Responsive - he communicates quickly and will let you know his availability. The work has always been high quality - everything from a toilet unclog to a leaky water heater, the repairs done actual years ago are still working fine. Reasonable - I'm a person who doesn't trust the 'super cheap', 'sale!' in home repair. It has honestly never worked out well, and usually involves us needing to have someone else come back later to fix the 'super cheap' work. Understanding this, I have found the rates to be fair and the work to be of high value. Overall, I'd recommend Narberth Plumbing for your home plumbing needs without any hesitation.

Started out promising, but talk about epic fail…read more I needed two simple repairs... leaky shower faucet, and new works for the toilet. Booked the appointment 3 weeks in advance. The day of, they called and asked if he could come 90 minutes early... I figured why not. He shows up, assess that I need a part. I know it's an old shower, and parts aren't easy to find, so I ask if we should just replace the entire thing instead (I had a spare I had bought). He said the part would be cheaper, but he'd need to go back to Cherry Hill to get it. This was about 10:15 am. At 12:30 I call up to find out if he's coming back. I'm told he's still looking for the part. I said ok, and asked thy continue to update me. At 3:15, after being kept prisoner waiting for him to come back, I call again to get an update. I'm told he can't find the part, and won't be coming back today. I ask why they didn't notify me, and all they could respond was "we're sorry". I mentioned he could have replaced the entire faucet then, and again, no response. I ask what I'm supposed to do now... do I need to take yet another day off so he can come back and do the work... I'm told I should just find another plumber. A simple phone call from him when he couldn't locate the part would have sufficed. LOUSY customer service... would never use again, nor would I recommend.

Ray has helped me with a couple of different plumbing issues…read more One was an emergency..during that super cold winter when the temp went down to zero..I had issues with pipes that I didn't even know EXISTED behind the wall of my mudroom freezing. Water was entering my basement walls..it was a mess. He came as soon as he could. Cut into the wall and fixed the pipe. Explained that there was a pipe behind the wall for a washer/dryer--the previous owner never documented this or explained it to me (it's a very strange, rear-of-the-house mudroom that was an add-on.) For the second visit, I had a sewage back up. He came and diagnosed it, and fixed it by cleaning up the sewer line under the street. Apparently, my home piping is pretty sturdy and modern, but the pipes under the street are old and thin. So I have to be careful what gets flushed down my toilet. Yet another thing the prior owner didn't inform me of, and I had to learn at a cost to paying Ray from Streamline to fix. At least he was reasonable! I will definitely hire him again. In fact, I'm planning to contact him this weekend about a new water heater.

George and his team worked with me to diagnose the problem and presented multiple options to get it working again and didn't push me at all. It wasn't until I asked if replacing the old unit would be a better plan in the long run that they even tried to sell me on it.
