I recently took my Mazda MX-5 Miata with Metallic Grey paint here for a bumper repair after a collision with a paint bucket (with still wet, white paint ) on 280. Getting an initial estimate was easy and I felt that Wing took the time to evaluate the damage and come up with a reasonable estimate. They were able to replace the bumper and match the paint perfectly, which is no small feat with Mazda's paint, I am super impressed and pleased with how the repair has gone. They dealt with my insurance for me and worked with them on additional estimates that were required after starting the work. I was able to pick up my car within a pretty reasonable timeframe and it looks like it's brand new! Hoping I don't need to come back for more work in the future, but returning here would be an easy decision to make if I did. read more

I cannot recommend this body shop enough! From the moment my car was dropped off at the shop, and throughout my contact with them, everyone there was incredibly kind, helpful, trustworthy and efficient. They cared about me as a person having gone through an accident and were very meticulous in explaining the damage and needed repairs. read more

Pro speed is my go-to auto shop when it comes to caring for my Scion TC (I've been coming here for 10+ years). Dot and Wing are always so helpful in everything they do, from explaining the damages, assisting with insurance, and arranging for rental cars nearby. They are knowledgeable, professional, and provide excellent service. I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs help with their vehicles. read more

I brought in my car to this shop a few times and had great experience , unfortunately my friend who brought in their car recently had a terrible experience. I guess with new technology like hybrid car , this shop may not be ready for it. Here's the long story: My friend who brought their car to this shop but it took 8 months to fix ! I was really surprised with the length of time it took and they kept giving excuses / blaming the dealer who sent wrong parts and missed some. The shop said the dealer didn't have the parts and will take a month but my friend called the dealer and they said only 2 weeks also showed the shop and the shop said they already ordered it ? Anyways even if the parts take longer, it wouldn't take 8 months ??? And they suddenly find out more parts need to be replaced after 7 months and send in another invoice to claim? Didn't they inspect the car and order the necessary parts in the first place ? When my friend got their car back they found out there are so many things the shop charged them but didn't it; like the shop charge for some new parts but was giving them the used parts ; and the headlight they claimed it but it's the same scratched up one, it was not big scratch so the shop didn't think my friend would notice it. My friend was tired with their excuses and they probably would say dealer problem again so check your car before you leave the shop. Although it was covered by my friend's auto insurance , due to the amount the shop charged , my friend insurance premium went up! Their first estimate was about $4000 but it ended up charged $18000. At the end the owner did apologize for the delay but it is not important anymore. We think that the shop don't know have the knowledge on hybrid vehicle yet and they may accidentally broke some parts due to lack of knowledge with the technology. Would not recommend if you have a hybrid car!! read more

I found Pro Speed Auto Body when searching for an experienced GoldClass repair shop in San Francisco. I compared them with some other local shops that had similar credentials by going in to see the shop, meet the team/representative, and get a quote. Pro Speed was easily accessible, clean, professional, and had a competitive quote. Additionally, they are open on Saturday which is very convenient. I spoke to Wing and he gave me an estimate on the spot for repairing some scratches on the back door/quarter panel of my car and also repairing scuff damage on my wheels. They were very timely in repair and maintained good communication with me via email and phone. When I picked up the car, everything was perfect and looked brand new. Highly recommend Pro Speed Auto Body as a trustworthy and high quality repair shop. read more

I hate to say I'm a regular here but it has been two years since my last visit to Pro Speed and this time the damage was my fault. Rushing to get the kiddies to school is not a smart move. I guess better planning and driving slower would have been the better option. My car was towed to Pro Speed and as we arrived the owner Dot Choi greeted me and said AAA has already called him and he was ready to drop me off at Hertz. Dot said he'll work with AAA and likely the car will be there about two weeks. So far the rest of my morning has been smooth. I trust the work of Pro Speed and soon my car will be good as new. :) read more

Wing is very professional. He provided images of the damage while the car was being worked on and he let me know when the car would be done. He identified the damages and the odors immediately when I pulled into the shop. I had a request of keeping my custom headlight bulbs and he saved them for me after the repairs. The car looked amazing after the fix. The entrance is welcoming. The waiting room/office was full of certificates to let you know your car is in good hands. Paperwork was super fast and simple. Will definitely come back for any repairs. read more

Dot was such a huge help to me. He helped me out with my Subaru Forester when I was desperate for assistance on a Saturday afternoon when many other places were closed. So honest, transparent, and nice! read more

Car accidents is one of the most stressful personal events in ones lifetime. Pro Speed worked and communicated with my insurance company and recommended rental car agencies nearby that were on my insurance coverage. The rental car agency brought the rental car to Pro Speeds facility which was very convenient. The quality of work was definitely 5 star. Pro Speed completed a high quality repair and delivered my car in much better condition than it was before the repairs. This business excelled in comunication , quality of work, very professional, working with the insurance company, and attention to detail. I highly recommend Pro Speed GEORGE L. read more

This place is fantastic, had a fender bender and they made my Honda CRV look better than new again! They even cleaned the interior. Dot Choi and all the staff are super easy to work with! They are very professional and honest. Currently, they open Monday through Friday during pandemic. They provide free estimate and consultant. The best thing I like is that I can simply drop off the car there, have my insurance go to Pro Speed Auto Shop for the next step. They are near the car rental shop that helps a lot when I need the car rental service. read more

Dot provides very professional and efficient service. I crashed the trim of the bottom of my car, I took it into his shop on a Saturday without realizing that the shop does not open. He did me a favor by providing estimates and advice on a Saturday anyway and even provided a temporary fix while waiting for the new parts to come. His temporary fix looks so good that at a glance, others would not notice the damage. When the new part came, he and his team helped prioritize the fix and had it done in one day because I needed the car back the same day. Despite all these requests, his pricing is very fair. I am so glad that I meet Dot and will be going back if I have any future body works for my car. read more

Alright, this is my FIRST review on Yelp. I was resistant to signing up for Yelp FOR YEARS, but now I had no choice. I HAVE to review Pro Speed! I had an EXCELLENT experience with Pro Speed. Actually, Pro Speed performed beyond my expectations! My Scion TC got rear ended - cracked bumper and huge dent. I needed the bumper replaced and I had a restrictive budget. I was going to go to a friend's shop to get this done, but Pro Speed was way below my friend's asking price. It was a risk to go to Pro Speed, but it was a risk well taken. I submitted my photos through Pro Speed's website and I was quoted for a brand new OEM bumper, with paint, and labor for a super low price within 30 minutes. Dot (the owner) ordered my bumper right away and was able to take in the bumper the next two following days. I dropped my car off in the morning and Dot was super nice to drive me to work! When it was time to pick up my car, Dot offered to pick me back up from work and drive me back to the shop. TALK ABOUT EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! When I saw my car, I was amazed. It LOOKED BRAND NEW AGAIN! I was worried that they may have had a hard time matching my car's paint since it's a blue/lavender color (waveline pearl), but they did a phenomenal job. The color matched exactly! Not only did they do an EXCELLENT job replacing my bumper, they even vacuumed inside my car, gave my car a wash, and waxed it! Again, EXCELLENT!!! I was really happy and impressed with Dot and his crew's performance. They are really top notch guys and performed way over my expectations. Dot even lowered the price (again) at the end of my checkout. WOW! Talk about EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE, AGAIN!! I STRONGLY recommend using Pro Speed for any of your auto body needs. I definitely will recommend them to everyone I know. They are a top notch auto shop. You won't be disappointed! Thank you, Dot, Victor, and the entire Pro Speed team!!!! read more

I recently had Pro Speed do a small side job for me. I was worried that since this was a small job, on the side, that either the quality would really suck, or that I would just be treated differently. Boy was I surprised! Dot and his crew did an awesome, first-rate job with super quick turn-a-around time. How quickly everything got done was what surprised me the most because I explicitly told them to take their time and just fit in my job when they could. Never once did I feel as if my simple/small job was not important and they treated me no differently than one of their higher end jobs. I would definitely come back here again for any/all of my auto body needs. read more

After a car accident, my friend recommended me to this auto shop. The best experience I had with an auto body shop. They arranged to tow my car instead of I contacted my insurance company. Rain helped me to contact enterprise to get a rental car that was just next 2 blocks. These are covered by my insurance company and the help from Pro Speed Auto Body made the whole process much easier. Basically they arranged everything for me. Very appreciate their help and I would definitely recommend this place to my friends. read more

A lot of my friends go to Dot with any car body issues so I knew I had to go to him after someone did a hit-and-run on my car while it was parked at work. Dot and Victor made the whole ordeal so easy and painless. After I made the initial call to AAA to file the claim, I did not need to speak with them again. Dot made all of the calls and took care of everything. He also gave me a really good, competitive price. I dropped off my car near closing time and Dot was more than happy to take me to Hertz to pick up my rental. My car was ready sooner than than they estimated and when I went to pick it up, they offered to return my rental for me so I could drive my car home right away. That was EXTREMELY HELPFUL and an awesome time-saver for me. Not only did they fix the big dent from the hit-and-run, Dot, Victor, and their team also fixed other booboos from past fender benders (oops). My car never looked so good! The next day, Victor called me to let me know that I had forgotten a sweater in my rental and that he'd hold it for me. Such good customer service. They could've easily driven the car back to Hertz but they took the extra step to inspect the car and make sure I was a satisfied customer. And indeed I was! I'm officially a fan of Pro Speed and highly recommend them! read more

I got into a pretty heavy duty accident a few weeks ago and I was recommended to Pro-speed by a friend. The whole front right side of the passenger seat was basically pretty much done, but Dot and Victor were very helpful with not only the repairs, but getting in touch with AAA and consulting/confirming with the repair costs, getting a car rental, and keeping me posted with the progress on the repairs. A week and half or so later, my car looks brand new. They not only offered to take my rental back to Hertz, but offered to look at my car again in a month to confirm the realignment on my right front wheels are still in place, AND Dot generously refilled my tank with gas.... otherwise I wouldn't have even made it back home. So, if you're looking for the best customer service ever, timely repair, and quotes cheaper than your average auto body shops, I definitely recommend Pro-speed auto body :) read more

My boyfriend ( now ex) crashed my car and I had to get it fixed before my parents came to town. What's up folks? Hello, Yelpers! I own two Ferraris and two Mercedes-Benz; hence, I am extremely picky with regards to the people that work on them. I found Dot, at Pro Speed Auto Body, through Yelp! I am extremely pleased with Dot and his team of workers: courteous, professional, ethical, and experts in their field of work. I recommend Pro Speed Auto Body for the following reasons: -Verbal Commitments: Dot had to work on my Mercedes-Benz's front and rear bumpers. He told me he would email and call me on particular dates and times to give me updates on his work on the car and with the insurance company. He honored those dates and keep me posted. -Accurate Estimate: When I bring my cars in for detailing or other stuff that doesn't require the involvement of insurance companies, Dot's estimates and the final costs are within the estimate. -Attention To Details: Dot is meticulous when working on my cars. When repairing my front and rear bumpers to the Mercedes-Benz, he noticed they didn't look perfect even though they looked perfect to me; so, he requested that I leave the car, so he can make the bumpers perfect. -Level of Service: They met their time estimates; they greeted me in a friendly manner; they respected my time; and, they conducted a safety check to ensure my Mercedes-Benz was set to go. -Reasonably Priced. Fortunately, my Ferrari hasn't been to Dot's place for an accident; but, if my Ferrari gets into an accident, I will bring it to Dot; because, I know he will treat it well like he did with my Mercedes-Benz. Well, that's it folks! Shazbut -- I got a parking ticket! Na-nu Na-nu. /s/ Alfonso Faustino http://www.AlfonsoFaustino.com read more

These guys are great. I had to get my front bumper and a fender fixed. I was a bit skeptical at first because their shop doesn't look quite as big (or clean) as the other one I went to, but Pro Speed gave me an estimate that was hundreds below the other shop. Admittedly, I didn't shop around much. These guys were friendly and gave me a great price. The other shop looked like a bigger, more professional operation, but they were also a LOT less personable. Basically, Pro Speed seemed like it was run by nicer people. It took a day longer than expected to get the work done (the car parts didn't arrive as quickly as hoped?), but when I picked up my car, I was very happy. They also washed the exterior and interior of the car --not a true/thorough detailing job, but still very nice nonetheless because the carpets inside my car were starting to look pretty dirty. Overall, not only did they do the job well, but they provided a great experience too. That's why I'm bothering to write a review. read more

There are so many reasons why Dot (owner of Pro Speed) is so successful. I knew him from when he has only one body shop years ago, but today he has a few shops and continue to expand. He is successful because he is trust-worthy, prompt ,attentive, and provides great quality work with affordable pricing. He has helped me with major damages from car accidents, gas leaks or minor cosmetic fixes, and has never failed me ! I don't even go shop with another body shop because I know no one else can beat his pricing and services. Thank you Dot for making it super easy for me! Dot, Good luck with your continued expansion! read more

Pro Speed is a CAN DO outfit. Wing and Dot quickly did two recent fixes on my older model Toyota 4Runner which I had trouble getting done elsewhere. First, my old tow hitch was rusted out and they helped me find and order a replacement online and then installed it after some bolting modification work. Second, my Toyota service department couldn't seem how to repair or find parts for my broken headlight assembly (needed to pass CA lamp inspection). They pulled back the grill, adjusted the bumper and glued the broken part together so that the light adjustment screws work again without the headlight wobbling. Both jobs were done with polite and customer-friendly professionalism and for a very reasonable price. Their focus was on getting the job done to customer satisfaction, addressing the issue promptly and keeping me informed. I highly recommend this company for auto body work! read more

Take it to DOT!!! my sister says... after I had gotten several estimates from my local shops in the Tri-Valley area... They all were high estimates. I have been going to Pro Speed for years and they have always done great work at a resonable price. Dot and his team have taken good care of my 95 Mercedes SL which I have brought in repeatedly for small dings and bumper work. They also did an amazing job on my wife's BMW X3 which got rear ended pretty bad. They don't give loaners (who needs them in the city?) but they do get it right and are fast. Dot the owner is a very friendly and respectful business man, everytime either because of a fender bender, bumper to bumper or broken window, Dot comes through and welcomes my car into his shop! So far i am glad to say that they keep me sane whenever my baby is in the shop (My car). Kevin who also works with Dot is a great help and is at most kindest with their customers, he took care of calling my insurance agency and Enterprise rent a car to let them know the status of the vehicle and so forth. I can distinguish care vs careless and Pro speed staff really does show care and i knew this when i called my insurance to inform them about the status and they informed me that Kevin had already taken care of business. I was also content when the insurance operator mentioned his name which also shows that he did what he said he would, way to go!! Because i am a busy person and student, i tend to always be on the run and up to date with business as usual and getting things done as soon as possible. " thanks for the chill pill". I understand that they have other cars and things to work with on a daily basis therefore i apreciate the time taken to take care of my car. Overall, Pro Speed does an exceptional job for their customers and i am so far a happy customer. I plan on returning if need be in the future and I recomend this shop to anyone who is looking for fast great and proffesional services for their vehicles P.S They also send Christmas Cards to show appreciation Lol :) read more

My mechanic recommended me to go to Pro Speed for auto body paint repair. Without second thought, I called for Dot. He was very professional and friendly. Then Wing called to follow up with the repair order, offering advice and service to make sure I'm properly hooked up with Enterprise (paid for by other party's insurance). The day I drove into their shop, I was greeted with courtesy and the warmest welcome. The best part was talking to their tech Jian. He recognized right away my 1987 car has become a rare species of its kind. I had a blast talking to him! You can tell he doesn't just do his job. He LOVES his job and takes pride in it. Right off the bat I know my car will be in good hands. Picking up the car was a breeze. They went out of their way to accommodate my work schedule. All I need to do was to drop off the rental car at their shop and they would take care of the rest. Jian did a meticulous job on the car. He even did extra like door hinges, exposed wirings, and alarmed me any safety issues the he came across. He really cares. It takes a great team and leadership to succeed. The moment I set foot in their shop, I can see harmony and laughters fill the place. Happy employees make the business prosper. Dot must be doing a great job. Go there. You won't regret it. read more
