Disappointing Experience - Poor Customer Service and Lack of Compassion…read more I was really looking forward to becoming part of this Pilates community, but unfortunately, my experience with the manager completely changed my perspective. I signed up for a five-class promotional package but, shortly afterward, experienced a death in my family that required me to travel out of state for the funeral. With everything going on, approximately a month passed before I was able to get back to scheduling a class. When I reached out, I was told I had zero credits remaining, which was understandably confusing. I asked to speak with the manager for clarification, hoping for a reasonable conversation. Instead, I was met with an incredibly rude, uncooperative, and dismissive attitude. She (the manager) informed me that the promotional email stated I had 21 days to use the classes. I explained that I had experienced a family emergency and had been out of state for a funeral, but she simply repeated the policy without any acknowledgment of my circumstances, compassion, or willingness to discuss a possible accommodation. I understand that businesses have policies, but how a business treats its customers when unexpected life circumstances arise speaks volumes about its values and leadership. I wasn't expecting special treatment, but I did expect basic courtesy, understanding, and a willingness to have a respectful conversation. After trying to get some clarity, I ultimately ended the conversation by explaining that I had genuinely been looking forward to being part of their community but would need to take my business elsewhere. The manager's cold response was simply, "Okay, best of luck." Unfortunately, that interaction told me everything I needed to know. A business promoting community, wellness, and a welcoming environment should demonstrate those same qualities in its customer service. Policies matter, but so do people. I will be taking my business elsewhere and would encourage management to reconsider how they communicate with customers, particularly those dealing with difficult personal circumstances. A Pilates community is more than just "working out." It is meant to be a place of connection, community, and healing. This leadership clearly did not prioritize that, and it unfortunately, reflects on the amazing employees that work there.

I see the wonderful Halloween things right away upon walking in and I was like a kid in a candy store. For me Halloween is my favorite holiday so my eyes light up like I am a kid again. Going down the aisles I could see that they were still stocking things and there would be more to come, but there was enough to keep me interested and scouring the aisles for what I wanted this shopping trip. The aisles were clean and clear, and the employees were nice whether they were in the store on the floor or at the cash register, which made the experience very pleasant. It's always so tempting with all of the ghouls and goblins and skeletons and pumpkins galore. Today I left with some cobwebs for my fireplace mantle for only $2.99 wow! What a deal!! The store was clean, easy to walk through, and the cashier was nice and friendly, which made for a pleasant checkout. Their prices are kind of a mixed bag. About half the time you find something and think, "That's a really good price," and the other half you're thinking it's a little more expensive than you expected. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because it seems like a lot of their larger decorations end up with some kind of damage. If you're buying one of the bigger items, it's worth taking a few minutes to dig through the stock and find the one in the best condition. Other than that, it's a fun place to browse, especially if you're ready to start decorating for Halloween way too early like we are.

But my husband found Greenfield Citrus Nursery and we were shocked how quaint and impressive this nursery was. I was following all of the peacocks and chickens cared for on the property. I loved how much care Debbie had for these trees and the instructions she gave us for planting our very own Cara Cara orange. She wanted to make sure this tree had the best survival. Her team loaded the tree into our truck and tied it down for us. The soil was hard and dense aka our local Arizona dirt. We were provided citrus fertilizer for the first year. Can't wait to be able to eat a fresh orange from my backyard!
