No big deal, I just shocked the pool and applied algecide, brushing each day and kept it from getting green. Tech shows up right on time... turns out it's the owners son. Courteous, polite, and competent. Took his time (it can get complex) and got it right. The price? I got 3 quotes, Sasser's was $1,362 out the door. The other two? North of $2500. Sasser's isn't "cheap"... they're fair. And the others wanted money upfront for a service call. Sasser's runs their business like a family business should be run: Treat a customer with respect, be fair on your price, earn repeat business. They were on time, and were cool about rescheduling because I had booked them for yesterday, forgetting I already booked a hair appointment that takes a while to get in and I have an event coming up so I couldn't reschedule the hair. So the Livewire team show up with great attitudes on time and give an estimate for a fair price, especially considering they have to install this big chandelier to a ceiling that's about 22' high!! Honestly it's scary just watching! Of course they had to remove the old one and we were in for a huge surprise there was no electric box!! The previous owners must have hillbilly rigged the old fixture and it was dangerously not up to code, they simply pulled a wire through the drywall and secured a heavy fixture with expanding butterfly bolts ( I forgot what they are called) but it's supposed to be anchored to studs and attached to an electric box. It was a lot of extra work but they didn't charge extra. They cleaned up after themselves and were really nice. They even hauled off my boxes for me that the fixtures came in. They were easy going and I felt comfortable with them in my home. I highly recommend Livewire Services they are good guys who do good work at fair prices.

I can dress warmly indoors in the winter but summer is 100 degrees in my house. It really took a toll on my health as a senior, and caused everything in my house to mildew, even the insides of drawers. My kitchen ceiling is stained from the leaking drain and the overhead light no longer works. Surfside got paid thru Alabama Power, but would not honor their warranty when the HVAC stopped working just days after installation. I am retired and have had no means to fix it. The issue is all documented with Alabama Power who financed the system.

Three weeks ago we asked them to come out to fix our generator. They could not come right away so made an appointment for the following week. On the day of the appointment they did not come, nor did they call. We had to call them. We called and they could not come out the next day so we scheduled for the next week. Being proactive, we called them on the day they were to come out, and they said once again they would not be able to come out for that appointment. When they finally came, they charged more than they said they would charge for the trouble shoot, $280. They were to get the price of the parts they needed to fix it and call us. They did not call us, we had to call them. They said that we would have to pay for the parts he thought would be needed even if it turned out they were not needed. They charge an hours worth of labor for every drive out to the house. They are undependable in their scheduling and with what they say it will cost for a troubleshoot.
