had placed weeks before calling in. The owner picked up the phone and talked to me once, promising me the order will be looked into because it had not been completely processed yet. I understand that technology doesn't always work and you can be short staffed, but he did not attempt to contact me once and the order was never fulfilled. I would not recommend condoning business with this company to anyone. You can pay a few more bucks and get much more quality service elsewhere. I wish I could say I had the same experience as the others, however, this was a very disappointing experience. After driving to their place of establishment, we met Ignacio, who seemed helpful even though he was taking calls in between our meeting (no biggie). He asked that we give him a couple of hours to search for the best deal and give us a proposal. After countless calls, follow up emails and text messages, Ignacio disappeared and could not be contacted. We are going on 48 hours and still have not heard from him. Even after we explained we were pressed for time and he gave us no indication that we not be unreasonable. I even left a voicemail telling him if he couldn't meet the deadline, just to simply let us know. Nothing. Heard nothing from him. The reviews sounded great and ultimately drove us to wanting to work with him, however, his customer service fell short and I wished we could have had the same experience as others. After emailing a few different places and after going circles and went to 5 different marketing printing businesses around Orange County area we were very grateful that we ended up here at PromoGator. Excellent quality and customer service! We came here to inquire about business cards, brochures, clipboards, pens, table clothes, and other marketing materials for our business and we ended up buying everything here at once due to excellent customer service, excellent communication from day one until we received all marketing materials and very reasonable prices. First, Ignacio and Sam are the best! They helped us get our marketing materials printed and ordered, and worked with us tirelessly to get the exact designs and prices we wanted and even let us come in to see what my options were before printing. He suggested paper options, plans, and we all agreed with him. In pretty much five days we were able to get a four-set of business cards, brochures, pens, and clipboards in great color and quality! His prices were incredibly reasonable based off what I wanted to be done and what the typical cost of marketing materials online like those were. Second, they were a lifesaver! We needed our materials within one week, and they made it happen. We received everything within the timeframe as Ignacio promised. Some other printing company would take weeks of processing orders, but we were shocked at how fast we got all of them. Other companies told us that it would take them 3-4 weeks due to shipping, printing, workloads, etc. But Ignacio and Sam made it all happened and worked with us. Ultimately, our overall experiences, the products outcome, and all the prices were very reasonable and decent. Called on a Sunday to get pricing and turn around time for 10 shirts for a bridal party that I needed in a couple of days....they accommodated me in a turn around time of 24 hours and had the lowest prices out of several other OC print shops I had called. In my 15 years in the promotions business I've never dealt with such incompetence! All I needed was 20 patches with heat seal backing...a week later and after numerous emails and phone calls to Sam (he's supposedly in charge) I was told my patches would be ready at noon today! So I show up at noon... patches are not ready and no one knows what's going on. Sam says 5 minutes then 30 minutes... 1 hour and 45 minutes later Sam comes in with my patches. I'd like to say The End but nope... the patches have no heat seal!!!!!!!! You guys are the worst. THE WORST!!!! read more

I want to echo what Stephanie's review said as we had a similar experience. The owner at first was very helpful and willing to work with us as a small business so we were looking forward to working with Promogator. Unfortunately, as we continued to work with the owner/company it became increasingly negative and ultimately hurt our company in many ways. The owner would commit to doing an order, after we asked him if he would be able to given their workload for the week, and say it would be done at a certain day/time and then that would completely change. Multiple times we showed up to his office, at a set time between both parties, and he would either be late, not show up, or not have our order ready. For example, a company member went to pick up an order at a set time, after the order not having been completed days earlier, and had to wait 45 minutes for him to arrive on a Friday night at 9 pm because he didn't have our order ready when it was supposed to be. As she waited there for 45 minutes he never called or texted her to say he would be late, knowing this order was for an important photoshoot the following morning. We then had to stay up all night sewing our garments for the photoshoot. Another time he said our order would be done at 6 pm so a company member left an hour in advance, as our drive takes that long to get there, and he texted us less than an hour before saying it would not be done- she was already on her way. This same time he committed to our order being done three different times/days and then disappeared for 5 days with zero communication about what was going on. Then he proceeded to tell us it was because of a "large order" they had and it would be done that day-it never was competed and he still ignored our calls/messages/emails regarding when it would be. An invoice was emailed to us for that order even though we had no idea if it had been started or completed. Not only did we spend time and money traveling there multiple times without getting our orders, but we had to cancel a photoshoot due to this- canceling a photographer and models that were already paid for. We could not get another company to rush the order for us in time. We also requested for our materials we bought and brought in to be printed on sent back to us and there has been no communication regarding that as well. This company/owner are VERY unprofessional and do not communicate with customers. He showed no regard for our time and the commitments he made as a business owner to a customer. I would not recommend them to anyone and I would be weary to use their services. I hope no other business, especially a small business like us, has to go through this. I normally don't ever write negative Yelp reviews, but in this case it impacted everyone in our business and I don't want anyone else to have to experience that. read more

PROMOGATOR is an amazing, one stop shop for all promotional and custom printed items. I was desperate to find a domestic resource that could turn the project fast. I had a project for a new account, which had untapped future potential that needed to be completed immediately. I called PROMOGATOR and spoke to Ignacio and let him know what I needed. During the conversation, I stressed my desperation and Ignacio agreed to meet with me the same day. He went over the options for my project and discussed in detail the process. Ultimately, we decided on pad printing for my project. My project was extremely time consuming and labor intensive due to 5 different colors in 4 different print. Ignacio reached out to his vast network and brought in a special machine into his workspace, specifically for my project. He and his team worked nights and weekends to accommodate my unrealistic timeline. This is the worst I mean worst to deal with , definitely is like the others say Ignacio has a very smoozer way of doing business. I got my trailer wrap which took over 2 months with many excuses he just smiles at you like a Bully, I won't be Bullied so iam saying I would not give anybody bad advise except don't use him for anything. There is so much wrong doing with bad material, every cut is either short or long it is already coming off in less than month.They cut the material on my trailer with a razor blade etching too the metal, meaning now a new paint job. It just keeps going he laughed at me for his very poor workmanship and failure to fulfill my order and damaging my trailer. So he took pictures and he said see you in court.
