That said, I would not return to this practice nor recommend it to my friends or family. The medical assistant or nurse that does the intakes and vitals was extremely abrupt. To give an example, when asked what hurt, I mentioned two body parts. She said to me without making eye contact, "pick ONE!" In addition, I was surprised by the additional crew in the room. There was a Monty Tech student and the Dr has an assistant notetaker. All piled into the room without asking my consent. I am pretty easy to please. My requirements for medical visits is that I'm treated respectfully, that I feel "heard", and my privacy is honored by asking me first before inviting a team. There are many providers out there so no need to make do with one who doesn't fit. Hope you have better luck if you choose to go here.

The care that the team gives, especially Stephanie, is fantastic. I've had to go through physical therapy a few times in my life. And this is by far the best experience I've had. They are also very accommodating with evening appointments where I work a full time schedule. I feel like my appointments are part of my weekly self care ritual and not something that I can do without.

The simplest explanation is "UNPROFESSIONAL" On 2 occasions, I showed up EARLY for appointments and was told I was late, because they did not come to get me until after I had been there for 10 minutes. My primary physical Therapist, Ryan Wedge, was rude and an excuse making machine. He even refused to see me one time when I had my daughter with me, because I was "late" (not my fault if he waits 20 minutes to come find me), and called me an idiot in front of her. 2 months into treatment I was barely ahead of where I started in any way. Actually I lost strength in my hand. I will say that some of the discomfort in my palm did improve, but that was 100% the doing of 1 PTA there. I will say they had one PTA there, Julia, who was very good. She did a massage to break up scar tissue in my hand that helped a lot. However, this was not part of Mr. Wedge's treatment plan. She was also patient and good at explaining what she was trying to do and why we were doing it. I highly recommend her to other employers and hope she leaves this organization.

Pleasantly impressed…read more My mom ended up here recently with a heart condition. Ended up being here 5 days over Easter weekend. The staff was truly amazing. Every single nurse, doctor, nurses aide, even housekeeping and dietary aides - every single person took the time to treat my mom like a person, took the time to answer all her questions, took the time to speak with her family. Gave us 110% of their attention while they were with us. Went out of there way to make her feel comfortable. We never felt rushed. I did not know a thing about Leominster hospital before this experience. Had mostly experienced the larger university teaching hospitals down in Worcester. Down in Worcester I often felt like my dad was just a case study for the interns. Not the case here. I dare say, this could be the hospital of choice for my parents moving forward. Extra shoutout to nurses Natalie and Theresa, Jennifer in Housekeeping, Dr Robotis and Dr Salman.

Urgent Care sent me to Leominster Hospital on May 8, 2026 due to lower severe right sided abdominal…read morepain. They asked them to do a CAT scan asap. I was the very first person to walk in the emergency room. I was doubled over in pain. I was triaged and blood drawn and urine test for possible UTI. I was sent to the waiting room. I ended up waiting six hours while other people came and went being discharged. I also saw other people being called for CAT scans all throughout my six hour wait. Some obviously with stomach pain. I asked the receptionist why I wasn't being called for a CAT scan. She said I don't know ask the nurses. I was crying at that point. So much pain and she could have helped out by asking them for me as I could barely stand. I ended up leaving and driving myself to the Clinton branch. What a difference. Everyone was so nice and caring and respectful. I was given a wheel chair because I was doubled over in pain. Got in a room decent amount of time and CAT scan done. I had appendicitis and needed emergency surgery. Unfortunately I was told they don't do surgeries and I would need to be sent back to Leominster Hospital by ambulance. I was admitted and given a private room right away and surgery scheduled very next morning to take my appendix out. It was done on a Saturday and the surgeon and others who don't normally work Saturday's had to come in. Had Leominster Hospital just done a CAT scan right away 25 hours earlier when I first got there early Friday morning all this could have been prevented. My appendix could have burst. I've always had great experiences with Leominster Hospital. This is the first time I was treated so poorly. Clinton Hospital gets 5 stars from me. Leominster 1.
