Idk why this place has so many negative reviews.. the first time I came here was for a pedicure for myself and my daughter requested a full set for her birthday. Both services were wonderful, and my pedicure felt amazing! Today I got a full set of Gel X from Lee and I couldn't be happier!!! Truly, so thrilled. I showed him a photo of what I wanted and he made it even better by adding some flaky iridescent flakes. I'm obsessed. He took his time to make sure I didn't get any heat spikes while applying the gel x, which is something that commonly happens. He was patient and diligent in his artwork, I never felt rushed or like I was asking for too much. Along with Lee being great, their front desk staff is a GEM. She is always so helpful, kind, and lowkey hilarious. She gave me tips on what I should get and all around makes the vibe of the place better. The shop is clean, I always see them cleaning and making sure tools are disinfected after use. And the fact that this place is around the corner from my house makes it even better. 10/10 would definitely recommend every time. read more

use to love coming here but the past couple times I've came I've left feeling disappointed in my pedicures. The work is okay, the price doesn't match what you're paying for, and I don't feel as welcomed either. I ask for something, they tell another coworker, and it seems to turn into a whole spa conversation, makes me feel weird. I moved around 4 month ago, I found this place to do my nails, the 4th time I came to get them done was a sunday right the next day my toe started swollen and got so red, unfortunately I had to travel for work to Miami and I thought was just a pain and maybe the lady that did my toes hurt me, started splaying Neosporin with antibiotic and 3 days the swollen and the pain was gone. Days after this I notice my nail looked dark, I l came back to the Professionail and talk with the front desk lady I told her what was happening she said I should call and tell them what was happening, they removed the gel polish and for sure my toe nail looked awful. And for sure they did not take responsibility for this incident, she just sold me I kind of natural treatment that did not work for sure i had to go to the doctor and take medicine for this. So don't go this place, I am not sure how they clean or if they sanitized their tools. So sad and disappointed, being doing my nails since 15 years ago and this never happened. read more

This is my second time here and once again I am IMPRESSED with Linda's work on my gel manicure! I've been to many shops in the area and NO ONE has gotten my nails as flat and straight as Linda. She KNOWS what she's doing and doesn't leave you with those annoying lumpy nails that look so unfortunate. Full transparency: I took 1 star off not for Linda, but because I also got a pedicure here (from someone else) and this shop doesn't seem to be AS clean as some other places (for example the tech accidentally dropped the foot scrubber she was using onto the floor...and she simply picked it up and kept scrubbing my foot. X_x.) I also wasn't sure that all the tools she was using on my nails were clean. She had a green basket with used tools that she transferred into a bin labled "soiled implements" when I sat down...but I noticed SOME tools (like nail drill tips etc) remained in the basket and weren't moved to soiled bin with the other stuff. She then used those drill tips on my nails so I'm just not sure they were cleaned between clients (or if that's even a common practice or not). I will say my pedicure wasn't rushed at all and I felt like the tech really took her time doing my nails and the massage she gave was EXCELLENT! Ultimately I will definitely continue coming..esp for Linda because she is one of the BEST nail techs I've been to in the area! All of the workers here are VERY friendly! Also note-- this salon is CASH ONLY. But they have an in-store atm that DOES NOT charge you to use. Which is just very considerate to me! read more

I got a regular gel pedicure for $30 & the sides of my nails aren't painted & the polish is already starting to lift from my nails. My mother in-law went in for a fill. The polish she had was clear with gray glitter but because they had a "slightly darker gray glitter", they did her fill, painted her nails with the slightly darker glitter polish & charged her $35.. first of all, the colors looked the same, & second, I've never heard of a fill & polish costing $35!! I got a gel pedi from one of the gentleman the first time, and had him add an acrylic toe nail and it came out so good! It lasted a long time I was so pleased. It may be a small detail, but I like that the next time I went in, one of my toe nails was s and was shorter than the nail on the other foot they didn't cut my other big toe nail down to "match". I have been coming here for years and I this place is a hidden gem! They do such an amazing job and they are so polite and helpful! I always go to Linda and she's wonderful! I usually get a dip powder manicure with her and she never disappoints! She shapes my nails really dainty each time which is really hard to do with dip! She does an amazing shape and she always takes her time to make sure I'm happy! Kenny hands down does the best pedicureS EVER! I went with my mom to get my nails done today. I needed a fill, and wanted a American manicure. I was informed that they would have to do a new full set in order to get a American manicure. So Linda ended up doing a American manicure on me, except instead of using powder and a full set, she used white and pink polish and did a fill. I showed a picture of what I wanted when I first went into the salon, and they mentioned ombré. I didn't realize it was ombré and told them I just wanted a American manicure. Anyways, my nails turned out beautiful but the price was out of control. I was charged $70.00 for a fill. I'm assuming it was extra because they did "ombré" but it was literally two coats of white polish on my tips with a sponge. I was just upset about paying 70$ considering I wasn't told I was getting ombré and they didn't even do a powder ombré, it was polish. read more

This review of one star is only for the one time I scheduled an appoint on my nail technicians day off. I called in for a full set, mani and pedi with holly and peter like usual but Tuesday's are Holly's day off now and I was in desperate need of some TLC so I took the chance and went with who was available first to do my full set. So as I was getting an amazing pedi by Peter like always I just love him! He takes his time and is so gentle and caring & does such a great job! So happy with my pedi always. Then came time for my full set and I was sent this young male, buff looking with a tattoo on his right arm at first I was like skeptical but I gave it a chance . Worst thing I ever did was let another technician do my nails! He asked me what shape and color. I asked for narrow, square and short so we agreed on coffin shape and a French tip with a manicure to clean up my cuticles. hence I work in a hospital and frequently wash my hands a lot so my hands tend to get dry. He was very rough and his nail techniques were not up to par. He cut/sliced two of my fingers while filling the sides of the acrylic nail in which was very painful, and tender to the touch! I couldn't even wash my hands with soap because it burned so bad. Not to mention all that alcohol and powder touching my open cut burned the hell out of my fingers! The shape was completely off! They were all crocked and uneven. The manicure to removed my dead skin was not even done correctly by soaking my hands in warm water. He just grabbed the machine and went over and around the nail. When he painted my nails he left streaks of white lines in the clear part of the upper part of the French tip and didn't even bother to fix it I know he seen it too and didn't even bother! And not only that!! He had put my hands in the gel UV light to dry and when drying had the audacity to refile my horrible painted nails on the side and front to fix the uneven shape and left scratches along the sides of the nail! Not only did he leave it that way but when I got home the nail polish started to lift where he filed at the nail! I'm so so so so pissed! I always pay 100$ in total with tip leaving happy! This time was not the case! If I was management I would hold him to a higher expectation then this. People come here to feel pampered and leave happy! It's not right! read more

The two big toes were not even the same length and I kept repeating to her that and she wasn't really adjusting anything. On top of that it's expensive! My favorite nail shop! It is big, lots of people work there so waiting is never long. They have lots of massage chairs and my fav (hot paraffin wax manis and pedis). It feels awesome. Hadn't been to this place in years but decided to try it out again. The nails turned out pretty cute! I usually do my own nail sets but this time I felt like going to a spa to see the difference. I got a full acrylic set with gel and a basic gel spa pedicure. It was about $82 (a bit steep in my opinion). This was my second time here since i've moved out to Grand Terrace and I can say this place is great with nails! I treated my best friend out for a pedicure. Although the wait was longer because of the July 4th weekend, the service was still excellent. They did not rush on my pedicure or manicure even though there were so many people waiting still.
