A family run business with that personal touch and care; they are truly professionals with products that have made such a difference in my life. The "try before you buy'" option gave me the comfort I needed to move forward, try the hearings aids, and if I wasn't happy return them. The support I have received throughout the years has been amazing and at no additional cost to me. Who does that these days? Hull Hearing Aid Service. That's who! Highly recommend - don't miss out on all those conversations you are straining to hear. So worth it.

Scheduling was a breeze thanks to Marie. Stepping into the comforts of a plain but tastefully decorated office with a small fridge for refreshments and a coffee maker, she was the first person I and my wife (who was accompanying me at the time) met. She is the perfect personification of efficiency and professional courtesy. I and my wife were invited right on time by Brent into his office. The reason for my visit was my three-and-a-half years old hearing aids, both of which had stopped functioning over the last few weeks. He excused himself "for a few minutes", took them into the next room, and came back soon with my pair as good as new. Brent was a good listener and so was he in providing me with all the answers to my questions and more. He tested my hearing and gave me the results of the test with the process running as smoothly as everything else at this office. Before Hull Hearing Aids, I had tried two other hearing aid centers where any similar issues I had would be approached by an offer to have my device(s) left at their office to await their diagnosis which typically would either be an estimate for a costly repair or worse a new pair with the latest technology to replace my "obsolete" devices. I recommend Hull Hearing Aid Service to anyone who needs a reliable partner in dealing with her/his hearing issues. Oktay Yagiz

Hearing Associates of Northern Virginia has been extraordinarily helpful on every visit made on…read morebehalf of my 89 year old mother. What an extraordinary practice: kind, caring & competent audiologists; knowledgable support staff & an office well stocked with fairly-priced hearing aid accessories. When my mother moved from Florida to Baltimore, I went to this practice (not far from my home) to purchase new rechargeable batteries for her hearing aids. When I told the receptionist that the batteries were supposed to last about a year, but were not working after 5 months, she immediately consulted with Dr. Gina Crovato. Dr. Crovato told me that a recently identified defect in the hearing aid battery doors contributed to the loss of power & said she could replace them if I just brought in the hearing aids, which I did. My Mom had already seen another audiologist in Baltimore, who did not seem to be aware of this problem. My mother has since seen Dr. Kelsey Trinka, who is so patient, listens carefully and was able to make some needed adjustments in the hearing aids. My mother is slowing down & Dr. Trinka made sure she was comfortable & never rushed her. When another problem came up & I thought the warranty had expired on the hearing aids, Dr. Trinka took time to check the purchase/warranty papers from the Florida audiologist where the hearing aids were purchased, and verified with the manufacturer that the repair warranty is still valid for many months. I have accompanied my mother on multiple visits to audiologists in Pennsylvania, Maryland & Florida, as she moved. After her first pair of hearing aids were purchased in Pennsylvania, the audiologist said "See you in two years", as though her job, selling the hearing aids, was done. It takes considerable training & expertise to program hearing aids & I now understand that adjustments may be needed over several months to fine-tune programming as the wearer gets acclimated. This audiology practice is clearly committed to ensuring that the most up-to-date technology is working properly to service hearing impairment in a very patient-centered manner. I highly recommend this practice, because the purchase of hearing aids is not an end in itself; everyone needs competent follow-up support to make the most of that investment over time.

After several questions about why I was there with verification after verification the person at the front desk finally went to the back to retrieve my hearing aid. It took two of them to find it. When I tried it on it didn't work. It wasn't communicating with the app on my phone. I asked for help and was told the person in the back would help with this problem. Do I took a chair in the waiting room. Someone tried to enter the office but it was locked. They knocked and I informed the person I saw earlier. She mentioned they were closed for lunch. I thought nothing of it because I was already in the waiting room and they were supposed to help me. 40minutes later I called for an update on my request for help only to be informed that they were closed for lunch and the doctor was out. I objected stating that I have been waiting for 40min for someone to help. They said it was lunch, nobody was asked to help and the doctor is out. Things got heated and I left without getting any help. On my way out the door there was a box left in the doorway which I tapped inside. The rude person at the front desk yelled "Don't kick our box. It's someone's hearing aid." To be clear ,I never kicked the box. I just tapped it inside the doorway so I could close the door behind me. If I can't fix the communication issue with the app on my own I will get help online with the manufacturer. I will never return to Family Hearing Services and I encourage everyone else to avoid this establishment.
