By far, the most unprofessional and avoid of customer service business. My car was stolen north of Seattle and abandoned in Auburn while I was home recovering from a broken shoulder. Protow was summoned by the police and I was notified. As I had no transportation, unaware if car would start, was drivable, or safe, I called for information. They are only open Mon-Fri, limited hours, and closed for 2 hrs during lunch, it's extremely difficult to get in touch. They refused to tell me if car would start or was drivable. They wouldn't let me pay over the phone, and refused to leave it where I could pick it up after hours... Fast forward to them (supposedly) putting my car at auction, sending me to collections, and me finding my car for sale on Craigslist by their own employee Brett for $3800!!! They make it impossible to retrieve your car so they can make money. Then the employees sell your car for their own profit. Sounds fishy. How convenient to have stolen cars dumped there. read more

I was over charged. Timeline: Jan 18th. I first called 2:36pm told truck will be there in 60 minutes, with an estimated cost of $537, coming from North Bend Office. I called again at 3:32 still no truck, told another 30 minutes, truck was just now leaving N Bend. 4pm truck arrives tows car to Lee Johnson Mazda Kirkland, 4:40 arrive at Mazda. Truck departs and arrives back at N Bend office at 5:45 when driver sends me a copy of the invoice. So round trip from N Bend to Kirkland and back only about 2 hrs, but I was charged for 3.4 hrs. I feel this is unfair and was cheated and request a refund for 1.4 hrs @ 158/hr = $221. After many emails and discussions, they refuse to offer refund. Total cost to tow my car 24 miles $635 including taxes and 5% Credit card surcharge. read more

Had my vehicle towed to firestone yesterday after it broke down in my driveway. Brandon the tow driver arrived. I have a very nice home in Lakeland Hills and am getting ready to put it up on the market. I have a curved driveway that can be tricky and advised Brandon that I should back out the vehicle before he tries to hook it up to avoid any trouble with going off the driveway into my hedged bushes. Brandon insisted that it wasn't necessary. He then proceeded to back my vehicle over my professionally hedged bushes while also simultaneously running over a thick wooden root that stuck out and made a lovely 16 inch dent and gash into the paint on my rear passenger side door. He then proceeded to say "oh yea that sucks" while non chalantly acting as though it was my problem. When I told him I was going to make a complaint he advised "it's not going to do anything". I called the dispatcher right away and advised her that I wanted to make a formal complaint. She took my information and said I would be getting a call from a supervisor. They never called me. I called them back today and the same dispatcher said "you should be getting a call today". These people are unprofessional to put it quite bluntly. My car was well taken care of and now it's got a huge gash and looks like shit. My hedged bushes I just spent $200 to have hedged are ruined and my house is supposed to be doing an open house. Save yourself the stress and go with someone else. P.S. It's been 20 days and I have yet to receive a call back. I continue calling them once a week trying to speak with a supervisor. Im very suspicious when it comes to mechanic shops it's difficult for me to trust in any of them. For one, I'm mechanically declined with a Pre K knowledge of the mechanics of vehicles, second, I got hustled and finnessed more than my fair share by sleezy Mechanic Shops, I have a small fleet and need to use them frequently and finally 3rd, I have major trust issues with things that are out of the parameter of my control. We as consumers have the right to be suspicious on who tends to our vehicles.Nobody wants to be a sucker or loose money unnecessarily! There are thousands of bamboozling mechanic shops that will suck the lint right out your pockets and give your Pants rabbit ears. I can say that my recent experience with Pro Tow was on point I will start taking the rest of my trucks here for Service from here on out. This company was dispatched by my roadside assistance policy holder to repair a failed brake assembly on my RV. The tech was on site less than 3 hours, and we paid $1346 on top of the $330 my policy paid them. Their rate is $190/hr and even if you double the time he was here to include travel time, the numbers just don't add up!! We supplied all parts for the repairs, so that's not the answer, and the tech couldn't explain it either. "Processing fees" was the best he could come up with. No itemized receipt was provided, and no reasonable explanation for the charges was given. What a racket!! read more

Called this company to get my car towed out of a parking garage. They did not have a vehicle that could do the job because of the low clearance of the garage. The lady that answered the phone (I think her name was Maxine) suggested a different tow company and even called them for me. My car was successfully towed and Maxine even called back to make sure everything was ok. That is fantastic customer service! Getting towed sucks. Generally it means your car is down, its a real problem and obviously tense and stressful. My BMW M3 needed to be taken from my garage at home into the repair shop, and I cannot be more complimentary of the tech that did the work. He was warm and personable even though it was early and cold, and most importantly, EXTREMELY careful and very technical! Getting my low profile car towed can be a challenge, and he took every step very carefully, kept checking clearances and even talking me through the process to alleviate my concerns. Getting towed sucks, but in this case, it was a VERY positive experience and he did a fantastic job! GREAT dude, I hope the tech that towed me on the morning of 1/19/16 gets a promo, raise, and is the go to guy for making sure the rest of the drivers are as good as he is. read more

Wish I could give negative stars. These guys are money hungry assholes. Long story short my car was towed for a minor accident on a side road. When I went to pick up my car, they made me sign a waiver before seeing my car. The accident was minor so not thinking anything of it i stupidly signed. When I got to my car it was scratched to shit on the top (NOT related to accident), they broke my front tire rod and literally stabbed two of my car tires to make them flat. This disabled me from driving my car off their lot and in turn makes them more money while I have to figure out how to get it off their lot. Good thing I don't live in this shitty companies area bc if I ever see one of their stupid pro tow trucks I'm going to stab their tires and break both of their tire rods. Assholes read more

I would give them a zero star if I could. I would highly recommend to not use their service at all. They charged me $400 for a 13 mile service. When I called I was told there is an hourly rate (I think it was $175 per hour) and I knew 13 miles would only take about 30 min to cover so I figured roughly an hour or so. The driver took 1 hour to get to my car and then he took a longer route to get to the freeway. At the end he said I would have to pay for his time from his office to my car and his way back to his office which would take over an hour because of it being rush hour and pay for the miles that he had traveled (yes from his office to my car, taking my car to mechanic and from mechanic to his office back). How is his commute back to the office my responsibility. He would have even asked for his dinner money from me -_- I am very frustrated from the service because a week after my car had problem again and I had to get towing again. I paid only $80 next time for 8 miles and service guy said I would have had to pay about $100 for a 13 mile service. DON'T USE PRO-TOW EVER... read more

I would never refer anyone to this company. 1st off the woman i spoke with acted like she could care less about my problem, i understand weekends are your own time but if your the dispatcher being rude isn't the best thing to do when your customer is going through a hard time. 2nd i was stuck waiting almost and hour and a half and once the driver showed up he informed me the dispatcher hadn't called him till 20 minutes prior. 3rd n final reason, i was only 2 miles away from their location but the driver wrote down it took him 93 miles and 2 hours of labor to complete the tow. On top of all this it was a 500 dollar bill for a tow that should have took 30 minutes. talked to other towing companies in the area and they all quoted me at least 100 to 160 dollars cheaper if it would have been them. I went down to their office to ask some questions about these things n received no help and was told it may have been a mistake but they wouldn't do anything about it other then to file a claim with the court system.
