Flaherty Physical Therapy Review Don't Work Here, RUN Director of First Impressions / Patient Accounts - Hudson, MA I just got unfairly let go due to my learning disability, I started March 30, 2026, and just got let April 23, 2026 10:20 am, by Kevin Flaherty. He is rude, stuck up, he pays his employees very low wages for the large amount of work that they have to do. They are being over worked and underpaid. I was making 19 an hour, when I should be making 24 an hour, $6 less than the national average, he is so cheap! And the girl who does billing is kind, she is only making 19 an hour and has been at the company for 3 years while who is a office manager for one year is making salary, 40k, 21-21 an hour, and the other who does insurance is making 18-19 an hour, so please tell me why that is?. I had to cover shifts for people, no bonus, nothing, no appreciation, treated like a street dog, I worked terrible hours, 11:30-7 Tuesdays and Wednesday, Mondays 8:00 am till 6:20 pm, I have a Learning Disability but that never stopped me being the best I can be, but they don't see it that way.Thursdays 9-5:40 pm, Fridays 7-3:30, so I have no life outside of work, can't even get a part time job because of those restricted hours and they want you to do after work hang out, they pay you, but thats more work longer hours after being in work since 7 am. Everyone is getting sick, so now passing that sickness onto me, I called out last Monday as I was sick, so I know Kevin is using that against me, I hurt my back and they persisted I come into work anyways, said, we really need you, I agreed, I should of stayed home, these jobs do not care about you, I went above and beyond, and missed opportunities because of this terrible place. They overbook PTs and PTA, they are always sick, calling out, moved to another state, over worked, why do they open so early 7am till 7 pm, people have lives school. Patients are always cancelling and now I understand why, PTs and PTA will have 12 patients every 40 minutes, you don't get breaks, only one 30 minute break, but work 8-10 hour shifts, are you kidding me, I hope they get sued. I will sue them and get my justice. I didn't feel I was valued and under paid. I explained to them I am worth more than 19 an hour, to see my worth, they disagree. Amazing physical therapy services, 10/10 recommend. I'm young and had extensive knee surgery and was out of work for a few months. Wish I could give negative stars. I have gone here for months . I always accommodate any change to appts they requested. Today they charged me $50(my co pay is $20) for no visit. When I called to find out why they said they called me and booked me this appt because they had a cancellation. I explained I didn't make or confirm this appt. The office manager refused to remove the fee. Don't let them book you out for weeks. I cancelled my 2 mos of appts. They lost the associated profit of 16 appts for my one time $50. I hope it was worth it Flaherty! You obviously don't have a very business minded office manager. read more

I'm a 25-year-old male with multiple disc herniations. I had two L4-L5 and L5-S1 disc herniations with pinching of the nerves. I also have L2-L3 disc bulges. I've had severe left-sided sciatica for more than a year, it prevented me from doing the things I loved and more importantly, prevented me from performing my daily tasks. The pain put me out of work for 4 months. I had surgery performed on my L4-L5 herniated disc and I could barely walk afterward. This company helped me learn to walk again. Before coming here I could maybe only do 200-1,000 steps a day for weeks. After 2 months of treatment, I can now walk or run 4 miles a day, go hiking, do heavy lifting, and perform any tasks without the crippling pain. I would full-heartedly say I'd be bed-bound or still suffering greatly if it weren't for the amazing therapists here. Because of Elena, Rebecca, Michelle, and the owner Kevin, I'm nearly back to my old self. This place will give you the guidance and strength to overcome your physical trauma. You are treated with compassion and patience and given the knowledge to get better long after therapy. The Hudson location is easy to find, and the appointments were made possible even with the busiest of personal schedules. I'm now back to work at a very physically demanding job, feeling more confident and stronger. Thank you for helping me get my life back. read more

After a long awaited total knee replacement, I was shocked at how incapacitated I was. I called Flaherty Physical Therapy after being highly reccomended by the VNA who helped me for the first 6 weeks. I actually called the 2nd week after surgery to make sure I could get in my appts starting my 7th week of rehab. (I recommend calling ahead if possible to set up appts after surgery). They were absolutely wonderful - professional, friendly, great atmosphere and loads of equipment. My PT therapist was Michelle. She gave me the exercise program I needed to not only get my mobility and strength back, but to also learn to trust my knee again and start doing the activities that I've missed for so long. Even though there were times I felt I was not making progress, Michelle gave me the tools to see that I could accomplish things that I never would have thought possible without her encouragement. She made this long journey a very positive one and always did it with a smile. Her constant additions to my therapy program and home workouts made the difference to make me know I can accomplish so many physical challenges now that I hadn't been able to even before surgery. read more

I decided to try physical therapy again for long standing chronic lower back pain. Elena was my pt at Flaherty. After a thorough exam she did some hands on massage which really helped with the pain and helped me do the exercises more successfully. The appointments last over an hour, and included the manual therapy and exercises. What I really liked about this PT was that Elena really listened to my comments and gave me targeted exercises that changed according to my and her observations. The staff are all kind and it is a large well equipped facility, but really it is the skill of Elena that I was really impressed with. My back pain has lessened and I know that if I continue with my exercises it will continue to improve. I would not hesitate to recommend Flaherty PT. read more

I had a hip replacement at the end of November and my PT person from the VNA recommended Flaherty's for my long range PT. Although I am about 5 or so minutes away, I had never heard of them. Previously I had been to two other physical therapy facilities of which I wasn't thrilled with so I was skeptical. However, I'm singing a different song now :)! I love this place - it is so organized, clean and professional. My PT person, Michelle L. is fantastic. She worked me hard and I totally appreciated it, as I had had issues with my hip for quite a few years so my strength was next to nothing. I still have a ways to go to correct bad walking habits, etc. but feel like a new person, physically and mentally. I would highly recommend Flaherty's Physical Fitness for any PT needs! read more

I had a very positive experience at Flaherty Physical Therapy. My physical therapist Elena was very professional but easy to build a trusting relationship with. This does not feel like a business but more like a place you want to go back to and work to your potential because Kevin and Elena are invested in your care and are truly therapeutic. Elena was my therapist but Kevin also made a point to get to know me. He even knew much of my program! I'm a nurse and unfortunately we injure ourselves somewhat frequently and I would not think to go anywhere else if the need arose. A very important part of my experience was that a Kevin and Elena both know "that life happens" so you may not do your exercises religiously at times and this never made me feel "guilty" as it had at previous practices. read more
