I did not get good service...I wanted a typical manicure, my nails were never filed, and the polish came off before I left the store. When I showed the person doing my nails she made a face and said I should be careful...I replied well I left them under the dryer 3 times as you said and they still didn't dry properly. She redid the nail with only polish, not a bottom coat or top coat. The next day the polish was coming off other nails. Not at all pleased, I feel like I waisted $$$....who can afford that. read more

Just moved to Milford and found this spot and won't be looking for any other. They've always made room for walk-ins. The staff are a delight - every last person. Their manis and pedis are nice and last so much longer than other places I've been. Clean and inviting. Definitely check them out. read more

my daughter just went here, and she got a HORRENDOUS set out on. Being that she is a teenager, when she was asked if she like her nails, of course she said yes, she called me immediately crying. I called for a refund they said no that they will do her nails again, But they were so awful, I declined the offer and they had still refused to give her $60 back. Awful customer service! I just got a new set of acrylics for the first time in years. They did a fabulous job! I am extremely happy. When I went to make my appt for a fill I wanted 10am today. They didn't have time and offered a later time, but I had to work. So they opened up an hour earlier to accommodate me. That's excellent customer service! It was such a pleasure to be back here. After years of having my nails done in New York City, I have gone to every place for nails in a 25-mile area of Milford. HAPPY NAILS is by far and away the very best nail salon in the entire area. The two women who were there for nails agreed it was the only place they would go. The new salon is gorgeous! There was no wait and the owner took the time to explain the new materials they use and why it was so much better than the gels of yesteryear. The tips were lightweight and thin -- like real nails! After describing the color I was looking for and he nailed it on the first try. The entire manicure with tips was a fast, yet meticulous, and the nails dried hard and completely. No waiting to get the car keys out of my pocket was a pleasant surprise. Now, a week later, they look like they were just done. I'm not sure who my technician was, but he was awful. Zero cuticle oil and the cutting HURT. He cut TWO of my fingers until they bled and when I pointed it out he said nothing and just sprayed alcohol on them. At the end of the gel manicure he filed the tips of my nails, which anyone who knows nails knows that breaks the seal (it's the first step in REMOVING gel). Unsurprisingly, it's less than 24 hrs later and the gel is lifting from my nail. A lesser complaint-the nail swatch I chose did not match the true color. So a week ago, I went to Happy nails in Milford, Pa. The owner was contacted the very next day because one of my nails broke in my sleep. He told me to come in and he'd fix. The next day another nail broke, and so on....Now a week after all my nails are broken. I contacted the owner, he ignored my messages. I told him I want my money back. I am not gonna pay for this. I've been getting my nails done forever and never have my nails looked like this after a week. Since he refuses to respond and I am not gonna drive back there to argue with him, I decided the best way to deal with this is bad review. I went to happy nails two weeks ago with my two sisters for pedis and a fill. First of all, it is not very clean. At all. I looked past this though. The technician was by himself but he said to have a seat and he would get to us soon. He finished up TWO FILLS for other people and after an hour of waiting finally got to us. Yes, I understand there were three of us but if he didn't have the time it would not have been an issue for us to go elsewhere. He rushed all three pedicures, and all of our paint was chipping off within 3 days. When he got to my fill he also rushed that, didn't use UV, didn't even fill them all the way and the paint wasn't dry by the time he nudged us out the door. Yesterday, which is two weeks and a day exactly after I had them done, I had two nails snap off. After almost 6 months of having acrylic nails this is the first time I have had any snafus especially two in one day. I will NEVER go back again especially after calling to ask for a refund or at least a free removal and being denied. Do not go here. They are unprofessional and lousy nail techs. read more
