We had issues with roofing / gutter damage due to several storms over the years and we had been paying State Farm $$$$$ for home owners insurance since 2002 ...When we looked into filing a claim with State Farm they claimed that they we were not even listed as being insured under them in regards to home owners insurance even though they had sent us a letter stating we had been given a discount on our multi car auto insurance policies due to the fact that we were also insured with them for home owners insurance ...One would think that they would easily be able to cross reference our auto insurance policies and easily find us in their system as being insured with them regarding our home owners policy ...(same last name -address for 24 years) they didn't even make an attempt to do so until J.B from Proliance jumped in and dug down and handled the matter in a very diplomatic and professional manner in successfully garnering proof of our indeed having a home owners policy with State Farm since 2002 ... 30k for a roof that took over 6 months to actually be installed. Ripped off my gutter, soffit and fascia on 1 side, had to call and ask when they would fix. 5 weeks, countless reschedules and 3 actual inspections and they offer to repair it for 5000. More. This company is not the one to choose. They will either try and scam you or the insurance or both. They undercut the job so they could keep the money instead of giving me the siding my insurance is paying for. I got a roof for 23,000 after they got done. They have already got money from the insurance company for downspouts I never got. FRAUD. My insurance said they have to give the the invoices from the roofing material and I just get the run around . I've ask for them twice. read more

Both of our roofs were done in a day and the gutters were done a couple of days later. Terrible terrible company. My older brother used this company in the past to do his roof now they want to put solar on his house. He's received multiple calls from this company. I believe a Sam called and explained solar... after we said no he politely said thank you for our time and that he would not bother us again which he honored. Now the owner calls all the time. We said no so stop bothering us, your a idiot that doesn't know what he is doing in the door realm. You explained solar like an idiot. This is a disservice to people who are trying to go solar. Positives: Quick repairs, great and timely communications, fantastic customer services, professional staff, no bad surprises, fixed the problem from the first time Negatives: It's my first experience with roof repairs, so please do not judge :). Their referral program could be stronger. Don't hesitate to ask them about it! Overall: It was a great and painless experience. I was so worried, but their customer service was fantastic and it helped a lot to reduce my blood pressure :). I would definitely recommend them! Details: Claudia came to our rescue from nowhere. I was very skeptical in the beginning, but she was professional and knowledgeable, so I decided to give it a try. We signed a PA agreement and surprisingly everything went very fast. Proliance did all the work: negotiated with my Insurance to ensure I did not pay from my pocket too much, got permits, brought roofers and fixed gutters. All that was well coordinated and at every moment I knew what is going on. For example, Kim (from Customer Service) called me when quota from Insurance arrived to inform about the next steps; Faraz (from Production) called me to schedule roof and gutters repairs. Claudia was a charm - answered all my questions and concerns in a timely manner. They also gave me a gift card for my neighbor referral (after I asked about referral program). I would highly recommend Proliance Adjusting and Proliance General Contractors. It was a long process from start to finish (began in late fall so, understandably, work was not completed until spring) but well worth it. HUGE stress reliever to have someone else liaise directly with insurance company. Every person I dealt with (office staff, people on site, etc) was especially courteous, professional, considerate and accommodating (within reason, of course). I felt that they had my best interests at heart and they were true to their word. We had the roof, siding and gutters done and everything looks great! read more

The representative came out quickly to their credit and stated they could do the work needed. Matt, the rep, had to consult with another in his company and set up a follow up appointment. I took off work early for this follow up appointment but they never showed up, nor did the rep return my call from the message I left on his cell. I called the company directly the next day and left two messages and never received an return call. I did speak with a receptionist who did take me number and information and still no return call. Not sure why companies cannot follow through even they cannot do the job. read more

Absolutely a horrible company. If you would like your personal property damaged and them to try and deny they did it, call these guys. They installed damaged roof vents on the front of our home, damaged the siding on the front of our home and damaged our concrete stamped patio in the back yard, which is only 2 years old. It took them 2 months to return, and replace the vents and siding. The day after the install, when I was putting the patio furniture back onto the patio, I noticed the huge chunk of concrete missing from the patio. When they came out to view the damage the rep said to my wife that "a child could've been walking with a hammer and dropped it on the patio." ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!!!!!!! After months of back and forth I attempted to compromise with them and they refuse. They offered to repair the patio WHICH CANNOT BE DONE WITHOUT IT BEING AN OBVIOUS REPAIR AND THE REPAIR WOULDN'T LAST A YEAR. I will be filing a lawsuit in Kendall county this week for my patio to be replaced, including court costs and attorneys fees. As I stated this company is a joke and doesn't care about your personal property. BUYER BEWARE!! read more

If I could give one star I would! The customer service with this company is beyond horrible. They start off nice and professional to secure your business. I had an awesome experience with Claudia, she was very professional. The problems came once the work on my roof began. THEY WILL LEAVE YOUR DRIVEWAY A MESS! This company put tar in my driveway which came from THEIR DUMPSTER, that they use for the removal of roof debris. I was told by they would come back to clean up the mess they left in my driveway. They did not come until a week later to clean up the mess. Obviously the damage was more than they expected because after power-washing it, my driveway was still a mess. The production assistance Mickey came out to look at the damage and agreed it needed a solution. He did not have one, and basically said that power-washing was the best they could do because the tar "came from the street not them". Obviously that is a HUGE problem for a company to do work on your property and leave a mess for you to clean up! So I spoke with the production Manager Larry who chucked when I told him my issue. Obviously, it was funny to him. They were extremely rude, not helpful, and basically acted as if they did not cause this problem. Anyway, they sent another person to attempt to clean the mess with some type of cleaner which also did not work. I have not hear from them since. So now I have to pay someone to clean my driveway! I do NOT recommend them. read more

Be careful when using Proliance Public Adjusting Contractors. You basically get locked in to going with them if you don't let them know within 5 days of the initial appointment which is not explained to you. They just go past that very important part of the contract. You will have to pay 30% of what the roofing job would cost weather you go with them or not. They get money from you regardless. 30% is a big number and is also overpriced in my opinion. My insurance company gave them a large amount to cover my roof and garage roof but that wasn't enough to cover what they charged me. I checked what it would cost going with another contractor and it was way below what they charge, but of course it was past the 5 days so it was too late for me. I had to pay out of pocket plus what my insurance company gave them. I did have to do some of the leg work too. The people were nice but that doesn't help with the price. I would not recommend going with a public contractor your insurance company can give you leads for a good roofing company with no extra fees for anything. read more
