Dr. Segu is amazing! My husband sees him for his thyroid problem, and he was truly a life saver…read more Long story short, the previous doctor my husband saw was AWFUL. I wish someone would revoke her license! There were so many red flags, but the last straw was when my husband was continuing to lose weight at a rapid pace, and she just gave him a lecture claiming he was pocketing the pills and not taking them. Immediately after that appointment, I started looking for a new doctor for my husband and I found Dr. Segu. Seeing all the positive reviews, I knew he would be the one to help him. Coming in for his first visit, I was nervous. Even though he had great reviews, I just wanted someone to help my husband. But all my worries went away when I saw Dr. Segu come to the waiting room, and happily wave at his wife when he saw her. Seems silly, but that showed me he was a kind person and had a heart. (Unlike my husband's previous doctor) When we went in, the nurse practitioners were great and so kind. It made the experience all the better. And Dr. Segu is literally Superman. He was our hero and saved my husband's life. Pretty much, my husband's thyroid was just killing itself and no medication was helping him. After some trial and errors, Dr. Segu decided he would need surgery. My husband was just one of those "lucky" individuals who had it so bad that he would need surgery. At one point, my husband had to make an ER trip because he had severe heart palpitations. Thankfully, a simple phone call to Dr. Segu's office made everything better. He quickly prescribed a new medication for my husband to take up until a little after his surgery. The thought of surgery was definitely scary. We weren't prepared for it, but Dr. Segu made everything better for us. He assured us everything would be ok, and he went above and beyond and recommended us an amazing surgeon. He even talked to him personally for us. What doctor does that? A great one that is! In the end, my husband's surgery went great, and almost a year later, my husband is back to normal and doing so much better. Honestly, if I didn't find Dr. Segu, I'm not sure my husband would be here right now. He was probably on the verge of having a thyroid storm, but Dr. Segu saved the day. On behalf of my husband and I, seriously, thank you to the entire staff and especially to Dr. Segu. You have assure my husband a long and happy life. We will forever continue to come here, and we will always recommend everyone, and anyone to come here.

They don't clean their patient restrooms, there was feces all over the toilet and urine surrounding it. They don't clean their patient rooms and they don't clean their scale. They make you take your shoes off to weigh and don't clean up after you step, so you and all of the other patients are putting their dirty feet onto the scale. When I was brought into a patient room the table paper was still wrinkled from a previous person sitting on it. They just pulled the table paper off and put a new one as they roomed me. Not even a sanitary wipe. Their main goal is up charging. They have a rescheduling fee of $100 if you don't call within 48 hours. Life doesn't work that way. I called 24 hours prior to my appointment to reschedule and received a no show fee, even though I gave a courtesy to reschedule in due time. Then they try to up charge my copay twice the amount and claim it's insurance's fault. Then they claimed my insurance didn't cover my last visit so there's an additional $100 fee. When I shared I wasn't prepared to pay the $200 fee because my copay the last time I visited 6 weeks ago was $50. They provided no help and just said to call my insurance, because now my copay is $100. They said they had to cancel my appointment and I'd receive another no show fee. So now my balance is $400. I politely asked if I could be placed on a payment plan and that I would gladly pay my $50 copay they refused because they've had a lot of no shows today and they just aren't having good day. How am I being punished for others wrong doing? I showed up and have tried to reconcile so I can pay my fees I didn't try to negotiate. Then they gave me a ridiculously hard time when I asked for my medical records. They made it seem like they were doing me a favor by finally giving in and printing my 3 pages of medical records. Extremely terrible office. Listen to all of the other reviews because they are accurate. 0 stars, terrible office. Terrible office manager. Terrible presentation of office. This office and their staff are disgusting. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! This place is not worth spending your money.

Meagan met with me and went over a lot of information include HRT and how our bodies change due to menopause and it is something we need to handle. She ordered detailed labs and then met with me to go over the results in detail. Most doctors don't do that. They put a note in your portal saying your results are fine even though you see some out of range. I started HRT in December 2025 and what a big difference it has made in my life. Then I decided to have my pap smear with Meagan since she takes the time to go over all the information and find solutions. She also ordered additional labs. Then met with me for 30 minutes to go over the lab results. Due some of the results, she ordered more test to be sure all was ok and continue to monitor my thyroid results. I'm so happy that she goes over everything and if she has any concerns request more tests. My last results were not good as it relates to my iron. Right away she sent in a prescription, requested for me to take a certain vitamin and to refer me to a hematologist for possible iron infusions. Since I'm a pancreatic cancer survivor, I already had a hematologist, so the office sent over my results. Sure enough, he ordered for me to have the infusion. I've had low iron since I finished radiation which the doctors knew but all I got was to take iron supplements with no follow-up. It's only because Meagan took the time to review the results, order tests, that I feel I'm finally getting the treatment I need. I can't wait to start the infusion. Maybe I will feel so much better with not being as tired or dizzy. If you ever feel like there is something wrong and you aren't getting the care you deserve regarding your hormones or labs, then go see Meagan. I'm so thankful I was referred to this practice and to Meagan. Also all their staff is amazing whether in person or when I call.

She also didn't know that my diabetes drug, came in a 100-U dosing pen. She argued with me over this. Also got sick because she changed my GERD meds without contacting GI doc. I've had Type I DM for 35 years, with no microvascular or other complications. I feel that I'm obviously doing something right. This doc only found ways to put me down and feel stupid, rather than lift me up for any level of good care I've taken for myself. On my last visit she got up and walked out because she said I was taking too much of her time. Yet, she still didn't answer my questions. If you want a doctor that keeps her head in the computer for an incredibly long time to look up incorrect things from your last visit (which I've tried to correct on both of my follow-up visits), avoids looking directly at you, and avoids your questions with lackluster comments , this is the doc for you. If you want a professional that really cares, go somewhere else.

We've been going here for primary care for more than a decade, and to be disrespected in this way is absurd. First, they said my husband hadn't been seen recently enough, so he would be considered a new patient. I really don't think that's accurate as he's been there within the last two years for ear infections. Whatever though, fine, gave them all the information again, as they would not just take it from my record as I am a "current" patient. Got the appointment, days go by, and then we get a voice mail today saying the appointment has been canceled. Ok...Called to find out why that would be. Apparently, they scheduled him with a PA that isn't taking "new patients." You'd think they'd have known that at the time I made the appointment originally since they basically assigned him to that PA themselves, but again, whatever I just needed the appointment for him, so I politely asked when the next available appointment, with anyone that is taking "new" patients, would be. I was presented with three choices. 1.) A time that we could make work. 2.) A time he already has another Dr. appointment with a specialist that can't be rescheduled. Or 3.) One that was multiple weeks in the future. (The whole reason we needed this was a at the behest of that other specialist doctor he's already seeing, and it needed to be within two weeks, before his next appointment with them was occurring.) I took the day that would work for us of course, and in the time it took me to say the words "we'll take the 11:15 please" I was then told that slot had already been taken by someone else. Are you kidding me?!? This sounded like compete BS to me, and I was already very stressed out at this point. The other appointments were of course non-starters, so I'm done with this place. They were rude, inconsiderate, and unhelpful. The trifecta of "DO NOT GO HERE." So, if you want to get appointments pulled from you at last minute (canceled Friday, for a Monday appt), and then not helped to rectify that in any way, this is your place. If you don't want to get jerked around, I would implore you to find somewhere else.
