The simplest explanation is "UNPROFESSIONAL" On 2 occasions, I showed up EARLY for appointments and was told I was late, because they did not come to get me until after I had been there for 10 minutes. My primary physical Therapist, Ryan Wedge, was rude and an excuse making machine. He even refused to see me one time when I had my daughter with me, because I was "late" (not my fault if he waits 20 minutes to come find me), and called me an idiot in front of her. 2 months into treatment I was barely ahead of where I started in any way. Actually I lost strength in my hand. I will say that some of the discomfort in my palm did improve, but that was 100% the doing of 1 PTA there. I will say they had one PTA there, Julia, who was very good. She did a massage to break up scar tissue in my hand that helped a lot. However, this was not part of Mr. Wedge's treatment plan. She was also patient and good at explaining what she was trying to do and why we were doing it. I highly recommend her to other employers and hope she leaves this organization.

I have been a patient of Michelle for over 4 years. When your feeling down and disappointed with what happening to your body, she has a way of making you feel better. I had a fracture of my knee and was in rehab (which was useless, all I got from them was pain medicine I finally discharge myself and made an appointment with Michelle. After 3 months in a wheelchair I had enough of the run around with people not listening me. Michelle told me she would have me out of the wheelchair within a month. She had me out of the chair in three weeks. She built up my muscles in my legs to get me ready for surgery. I had the surgery to replace my knee. Started therapy and she said I would get rid of the walker in 4 to 6 weeks. Because of all the work she put me threw before the surgery I was walking without the walker in about two weeks. The exercises and stretches I was prescribed were effective and got me back to health quickly. The PTs were very perceptive and picked up important clues to my problems that I couldn't see. Michael was especially good at this. The equipment - balls, weights, machines, tables, etcetera - was all clean and well maintained. The main room is pleasant to be in with lots of natural light. All the scheduling and administrative stuff went very smoothly, too.

Thought it was just for 6 weeks, I was assigned 3 different therapists, each handling me for not more than 2 weeks because the first two were leaving the practice and they couldn't accommodate me otherwise. So, I was put through 3 different treatment styles and exercises at the end of all of which I made ZERO progress with my condition. In fact on the contrary the condition worsened, which according to the orthopaedic specialist was because of some of the exercises that had been recommended. Filing a poor service complaint with the insurance company proved useless since they didn't share any specifics of the follow-up they did with Emerson other than stating that they weren't happy with their service. Very disappointing!

I had a torn meniscus and went to PT before and then for several months after surgery. Kevin is so easy to work with - pleasant, knowledgeable, hands on, happy to explain as much as you want to know, and confident about his recommendations. He sees a wide range of people from young kids to older adults, and he seems to have a good time interacting with all of them (ie, he has a great bedside manner). It is also very easy to schedule or change appointments. You simply call and get a live, helpful person who quickly finds you an appointment (shocking!). The whole experience was excellent, and I have since referred two friends to Kevin who have also become fans. This was my first experience with PT, but my friends have seen several therapists over the years and think Kevin is the best of them.
