Based on the reviews received I took my Lejour "Flygraph" chronograph to Eric to see if he could address a problem on an otherwise good functioning watch. It kept good time and everything worked as it should except the seconds hand would not return to the 12 o'clock position, more like 11:58 when I finished using the chronograph. Two weeks later Eric tells me it will cost $845 to fix my problem! Now this is a watch that cost under $100 at the Ft Rucker post exchange in 1972. No thanks, I said and went to pick up the watch. Eric was not there but his father was and after some grumbling found and returned my watch which now did not run and the seconds hand was stuck at the 2 o'clock position. I told Dad that this watch ran well when I brought it in, so he took the case back off and did something as the watch was running but the second hand was "stuck" at the 2 o'clock position, not 11:58 as when I brought it in.. If I started the chronograph function, the seconds timer returned to the 2 o'clock position, not 12 o'clock. I explained all this to Dad who said I should talk to Eric. I asked Dad if he would have Eric call me. He said OK but Eric chose not to. From the many positive reviews it's obvious Eric is competent In my case, however, he ruined a watch with sentimental value that I had hoped to pass on to my grandson. Obviously, I cannot recommend them at all. But if you choose to leave a watch with them, make sure you explain and show everything about the watch. read more

This guy has good Yelp reviews so I figured I'd try him out. I have tons of old watches and clocks that I collect and some that I've repaired myself. I brought him 2 of my grandfathers old watches to restore. I'm well aware they are not high quality watches and I told him that. But they are sentimental and worth my money to fix. He looks at my grandfathers 80 year old ingersoll and laughs at me. Eric, that's bad business man. I'd happily pay $400. Not to you though. This guy Eric totally rules. I called during the day to verify his hours, made no commitment of my own to show up, and he waited for me. He fixed the known problem with one end of my watch band, diagnosed the imminent failure of the other end (and fixed that), put on a new crystal and installed a new battery in about 20 minutes as I stood there pleasantly dumbstruck. Brought three antique pocket watches to Eric for clean and lubrication. One of which I had screwed up myself after it had just been "serviced" before it was gifted to me, running very fast. Erik cleaned up after another man's work, went above and beyond for a very fair price which we agreed to, and stuck by his word when there was more to be done. He answered my phone calls throughout the whole thing, and even showed me one of my watches on the time graph when he was adjusting/regulating it. I purchased a Rolex overhaul on Ebay. I spoke with Eric before I mailed my watch to him for the service. On return of my watch the polishing of the watch and band was less that ideal. I decided with the price I paid and not wanting to mail a expensive watch again I would find someone local to polish the watch. After 2 months Jan 19 the watch would not keep time and kept stopping. I returned it to Eric who made the repair at no charge. I ask to have the watch polished but was not done. In short based on the price it was a great deal and he did repair the watch. read more

Eric is amazing! I am so grateful to him. After a jeweler used the wrong battery in my Omega, which has great sentimental value having been my late first husband's watch, it was pretty much shot and would have cost a fortune to replace the mechanism but Eric salvaged Omega parts from other watches and now I have my watch back. He charged me $150 which was a fraction of the cost of replacing the mechanism with one from Omega. I brought my Omega Seamaster Chronograph to Eric for a Bezel replacement to replace an old dinged up and faded bezel. He not only swapped out the bezel for me, but benched my watch on a regulator and let me know that it was time for a service and identified that my watch was losing tremendous amounts of time a day without me telling him. Very knowledgeable and went beyond to the bezel replacement to suggest a much needed service to the timepiece.
