Bogali Construction handled our kitchen remodel from start to finish and did it right. Bagdan,…read moreowner of Bogali Construction, walked the house and immediately saw that taking out the wall between the entry and the kitchen would add about 72 square feet, open the layout, and get rid of that awkward table setup. He confirmed it was not load bearing, helped with the drawings, locked in the layout, and identified the plumbing and electrical reroutes before we demoed.
After demo, his crew showed up around 3 in the afternoon and had rough framing done by 7 that night. They came straight from another job and still finished it the same day. The crew was sharp, efficient, and treated the house like it mattered.
Finishes were where my wife got stuck. Backsplash, counters, too many options. Bagdan stepped in, simplified it, and she was able to make a decision so the job could keep moving.
We had a trip to Europe and told him it was not critical to finish before we left. If they could work while we were gone, fine. They came in while we were away and worked late, including until midnight the Saturday before we got home. We walked in Sunday around 11 and the kitchen was done.
During the kitchen work they found the subfloor was in bad shape. They did not wait. They replaced the subfloor and put down bamboo flooring through the whole house, not just the kitchen. I left for work and came home to rooms cleared, subfloor replaced, bamboo in, and furniture back where it belonged. Master first, then the girls room, office, hallway, living room, then the kitchen, timed to cabinet delivery. Every room hit the schedule.
The crew was easy to have in the house. My wife started swapping recipes with them, and they helped with our girls without anyone asking.
When cabinets, counters, backsplash, and flooring were signed off, they came back and knocked out the moldings in a few hours. Painted, caulked, sealed, tight cuts, done.
This was the best residential construction experience we have had. We will absolutely use Bogali Construction again, no questions asked.
