I wish he wound have looked at the condenser and the refrigerant. He did test out the temperature coming into the evaporator and said it was fine. He charged me a little under $200 for his time and recommendations.

I want to give my highest recommendation for Chris Walton Sr. Plumbing out of New Egypt, NJ. For…read morethe past year and a half we've had a weird intermittent plumbing issue. During that time he or an employee have been to the house three times. Each time, between the time I called and when they showed up, things would start working properly again. So they would try to diagnose the issue based on my description and do what seemed to be appropriate, and things would be fine for a while but eventually the problem would recur. So yesterday he showed up with an expensive piece of equipment to properly diagnose the issue, and having done so, brought in another expensive piece of equipment to fix the problem. He was there for over two hours, and along the way, he mentioned what he normally charges for use of that equipment because of what it cost him. I was OK with it; I was just happy to have the problem finally fixed. But when he was done, he said that he wasn't happy about the past "misdiagnoses" and I shouldn't have to pay for them, and he ended up charging me about a third of what I was expecting. When I offered to meet him halfway, he said, "Sorry, I've already entered it into the system, nothing I can do." I can't promise that you'll get price breaks like I got on this occasion, but I can promise that you won't get ripped off, and that you'll get excellent service.

I did check my email however it was in my email. But I was not impressed. He began taking some parts off my hot water heater with a 5 inch pair of alligator pliers. then he said he has to order some parts because he couldn't get it off. I ask what the procedure is and he said maybe Monday if choice warranty company approves the diagnosis the authorization and submits a purchase order for him to get parts for my hot water heater then perhaps I'll have hot water on Monday. This is Friday at 8:30 AM. I called choice at 12 o'clock to see if he had submitted his diagnostic not yet they said I called him at 4 o'clock. He said he was submitting his diagnosis right then I called choice at 5:15. He still hadn't submitted his diagnosis at 5:15 PM on Friday 520. I called him. There was no answer. Needless to say I am not impressed.! Then I see all the reviews.! Makes me even less impressed. We shall see come Monday. What's gonna happen with my hot water heater? I hope I am so wrong, but I will keep you posted. before he started with his pliers on my hot water heater, I could at least turn on the pilot for a little bit and have some kind of hot water but now there's wires and stuff hanging out of my hot water eater so I can't even turn on the pilot for a little bit. Thanks.
