The first major issue he helped me with happened when construction workers accidentally brought roaches into my townhouse. Despite immediately spending around $200 on treatment products from Home Depot, the roaches continued to spread and eventually formed a colony. Art came in and solved the problem completely. Later, when we moved into a rental property and discovered roaches almost immediately, Art took care of that situation as well. Both times, after his treatment, I never saw a single roach again. Over the years, Art has also successfully dealt with carpenter bees, carpenter ants, and termites for us. He has always been honest and realistic, explaining that pest control can sometimes take time and that we might still see some insects after treatment. In reality, I never saw them again after his treatment, and I never needed a second treatment. But what truly sets Art apart is that he is much more than a pest control professional--he has become a friend I know I can count on. He has shown up to help within hours when we needed him, he is always on time, and he genuinely cares about solving the problem. He is the only pest control professional I completely trust because I know that when Art comes, the issue will be handled. After more than 10 years of experience with his work, I can recommend Art without hesitation. His expertise, reliability, honesty, and dedication are truly exceptional. If you have a pest problem, Art is the person I would call every single time.

Arterix does a two visit service for yellow jackets to make sure all of the larvae and insects not in the nest when treated the first time are taken care of. I love this company! They helped me with a large wasp nest attached to the house last year and bees in a wooden fence another year. They are pest experts with reasonable prices. I highly recommend Arterix!

The technician methodically assessed the problem and approached the nest from inside and outside the house. The technician located the nest and used a pesticide to kill them. The technician also stated that I should watch to see if any yellowjackets attempted to come back and if they did, he would return at no charge.

They showed up a couple of hours after the estimated time window, citing a delay at a previous job. It happens, not a big deal. They came and sprayed around the outside, plugged some gaps, and set up 3 or 4 bait traps and some sticky traps. This took all of 20 minutes. They talked me into a one year service plan that costs $1484. (I immediately felt I had been strong armed by the technician). He had also said the only way we would resolve the mouse problem was to replace all of the insulation in a part of the house. The cost was $10,000+. I declined their upsell. (A second opinion advised this insulation was unnecessary). The service plan was to come back in a month to reassess the mouse situation and replace traps. We scheduled the next service with a window of 9 am - 12 pm. I stayed home from work to wait for them. After hearing nothing , I called at 11 am for a status. I was told they were running behind and could not be there until 1 pm. That didn't work for me so we rescheduled for the next day from 8am - 11am. I stressed that I was only available until 8:45. They reassured me that I would be the first appointment. (We live about 20 minutes from their office). The following day, we stayed home again. Heard nothing until 8:26 when the technician said they were running late and could be there after 9. Frustrated, we adjusted our schedule and waited. The technician showed up reeking of weed. It was apparent the technician had smoked very recently. Perhaps that was part of the reason for the delay. They did the service and left in about 20 minutes. The technician offered to take $50 off for our trouble. Strangely, he Venmo'ed us $25 from his personal account. I called later to express my concerns. I spoke directly to the owner, Thomas. He was professional and offered to personally come back and take a look at the mouse problem. He said he'd cancel our contract and prorate the money if we wished. I stressed I had a very short time window and had to leave the house by 8:45. He assured me multiple times that he'd be "in your driveway by 7:30". The next day, after hearing nothing, I called at 8:30. Thomas had forgotten our appointment. He said he could be there in 20 minutes. I reminded him how he quite literally guaranteed that he'd be in our driveway by 7:30. He eventually said "You're right, you got me". He agreed to refund us our money for the contract. To his credit, Thomas heard my complaint with professionalism and was apologetic. His offer to take care of the issue personally at no additional cost was appreciated. Had he followed through, we would have likely remained customers. I followed up 3 times over the next 3 weeks. Heard nothing until a month later. They refunded me $935, thereby charging me over $500 for two service appointments that took all of 20-30 minutes each. We still have mice. Edit: to suggest this is fabricated is ridiculous and dishonest. Everything is documented in emails.
