I would like to recommend the services of Pro Restoration to support recovery from Storm Damage to a Roof. In particular a shout out to Brayton Hillhouse, who was so helpful in guiding me through the challenges of my Home Insurance claim. Brayton responded promptly and because of his efforts, actions and follow-up. I am pleased to report my roof has been successfully replaced with excellent results. Although the Hail Damage occurred last summer, the claim approval was delayed because of the large number of claims. Through Brayton's help and direct actions in meeting with Claims adjusters and providing supporting claim documentation, I received full Home Insurance approval of my claim in October. Due October delay, Brayton advised, and I agreed, delaying roof replacement to the Spring would ensure the best Shingle adhesion with the warmer weather installation. Brayton worked with us to select the best color match for roofing materials and gutter system damage. Then he followed up diligently in the Spring as he worked with the Pro Restoration Production Manager to schedule the necessary work. Amazingly, the Materials showed up on a Friday for the work scheduled the following Monday... In one-day, a defect free roof was replaced. All accomplished with a clean-up effort by the crew that left little evidence that the roofing work was just completed. I automatically thought he was just another scam and said I was not interested. I answered an unknown call by mistake one day and somehow got roped into agreeing to have a roofing contractor called Pro Restoration LLC inspect my roof for replacement for storm damage . The next day, Andrew showed up, inspected the roof, and was very confident that the roof would be reimbursed by insurance. However, when that didn't happen, Andrew disappeared. Couldn't get a hold of him. There were no negotiations between my insurance and Andrew, despite prior assurances. I contacted another company for my roof and now that someone who actually knows what they're doing, my roof is indeed getting repaired and paid for by insurance. However, thanks to Pro Restoration and Andrew, a lot more complications had to be overcome, not to mention a decrease in payout by insurance because of complete thoughtlessness and sloppiness. The wrong dates for the storm were provided, as well the wrong information on the claim. This guy, and by default, the company, was downright negligent, and I'm assuming he had no clue about what he was doing. Or he didn't care and just pulled stuff out of his a**. Don't know how they have a good rating. I was harmed by this company even though they did no work for me. But, serve me right for responding to a cold call. Thankfully, someone else is fixing what Pro Restoration broke. For whatever its worth, I recommend steering clear of this company. read more

The whole process was very stress free and considering you are dealing with insurance, that is alot to say. Our Project Manager Chris Cesna, was there every step of the way. He checked on the work, explained how the insurance process worked, met with the insurance adjuster, kept us updated on the progress and any insurance issues that needed to be addressed. The workers did a great job and it was HOT the day that they did our roof. The roof, sky light, gutters, garage trim and door look great. And they took alot of time to ensure that our yard, walks, etc., were completely clean of any debris/nails. I would highly recommend Pro Restoration and Chris for any of your roofing/siding needs. This was the third contractor we contacted (the first two left us hanging) to try and get our tree damage to the house repaired from last November. Everything was going well at first until the work began. We expected a lot of noise due to the amount of work being done but when the workers were dropping heavy rolls of roofing onto the roof boards, it actually caused cracks and small breaks in some of the drywall inside the house. I also noticed that they didn't cover much of an area with tarps to catch debris being blown off the roof and, having dogs, I was concerned about the used nails. After asking them about it, one of the supervisors did go around with a magnet to pickup any stray nails. The roof itself looked nice (except for a couple of the edges of the rolled roofing that wasn't cut very evenly) but there were two major issues I found. First, there was a area where tree had punctured the roof and left about a 4" hole. When the workers were repairing the wood on the roof, they completely missed this spot. I said something to them when they were starting to lay down the new roofing but I don't think they understood me. Needless to say the wood never got replaced. I called the company and they did come out to repair it, but that didn't go well. First off they cut a 2 foot square into the brand new roofing material. They replaced the wood and left it open with no covering. There was a chance of rain that night so I had to go up on the roof and cover it and I sent pictures to the company wondering what they were thinking. The worker came out again and put a patch over the exposed roof boards. It didn't look that bad until we had a heavy rain storm and it leaked. I contacted the company again and they came out and sealed it with the promise to replace the entire piece of roofing. A month went by and nothing. I called them twice and the receptionist said she would look into it but nothing. All emails went unanswered. I finally emailed them through their website and got a call from the owner. They finally came out and replaced the piece correctly and it hasn't leaked. The issues didn't end there though. When they repaired the soffit and facia (both wood), we agreed that we would paint them ourselves to save money. As I was going around painting I noticed one of the boards they replaced was split on the end and the soffit board underneath was loose. I pulled it off and found they had tried to anchor the board into a rotten piece of wood. Now they had asked me about replacing another rotten piece they had found during the repairs but this one was never mentioned. Now I understand this wasn't caused by the tree but why ask me about one piece but not this one and what's worse, why try to drive nails into it that would never hold. I also noticed when I did get over to where they repaired the soffit from the tree damage, there were gaps left between the boards from missing trim and an end piece on the facia that had a saw cut right through it and it wasn't cut to blend in with the rest of the original facia board (woodworking isn't this company's strong area). I had asked them about fixing these repairs but they still haven't been done yet and I'll probably end up doing it myself as I am tired of waiting on them and winter is coming. The last thing that happened concerned the budget. I told the original employee that I signed the contract with that we had enough funds to cover the amount we agreed upon and that's it. Then before the work was completed, I get an invoice in the mail for an amount over what we agreed upon with no other notice given. After several calls, we agreed to pay for only the work that had been done to that point and dropped the repairs that hadn't been done yet like replacement gutters and the drywall in the house damaged by the tree so we would come within budget. I don't know how this company got its good reviews or A+ rating with the BBB but I will never recommend them to anyone after all the hassle we went through. read more
