This place is consistent with the quality of work they do. Everyone is really friendly. However, the reason why they get a star taken off is because they are so inconsistent on how you can pay. Sometimes they take card, sometimes you they don't and you have to use their ATM because they switch into cash only. If you beg they will let you use your card. But come on it is 2024, no one carries cash anymore. Get a Venmo or a Zelle and let people pay that way. Their ATM charges you a bank fee depending on your bank so I just take it out of the tip. So if you are the owner, please get within the times and accept cashless payments, there are so many options for it! Or be consistent and only take cash or only take card. Your inconsistency for payments is beyond irritating. For instance, I was asked for cash so I said I have $40 in cash can I pay the rest in card? She said can you make a withdrawal from the ATM? What if I couldn't what would you have done? Be consistent to all because the girl behind me said that she never pays cash and you always take her card but she is a regular. read more

Made an appt for 2pm , waited for 53 minutes before we were actually seen. The pedicure for my 5 yo was quoted as $5 for a "color only" but was then charged $20 as they said pedicure was a "spa" treatment. The morning receptionist was pleasant and compensated the wait time and miscommunication (on both parties) by honoring the $5 kids pedicure she quoted me on the phone. That was great. However, when I paid for the services with the afternoon receptionist (shift change between the receptionist had occurred), she sharply reminded me that I was supposed to be charged $20 for the kids pedí but I was only being charged $5. I acknowledged that and let her know I will tip accordingly. After she, receptionist who identified herself as "Jeanie like genie in a bottle " , ran my credit card, she sharply educated me that the establishment was "cash only" and next time please use the atm (as she pointed to the machine in the corner of the room). I acknowledged that information but noticed a sticker on the front of the door of all the major credit card logos that were "accepted ". When I suggested to her that the sticker should be taken down, she sassily replied, "well we're not only cash only but what are we supposed to do if our WiFi shuts down and can't run your credit card?? How are we going to charge you then? That's why we're ask for cash only. It's just the rules!" I asked her how do other establishments take credit cards when their WiFi "shuts down"? She stated, "it's just the rules". I don't appreciate the sass and this has deterred me from coming back. You should stay in your bottle, Jeanie. RUDEST owners ever! I went to do my nails for my birthday and the owners daughter was HORRIBLE! She kept telling me how my feet were so bad and asked if I take care of my feet. Lady!! I am poised and proud of my nails! I came to learn that that is a scheme to get you to add extra scrubs and lotions. She complained so much that it was unbearable!! Also, it is EXPENSIVE! "Professionail" was recommended to me by a friend. I went as a walk-in on a Saturday morning and I was the first person to be seen. I went in for a gel manicure, and I was very dissatisfied with the way they came out. The lady took WAY too long to finish my manicure, and the paint job was sloppy. One of my fingernails had a huge bubble of top coat that did not get smoothed out. I didn't have time to get them fixed, so I told the receptionist that I would be back the next day. At this point I was sure I wouldn't be going back to this shop. The following day, I went back and requested to not have the same lady who did my nails the previous day. They fixed my nails with no hesitation- she went above and beyond to repaint all my nails although I was only there to complain about one. I was VERY grateful that the nail tech went to the next level to fix the mistakes of the lady I went to the previous day. She apologized to me and made sure I was fully satisfied before I left. This salon is very professional and very organized. Both days I have been here are on the weekend and the wait time is not long because their are so many people working and it seemed like majority of people make appointments. NO NO NO. JUST NO. new management sucks! I called in and made an appointment. Stephanie (the manager/owner) was supposed to do my nails. I came in and they sat me down and had a guy there soak the gel off my nails so that Stephanie could do my nails right after. They had my nails soaking in acetone for 45 minutes. During this time, customers were coming in and asking for a wait time. The receptionist told them it was going to be a little bit of time. One lady told them she'd come back another day and walked out and started getting into her car. Stephanie told the receptionist to chase after her and tell her she'd stop working on her client to work on her. The receptionist looked confused and Stephanie started yelling at her to run after her. The receptionist literally then chased this lady out to the parking lot. In the mean time I'm sitting there scraping the polish off my own nails because the acetone was getting too strong. I had enough and left. Stephanie is so unprofessional and has no idea how to run a nail salon. They make you wait for hours after promising to see you at your scheduled appointment time. This is completely unacceptable. If you'd like to come in and have them see you right away, just tell Stephanie you can't wait and are going somewhere else. She'll leave the customers she's working on to take you in. Trust me. She does it to everyone. I've given this place multiple chances but enough is enough. Horrendous customer service to say the least. Reviews speak for themselves. Save your hard earned dollars and go elsewhere. You can go to Botanic Nails in Redlands for the price they charge here. read more

Omg!! I finally found my place! I haven't had a good pedicure since February of last year! I've been looking for a good place in riverside and I drove all the way to Fullerton since I couldn't find one, but this! This is the place! I've gone to 3 other ones locally and I ended up with bloody cuticles, over trimmed nails and ingrown corners left untouched! My toe nails grow like staples (gross and painful I know but it's the truth) this place turned them into pretty toes! Removed my corners without being painful or too forceful. So I came to this place recommend by my friend who use to come here. So I needed a new set, at first she said I didn't need it when my nails were lifted and I most definitely need it. She was not nice at all taking my nails off. I just felt like never getting acrylics again. She said my nail bed is too thin to try dio power. So I did. All seem-okay till filing and again she was not gentle. Like she was sanding down wood. They made me pay before they were done, and she took 2 hours and she didn't even let them dry in time. She added her oil and said I was good to go. When they finally dried up they were all messed up I had to go back after paying 45 dlls. First salon I had to go back to get something fixed. Let me start off by saying that I am VERY PICKY when it comes to my nails. I moved to the area about a year ago, and for most of that year, I was reluctant to find a new nail place. I was driving over 40 mins to my old salon. After my first visit here, I knew that I had found my new spot. So far both Stephany and Linda have done my nails over the last two months, and Kenny has done my pedicures, every time I've left over joyed from the quality of service I've received. The salon has a wide variety of high quality trending products, and great options. If you see it on Pinterest, just bring in a pic, and they'll HAPPILY recreate it for you. I have been to many nail salons over my life, and for the most part if I wanted high end products, like OPI etc, I had to bring in my own. This salon is STOCKED with the most amazing colors and the best quality brands. I am very hard on my nails and they've held up even when I've taken longer than 2 weeks to go back for fills. I get complements at work about how great and unique my nails have looked. I bring my mom in with me, she's 82, and they are always extra friendly and nice to her (she doesn't even get her nails done and they are still welcoming and friendly to her). this really makes a big difference for me because I take my mom with me so that she can get out of the house and interact with people. They are so great to her. The salon does get busy at times, so I strongly recommend making an appointment if you plan on giving them a try. (You will be happy that you did). # of times I've visited salon: 2 # of times I've had my nails done: ZERO This place is the absolute WORST! The first time a friend made our lunch time appointment. We showed up five minutes late and they told us they canceled our appointment. The second time (today 2/8/19) I made the appointment for a friend and I. We showed up 5 minutes early for our 130pm appointment. We waited until 145 and my friend was able to get a seat and her nails started. I on the other hand kept waiting. At 2pm my friend was done and they offered me a seat. It was too late. I had to go back to work. My friend was paying and asked about not getting in at our appointment time and the front desk person said well there were walk ins waiting so we sat them. My friend tried to explain how appointments should trump a walk in and the front desk person just reiterated her stupid answer. Currently sitting here right now, getting my pedicure. I chose the "summer pedicure" one where they have all the scrubs and hot stone massage bec I want to indulge myself today. I usually just get the basic + callous massage but since its my first time here, I might as well try their other options. Anyway, I came here in a Wednesday. At 10am so no wait. There's a lot of vacant seats and there's probably 6 customers here including me. The place: it's near the dollar tree. It's in a plaza where the old stater brother was. Inside: it's lots of pink! Pink chairs! Oh so cute! Plus for me! And they have like a plastic cover on the "tub part" of the chair. Another plus as it seems like they're very sanitary here. They didn't turn On the massage chair for me but that really didn't bother me as I usually don't like the massage chairs anyway. Price: seems pretty decent. I've gone to cheaper place which even offer free cappuccino with your service but the price here is okay. Expensive if you want those add ons like hot stone massage, paraffin, etc. the price for the white tip is $4 which isn't bad as the other place I go to is usually $5. Service: the receptionist greeted me and led me to the chair. A guy then did my pedicure. Compare to where I go (which I've gotten used to), they put a towel on girls lap when they're wearing shorts which is a plus for me. In here, they didn't do that which is ok I guess. Anyway, he did the callous treatment really good. Really scrub the heck outta my feet lol. He's really good at massaging though and the orangey smelling scrub feels and smells good. Stone massage was great too. And my pedicure??? It was perfect!! White tips are shaped perfectly! I couldn't be happier! Downside? If you are in a hurry, you can't do pedi then. I made my appointment for my mom and I to come for Mother's Day and they were closed! I even called earlier this week to schedule for a later time in the day and was told I could. I would have appreciated a call or text that they were going to be closed today before having to drive all the way to the salon to find out they were closed. Lynn & Jessica are AMAZING with gel manicures & full sets! I love going to them, plus they are very personable and remember who you are, which always feels nice. I am in love! Finally! After a complete let down at Top City Nails, I have found nail heaven. The workers I this establishment are so gentle, DETAILED, and take their time with you! Walked in for a pedi and fill on my acrylics and they seated us immediately. My pedicure was done with such calm patience and the massage was an actual massage, not just a rubdown like in most places. When my nails were painted she took the time to go back with a brush and clean up every nail, even though they were already flawless. So much Attention to detail and the shape of nails! Went in as walk-in after having lunch at a nearby restaurant. There was a long line so I had to wait about half an hour. The place was quiet and charming, the chairs were like private clouds that I actually fell asleep! They also use disposable-lining foot baths, which is an absolute personal must when seeking out a spa pedicure. While waiting, I went on yelp and saw bad reviews that made me hesitate to stay, but I'm glad I did. I asked my nail technician about their issues and she told me Stephanie wasn't able to manage the store, so now they've got new owner and they're doing their best to improve customer satisfaction. I enjoy the service here, but I have to add that they need more technicians, because customers get tired of waiting long and would leave before experiencing the service. read more
