Mr. Lopez of Pro Touch Fence& Decks is an expert problem solver and the go-to guy for fence work in our neighborhood for many years. Mr. Lopez and his crews have installed and maintained the cedar fences at our home, as well as many of the homes on our street and neighborhood, for years. His pricing is very reasonable and regular maintenance -- every few years or so -- is a great way to protect your investment and lower your longterm costs. I've included a few photos of the work his crew completed on the restoration of our fence last month. He also installed new fencing on the sections facing the street. His mixed approach saved us a significant amount of money with the 15-year old fence looking as new as the new fence. The photos do not fully capture the final color and the clarity of the grain. If you are considering a new fence, restoring your old fence -- or combination of the two -- it is worth your while to speak with Mr. Lopez. read more

Awesome job he's done. I highly recommend Jose (owner) based on a large modern design fencing project that he recently did for me. Jose worked patiently with me to design and build a custom steel modern fence. I've struggled to find fencing contractors who had the knowledge, ability, and interest in taking on my job. He has a very good sense of modern design and also form vs. function. The fence included a 14' rolling custom gate and full automation. His pricing was excellent and he has worked well with my budget. In fact, we've gone over my budget because I've had him extra work beyond the original quote. The initial estimate was around 13k and we've gone much higher with additional work. We have done around a 30% deposit and then payments based on completion. I'm glad to support a local small business. His crew has been considerate of the work site and have done some extra things like moving plants, etc. Given the custom nature of the fence, it has taken some time to build as he has fit me in with other jobs in the area. read more

Jose and his crew did a wonderful job in bringing an old deck back to life! We have a property in South Austin that is about 30 years old and the deck was truly atrocious... It became unsafe over the years and there was a ton of rotting boards. I let Jose know that we were on a budget and we were trying to put the house on the market early next year and we needed it to have a facelift :-) I left it in his capable hands and he even suggested adding wrought iron hand railing to make it look better and all of it fit within my budget! I would absolutely use him and his crew again, the finish out and the staining I am very pleased with. You can see the great improvement that this little project did for our house! Before and Afters don't do it justice. read more

Welding job was bad on our fence around deck. Bad welds that come loose after less than 2 months, most welds do not look clean and do not look professionally finished. Self closing gate around pool does not self-close anymore after less than 2 months. Jose does not reply to requests to fix mistakes. read more

I had my Trex decking destroyed by a tree during the recent ice storm. Jose came to my home, gave a quote and has been extremely professional. He will reconstruct the damaged part of my deck and build a privacy fence in back of it. I highly recommend his company. read more

We couldn't be happier with our new deck and Jose was such a pleasure to work with, we will definitely be using his services for future add on projects. He came out to the house the same day I called for a quote, and right away I felt comfortable and at ease talking with him about what we had in mind. I knew right then and there he was our guy. He did everything possible to give us the deck we dreamed of and helped us figure out some logistics stuff I had never even considered. After about a week and a half they came out and built our deck in one day and we were sipping tea and enjoying the sunset before we knew it. I definitely recommend Protouch Decks! Thank you, Jose!! read more

Jose and his crew built a fence, driveway gate for us as well as a metal pergola, deck, and iron planters. We never had to worry with Jose - all the work was completed with extra touches that make the work seem extra special. Prices were fair for the professional work being done. We'd highly recommend Jose and will definitely commission him again to work on our fences and deck. read more

Jose and his crew did an excellent and fast job! We were on a pretty tight budget, but Jose made it work. The previous owners of our house used Jose to do a full fence job, so we knew we wanted his gorgeous work for our project. I highly recommend Jose. read more

We had a great experience with Jose and his crew. We had a fence built around our pool with two gates. He was even kind enough to repair a few issues with an existing gate done by our home's previous owner, for no charge - without me asking. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jose and his crew. read more

A real estate flipper was redoing a house and wanted a new fence which we shared. Since redoing one portion of fence would impact many different properties, 3 of my neighbors decided to have them replace their fences after talking with Jose. All 3 of my neighbors had different problems with this company. We made the mistake of paying him before the project was done and it was a nightmare after that. Multiple calls were made before they would come back and finish the job. The fence is still not all the way done but we just gave up. read more

Jose at Pro Touch was easy to work with and replaced 3 levels of old decking in a timely manner at a very competitive price. I'm very happy that I chose Pro Touch Fence & Decks for my decking needs. read more

Pro Touch Fence & Decks - Fences & Gates Near Me

Quality work and good value. They installed fencing, an entry gate and a sliding driveway gate. All of it looks and functions great. They did not finish as quickly as promised but overall satisfied with the work and would hire Jose again. read more

At first, pro-touch was awesome. They did my neighbors yard and we loved the work so we had them come out and do our fence and gates. the work was awesome and looks great. But about one month in the gate stopped closing (maybe the ground shifted?) and now has to be slammed in. Also one of the slats just fell off and I don't have the tools to fix it myself. I called and texted with them over 21 times. They said they would come by and I stayed home from work several days but they never showed up. At this point I can't even get them to answer the phone. It is a shame that they don't back up their work. I had recommended them to friends but called them back and rescinded my recommendation. read more

The owner of this fencing contractor is incredibly lacking integrity. What a liar. I see all these five star reviews and makes me wonder if he treats people differently. Perhaps he does. I contracted him for a fence recently he left screws untight and when I asked he comes back to fix his mess every day he promises to fix but never shows up. What a liar. I'd use more professional contractors next time. A lesson learned for me. read more

Jose and his guys were amazing! He came out to quote us the same day I called and a few days later came out to start on our fence. They built a beautiful, sturdy fence and gate very quickly. We would highly recommend them for quality, customer service and efficiency! read more

Jose and his crew just finished up a project for me at my home that involved a shingled, covered patio and deck. Throughout the whole project, Jose was easy to work with, knowledgeable about materials and his labor costs. He was always open and honest with me about our budget and offered up excellent alternatives when I was getting too ambitious. First and foremost, he repeatedly told me that his only goal was for me to be happy at the end of the project and in the end, I was. When applying the finishing touches to the project, he came up with another idea for a small pergola that would help me with privacy and shade and gave me a great price. If you are in the market for fence repair or a deck, I would recommend Jose and his crew. They were all really nice guys as well and deserve praise for their workmanship. He is always looking to evolve his business and keep his customers happy. read more

We recently bought a home and needed to do a complete fencing overhaul. After speaking with a few fence companies, Jose came out and was hands down the best option. He was full of ideas and alternatives to complete the objectives we had, and left me with a beautiful horizontal board on board fence for a great price! We were even able to salvage most of the fence between us and one of the neighbors! He was easy to work with and always available to discuss the project. I will recommend him to anyone that needs fencing done! read more

Jose and his team installed 3 kinds of fences for us in Westlake: wooden, green chainlink, metal with tall puppy panels. He looked all over for a puppy panel that I was looking for...could not find it. So he had his welding guy make us one where the panels go all the way to the top instead of just halfway. It looks more elegant than I had thought initially because the yard slopes downhill. I am really happy because all the puppy panels looked ugly, this one is unique. Thanks to Jose's plan and vision. Anyone can slap a fence together but it has to be aesthetically pleasing and functional. The wooden partial wall also looks great because he suggested bigger boards instead of the standard size---sure enough, it looks better. The green chain link was harder to find but got it on time. This was to keep the deer off the whole acre. His inspected each post to make sure it was dug deep enough with enough concrete--redid 2 to make me happy. Then they also put rocks all along the bottom throughout the yard to make sure my little Maltese would not get out. He doesn't dig....yet? He also came back 2 months later to fix something small. He takes pride in his work and communicates well and does whatever it takes to satisfy you. I will use him again and recommend him for any woodwork or fence you desire. read more

Jose was prompt at answering my inquiry for a quote on my 31 year old deck that needed to be replaced. For a little more I could have Trex composite which I felt I could not afford with other companies. I signed the contract and Jose and his crew were out the next day to start on my deck. It is absolutely beautiful and I cannot thank Jose and his crew for their professionalism from start to finish on this project. read more

My new fence and xeriscaping look great! Jose and his team exceeded my highest expectations. I was surprised at how affordable a new fence was, and now I wish I'd installed one years ago. I'm confident that the value of my home has increased by more than what I paid for the work and materials. If you are "on the fence" about it, don't hesitate to get in touch with Pro Touch for an estimate. read more

Jose and his crew installed a patio cover at our home -- and it surpassed our expectations by a mile. Jose was very thoughtful in his planning of the cover, and it was easy to see that he takes great pride in his work. My wife and I couldn't be happier with the craftsmanship and are very please with the final product. Jose was also great to work with throughout the project. He was very accountable and good at providing me updates on where he was with certain phases of the project. Thanks Jose. read more
