First, I highly recommend Professional Relocating! With that being said, my sister referred me to this company and so happy a listened to her. Its the second time that I use them and couldnt be happier. The first time it was just to move some larger pieces out of my home to another location. The second time I used them, was to more the remaining of my belongings into storage. I do have to share that both moves went by smoothly and without a hitch. Alex, was extremely professional and accommodating. He walked me through my options and was upfront about what was included in the move and what wasnt, so that I didnt have any surprises at the end of my move. The guys showed up on time and ready to work. They needed very little direction as they knew what to do and im sure they do this everyday. Horrible experience with hidden charges. While moving the furniture into the new house they scuffed the base boards multiple times. Most of the electronics for the stereo was left behind in the old house and when brought to their attention their response (while holding a tv in their hands) was we don't move electronics. First, this was never conveyed that electronics weren't moved and secondly if that's the case why did they move half of the electronics but not the other half. The electronics they did bring, they had left all the AC plugs behind with again the statement was we don't move chords. So now we have TVs that don't work. Also when asked about this I was told "we're tired we've been working 8 hours you don't need to get a hissy fit". Very rude and unprofessional when asked about their mistake. We were charged for 4 workers, 2 were very slow, 1 was good and the 4th never got off the truck. We were charged an hourly rate without being quoted approximate hours to complete the job. Again they were very slow. Beds were out together in the house but left crooked in rooms and even left the plastic moving covers on the box springs so now the mattress and box springs have to be removed to remove the cover. So job was partially done. They said they couldn't install the washer and dryer because the gas line couldn't be hooked up for the dryer. That's reasonable for the dryer but had no bearing on the washer. Had to specifically ask for the washer to be put in place. The final kicker was when the trash was left behind, my mom asked aren't you going to pick up all your trash? Meaning the plastic they wrapped everything in. Their reply with a chuckle was "that's your trash, you paid $700 for that plastic". All of this was for my elderly mom who can't do any of this on her own. I cannot and would not ever recommend these guys. Again due to the hidden fee of the plastic that was never mentioned, leaving all the trash behind, the rude and unprofessional behavior and leaving personal belongings behind with a mountain of excuses. The agreement was everything had to go to the new house. Edit: after reading the below review lies are apparently another trait. No chords were requested to be left behind. You stated to me it was your policy to not move chords, excuses after forgetting things apparently. My mom did request that the misc items on the kitchen island be left behind and the items in the fridge which I would take care of. None of the other products were to be left behind. I am not sympathetic of the stairs as they were seen when the move was quoted. Also the other movers never said don't call us again, I personally have used them twice, my mom 4 times and my brother in law and sister twice. I recently had Alex's team move all of my possessions in my 2BR apt into a storage unit. I don't normally give negative reviews, but my experience wasn't great. YMMV. My credentials: I have been professionally moved 6 times, where my possessions have travelled across country, as well as locally. During these moves, I personally witnessed the movers perform their moving duties, including moving heavy furniture and equipment. I have also performed numerous DITY (do it yourself) moves. Estimate: Alex visited my apartment and personally provided me with a written estimate. Alex himself was very polite, professional, and easy to converse with. I have nothing negative to say about him, except for the fact that he needs to do a better job in hiring his workers, and perhaps his estimating skills need improvement. Movers: The workers (except for Edwin) were in my opinion lazy, disorganized, slow, and incompetent when it came to giving direction. I chose PRM because they gave me the lowest written estimate, and the Yelp reviews were positive. However, my actual price was way above PRM's original estimate and was in line with other moving companies' quotes. The discrepancy in price (a major factor when determining what moving company to use) was due to the fact that the movers were lazy and disorganized. Many times, a mover would walk out of the house carrying nothing, but just tagging behind another guy who was carrying something small, like a chair. The movers got to my place an hour late, and what was supposed to be only a 5-6 hour move turned into a 12 hour move. They did not have a sense of urgency, bickered openly in front of each other, and dropped boxes from time to time. The Drive to Storage: Because of their lethargic behavior, and their tardy arrival to my apartment, I was now in danger of being locked out of my storage unit, because the gate closed at 6:45pm. I told the movers the directions to the storage unit, and told them what interstate to take (I10E), and which one to avoid (405S). They didn't listen. As I drove separately, they called me 3 times to ask for directions, after they had gotten on 405S after taking a snack break. I had to give them directions each time they called, because the mover could not remember the simple directions, and could not remember what exit to get off at (no matter how many times I told him). The movers did not come prepared with the address, a map, or a GPS system, and relied only on me. I called Alex and informed him of this latest complication, and he told me he would make sure they would get to the storage unit on time. They didn't. They drove right by the unit, because they could not comprehend simple navigational direction, even though I had given them the exact address. Unloading into storage: Alex had convinced the storage unit to let the truck in, even though the gate had locked us out (as it was now after hours), so we were able to access my storage unit. However, by now it was 7pm and darkness was falling. The storage unit had no light, and the movers were not prepared with a flashlight, so I had to shine my iPhone into the storage unit for the next two hours while they attempted to unload. When my phone's battery ran out, it was pitch black and pretty much impossible to see anything, making the unloading process cumbersome and sloppy. Conclusion: The entire move took approximately 12 hours, and cost the amount most other movers had already quoted me. However, if I had gone with another mover, I would not have had to deal with the headache of having the movers show up late, being unprofessional in the moving of my heavy furniture, and causing me a great deal of stress that the storage unit would lock me out due to their tardiness. FInally, I did not like having to be involved in a move until 10:30 p.m. The whole reason I paid movers was because I was tired of DITY moves and wanted to relax. This was anything but relaxing. If you want a smooth, painless move, then I suggest you look elsewhere, unless Alex promises you that he won't give you the movers I received. This won't come as any surprise to Alex, because he apologized for his worker's incompetence on the day of the move. I appreciate his apology, but that did not change my moving experience. read more

We used their service in August 2013 to move our 1 bdr apartment, to another location, just 2 miles away. They were very slow, carrying 2 small boxes at the time, not using a dolly. They were very disorganized, it took them a long time to pack the truck, even though it was far from full, they just packed up the stuff without taking care of our property (lots of damages). After my horrid experience I had with movers about two years ago i was skeptical about finding a "GOOD+RELIABLE" moving company. PROFESSIONAL RELOCATING really swept me and my family off our feet! I called in a for a quote and spoke with Alex. After I had expressed my horrible experience I've had in the past, he assured me that he would be there day of pick up and day of delivery to make sure everything went smooth from point A to point Z. (Already loved it,YAY ME!!) I was scheduled first thing on Sat. morning to be picked up. The crew arrived (very polite young men) and started working right away. Organized, two guys in kitchen packing all dishes, two guys in bedrooms disassembling beds and wrapping them with moving blankets, and one guy in living room. Alex, deeply expressed how sorry he was for my previous experience with a different moving company and assured me I was in good hands. I went to run a few errands with the kids while movers were there. Alex said i will call you when we are done. I didn't think they would be done by the time I came back. BUT YHEY WERE!!! PLACE WAS CLEARED, EVERYTHING LOADED IN TRUCK!!! Alex and I did walk-through to make sure everything was loaded on truck. 5 STARS! AMAZING COMPANY ALREADY! Delivery happened the following day. Alex, showed up again (YAY!!) unloaded into the new place. Boxes that were noted to go to bedroom, they went in the bedrooms. Boxes that were noted fragile, they were treated with care. All the dishes packed by them, were unpacked by them. My family thanks Alex and Professional Relocating for the best service EVER!!!! Do not hire this company. After using PURE moving and having such a great experience with them, we used this co due to availability. Very bad decision. Alex is extremely volatile and hostile. No thanks. He yelled at us after we complained and told us it was our fault rather than offering to help resolve the issues. Everything in our house was wrapped and ready for carry out and they still took their time, milking that clock for sure. We had broken items (and have found even more as we unpack). Of course calling Alex is out of the question he just gets hostile blames you and then says 'have a blessed day' - sure bro. Whatever you say. Bottom line- mediocre moving, terrible customer service, damaged items and a HIGH price tag for what should have been a smooth move. Since we did most of the work ourselves, we would have been better off with a Uhaul and hired labor. This was a total waste of a couple grand and worse our energy and time meant to mitigate what was a terrible experience. No thanks HUGE pass. Mover from Hell: Alex,the owner, seemed knowledgeable and accommodating at first. We needed our piano moved or to the front porch from the living room, about 15 feet, so we could have some new flooring installed. When the flooring was complete, a couple of days later, we needed the piano brought back into the house. Alex underbid everyone else we called and agreed to do the job for a very fair price. He let me know how I could best prepare for their return and to make sure not to damage the new wood flooring. I let them know the work in our house would be completed by Friday but just to be on the safe side I let him know that he could text us but we might just have him come over on Monday. Over the weekend my husband and I purchased all of the items that he suggested and we did our best to be ready for him. Alex texted me late afternoon on Sunday to find out if we were ready for his return. I did not see the message for a couple of hours, but responded as soon as I received the text, just a couple of hours later. Since I didn't hear back from him. I assumed we would touch base on Monday, which was when I had expected him to return. I tried to accommodate him , since he wasn't sure when he could fit this small job in and waited for him all day. Late in the day he texted me to let me know he would be there in 1-2 hours. When he arrived at about 6pm, he seemed in a hurry and not as professional as before we paid him. By the time I returned from looking for a couple of items he requested, he and his partner had already moved the piano into the house along the cardboard pathway that my husband and I had agreed to have in place in order to protect the new flooring. This is when everything went south and he became the MOVER FROM HELL! He started to raise his voice at me and "scold" me for not having everything ready. The next thing I knew he was hollering at me telling me that he was doing me a favor and that I hadn't followed his instructions. Then he and his partner just walked out of the house, leaving the piano in the middle of the living room! Good thing my husband is such a stud and he and a great neighbor helped us finish the job! Woah! Customer service isn't what it used to be!! My suggestion is to find a real professional to do the job!! read more

Bravo, Kudos and lots of hugs and to Alex and the best crew ever on my move 2 weeks ago from Sherman Oaks to the beach in Oxnard. Best move ever! Robert, the lead man, was so efficient. Chon(not sure I spelled that correctly) the jigsaw puzzle truck worker extrodinare and last but certainly not least, Tommy, who I really think could carry a refrigerator upstairs all by himself! So nice, friendly, and funny and really hard workers. Showed up exactly on time at 8am and had me moved in by 2pm. WOW. They LENT me wardrobe boxes and LOADED all my hanging clothes. Just had to empty them on the backside. What a time saver! And these crew guys are NOT the drive by the closest Home Depot parking lot pick up guys but are professionally trained in packing and loading. Which is very important if you value your belongings. So careful and respectful of my stuff! I hate moving more than anything in the world. The stress leading up to a move is enough to make me brain crazy for weeks. PERSONALLY I WOULD NOT HAVE THESE PEOPLE MOVE MY DOG SHIT. The most unprofessional service ever, these people do not do anything they signed up for. They will stand around while you pay them and do their job! It's ridiculous that you have to pay tons of money to move your own stuff. Everything is extra if you want it moved and don't think about asking them to put stuff back in the new room at the new house they will laugh at you and put it wherever they want they do not re set things up so YOU AGAIN HAVE TO MOVE STUFF YOU PAYED SOMEONE ELSE TO MOVE again and do not expect to have it all damage free because most of it will be destroyed. Plus all they do while they are standing around watching you as you pay them is smoke cigarettes around all your furniture so in your new house it will smell like cigarettes forever like mine does currently. Not to mention the floor that was very expensive they decided to ruin. I cannot wait to find everything else that has been ruined after I finish moving(ONCE AGAIN PAYED SOMEONE ELSE TO MOVE) the rest of the stuff to the correct places in the house. Also they have for some reason they emptied clothes into the cats litter box very nice thing of them to do and these scums threw my moms Antique Christmas ordainments in the street and crushed them. I'm not making this up either! It's a sad world out there don't pay to do it your self hire someone else!!! P.S. since I read earlier in a previous review that the guy that got bad service as well was obviously a pissed off employee the good reviews the company must pay for then lol thought I'd add that. What a great job! These guys came earlier than expected and did a great job helping me relocate to San Diego. They were vet nice, funny and very very careful with my things, which included a really expensive tv that I just bought and had no box. I had a fiasco with a pod that wasn't big enough. We called Alex with Professional Relocaters at the last minute. They happen to have an empty truck going from SLC, UT to Southern California. What can you say when your things are damaged,broken and stolen... Shocked and saddened. I had to relocate within my apartment community due to construction. My property manager referred me to these guys. They came fully unprepared for my move. Instead of offering to return when they were prepared,they broke,dropped, and stole my personal belongings. They wrapped my items in my families vintage photographs, my clean sheets and towels. I spoke with the manger of the company who claimed that his people would never steal and told me to use my personal insurance and to stop contacting them. Nearly two weeks later, a filed police report,letter to the Better Business Bureau I've head nothing. Shocked and saddened that I gave them a second chance after they moved me earlier in the year and damaged many things at that time as well. ALEX, ROBERT and their team are AWESOME!! Our office moved from downtown LA to a new location in El Segundo, on July 30, 2015. I personally searched for and reviewed several (professional) moving companies but none were as professional, honest, "specific" and informative as this company. When I called this company, I spoke with Alex who (if memory serves) is the manager. Prior to the move, Alex scheduled a visit to our office to assess and evaluate what it would take to move us to our new location. After a quick and thorough walk-thru/assessment, I received a VERY attractive estimate, followed by confirmation of the date and time of the move. When the lead mover/Supervisor, Robert and his team showed up the morning of the move, they were extremely prepared and had GREAT attitudes, which isn't often the case with most movers. Robert handled the move (including his crew) with ease and efficiency!! It was flawless! Once the move was complete, Robert and I sat down to settle payment. I swear it was like working with a good friend. The level of attention to detail and care that he provided, in my experience, is unmatched. I HATE MOVING, both personally and professionally, but Professional Relocating Movers made it easy and painless. I couldn't believe how extremely easy they made my moving experience. What I anticipated taking about six hours was done in half that time. They were very helpful, helping me to re-pack my TV when I did a poor job myself, and even after the move swapping the side the handles on the fridge were for me. Despite two flights of stairs, one of them curvey, I always felt that my things were be handled with the more than enough care. Just moved here from Phoenix, AZ. We had a 16 foot truck FULL of furniture and knew we'd need help unloading and setting everything up. Our experience with Professional Relocating was great from start to finish. Alex was very sweet and helpful all the way through. We moved from Southern California to Northern Arizona. It was an overnight move, but we requested a day delay to accommodate our move with our three dogs and was done without any problems. They did some of our packing including a white couch and all arrived unbroken and as clean as it left. Loading and unloading was quick and all the packing and empty boxes were cleared out as we requested. Very happy with them and would highly recommend them. read more

Alex and his team were wonderful! What a great experience. They moved some furniture and boxes from Porter Ranch, CA to my new home in Las Vegas, NV. They showed up on time as I requested because I needed to be at work by 8:00 a.m. We needed to start loading the truck at 7:00 a.m. Alex was super punctual, he organized the loading of the truck and the wrapping of the furniture so efficiently that I could no believe it. They packed our stuff, disassembled furniture, put in storage until ready and then assembled once delivered. The movers were very nice and took proper care of our stuff. Great guys on the job, terrible management! Corporate strategy is to drop the client if something goes wrong I did two moves with Prmovers. Both times the guys on the teams were very very kind and fast and that's why I stayed with them. Two main reasons why it was a bad idea. First down side is the rate they give you goes up because of all the additional costs such as wrapping material and any kind of additional service.
