It was my first time here and had a pedicure. They got my previous gel pedicure off with t the electric file and did it gently. I had a regular polish done and for the price got many more frills than my home place I go to. They massaged , used hot stones, put wax on my heels, and took their time. I've had my nails (gels) done by Meri and she's great. She's careful and removes by hand only what she needs to reapply the gel. I would only recommend her. In the past (years) I've had the other Korean ladies and they are ok if you get a new set but not if you're going for a fill in. The Korean owner does not speak English, but will have the audacity to insult you, for your physical appearance with her employees. I'm so upset with this place. Every few months I usually go in for a pedicure with gel polish. Price is $60. This time I went in JUST for gel polish, i did my own pedi at home. She charged me $40 for JUST gel nail polish on my feet, plus I give the girl $10 tip. I'm FUMING. l--the sign says polish change $12. So i figured gel would be more but NOT $40... i could have bought my own lamp and gel polish on amazon for that price. Another issue I have, is the poor Guatemalan girls that work there, the owner DEFINITELY exploits them. She takes advantage of them and treats them horribly. This is why I always give them $10 tip. I should've listened to the girl who said her nails broke off easily after just getting them done. 4 of my nails broke in half or popped off like nothing and it's been 4 days since I had them done here for $80!! They fixed them for free but told me they'd charge next time. Maybe do them right next time so I don't need to come back 2 days later to have them fixed. I made an appointment with Vilma to do my Pedi. When I got there on time, Vilma was not there. So I guess the owner just set up an appointment to just get an appointment. The owner started my Pedicure and someone else finished. The new girl did a terrible job doing the massage on my legs. it was very short. the timer that I hate that they use did not even go off. I thought to myself., well she does not deserve a 20 percent tip but I will give her one anyway. When I was done my debit card would not work in the ATM. Probably something I did setting it up cause I just received a new one. I told the owner I couldn't get it to work I asked if I could write a check and she said they only take credit cards. I said great. thinking she understood that I did mot have tip money. I also gave extra tip to cover the credit card expenses. After she embarrassed me in front of everyone as I just shook my head at her. I walked out and said thank you. This is not the first time that the owner acted this way with me. Last time she completely didn't put me in the book when I made my appointment. I was calm that I had to reschedule. And really no one has to leave a tip, and they really did not deserve it. Profiles, that is the last time you will see me in that place, and you will never be recommended to anyone ever. I live in Vernon, so a lot of people are going to hear this story through my mouth. Terrible service my last pedicure. When I first sat down the girl asked if ai wanted my nails cut. Of course, that's what ai was there for. Rushed, spent Less time with me and had me come out of the chair and sit sit on a round stool with wheels , rolling around, while other person polished my nails so an incoming customer sit in the big chair. I have been coming to this salon for years. Today, I had a scheduled appointment for a basic pedicure and manicure. Midway through my pedicure, a mother/daughter walk-in (no appointment) requesting a pedicure. The salon owner made me finish my pedicure sitting on a wooden bench with my feet elevated on a stepping stool (which is not sanitary). Additionally, a tool was dropped on the floor, picked up, and still used. I understand this is a busy holiday weekend. However, doing something like this to regular customers who make appointments in order to accommodate walk-ins that can't seem to wait is ridiculous. Plus, this cost me $35!! I've gone to Profiles a decent amount and their service has always been good, even though the quality of work has been lacking. This past visit I got a pedicure and when I took the nail polish off I realized I had a nail fungus. I went to the doctor... 3-18 months of treatment, and if that doesn't work, they have to remove my entire nail. I don't care how friendly everyone is if the salon isn't clean. Very discriminative against LGBT. As a trans woman who lives down the street I have stopped in twice and both times they see me then discuss amongst themselves in their completely empty nail shop and say "oh uh we busy sorry some other time" then a women with no appt walked in after me and they immediately took her in. Many other salons in the area are more popular for whatever reason, but profiles is my go to. I've tried to switch to a salon closer to me or try out a new salon to support them, but I always stay at profiles. They have the best gels ever- they last for weeks and never crack or chip. I think the cost is a couple dollars more but at other places, I've had my gels chip the same week or peel off in less than two weeks - not worth it! Also, profiles pedicures are AMAZING. I went here for the first time, and I recommend it. Since they don't want their salon too packed, you need to call in to make an appointment, but you don't need to do it that far in advance. I would give zero if I could! The woman tried to put the dip powder on my nails with superglue! When I asked what she was doing she said that's how she does it. When I told her I wanted the dip to be done properly she told me no and that superglue was better. My nail were lumpy, uneven, very thick and dull. They were terrible! I ended up leaving without paying which I've never done before. I went to a different nail salon and they were appalled. They had to remove the powder dip and superglue. Underneath my nails had been filed to the point of severe damage and my cuticles were disgusting. read more

Couldn't be happier with my mani pedi. Place is clean, they use liners in the tubs, have Esse and OPI polishes, have cheery staff and offer a lot of extras over any other salon I've been to. My standard pedi included stone massage, heel treatment and they massaged my neck and back while got my manicure, and then again while I was drying. I called ahead and they got my niece and I right in. They have plenty of pedicure stations so can keep things moving. They were very caring to make sure we were happy with everything. I live in Vernon nj and had a wedding to go to. I decided pink and white gels would be a classy look for the event. I looked around for reviews for nail salons near me, the reviews for this place looked good so i booked an appointment .the very nice woman who did my nails was named lee and about 50 years old I would totally recommend her. she took her time and did a very nice job a full set of nails took her about 1 hour 15mins she also gave a Dynomite back rub while my nails cured .i will be back for a fill on my gels but may change over to gel manicures instead for financial reasons hold on to you seats ladies ....$80 bucks for my nails and because I'm a hairdresser I tip always so I threw her a $20. the saying I feel like $100 bucks ring true for me today:)but i think it was worth it. read more

I have been here twice to get a pedicure. Out of all the pedicures I received, this nail salon does the best and were consistent with their service. They do the little extras free of charge that makes them stand out including hot stones, thorough foot and leg massage, the liquid in the bags to soften the heels and even a neck and shoulder massage. The polish holds up for a long time. The salon is clean and they seem to follow good sanitary procedure. The technicians are polite as well. There is a steady flow of customers but there are quite a few technicians that there is no wait. Cost was $28 for standard pedicure. read more
