After four estimates we chose Eldridge. We redid the entire exterior including roof with a tear up and replacement, siding, soffit, fascia, gutters, gutter guards, and skylight installation. After an interior updating in 2017 we were due for an exterior makeover on our home that's 26 years old. Further, when the old siding was removed we found one third of the house didn't have foam insulation and a vapor barrier in back of the siding. Half the siding crew stopped, got the needed materials, and did the job right. Wow! The icing on the cake? On November 10 we had a bad storm come through and we were concerned about hail/storm damage. I contacted Eldridge right away and Chris, our contact person at Eldridge, came out right away and went over the entire house and the house was fine with just a couple of minor dents in the gutters on the west side of the house. My experience with eldridge started good then went south. I had communication issues with the rep that was handling my job as well as some issues with the workman ship. There was a major delay with the gutter install and again poor communication with the rep. Once the owner Arvel cought wind of what happend. He did right and he him self was on my roof fixing the issues. He very well could have sent a crew over but Arvel Eldridge was tearing off a small portion of the roof and laying new shingles to make sure the job was done right. I guess not every job can go perfect everytime and mine unfortunately it was mine that didnt, but it was resolved. read more

My experience also started out pretty good but has not ended well. It hasnt ended at all actually. contacted them the day after major hail storm this spring. Agreed on what would be done and then waited. and waited. Now after 7 months it's still not finished and I'm honestly wondering if it's just my house or if many others had issues with them after this storm. We were initally statisfied with the sales rep that came out but after many different issues with his promises, including missed install dates, no shows by him, trying to make us believe we'd agreed to things we hadn't, putting on the incorrect much cheaper (plastic) gutter guards than agreed upon with contract, we now feel significantly different about the entire experience with Eldrige. I had such high hopes when I called this company based on the reviews I had read. I honestly didnt want to be disappointed with this situation and rarely feel the need to give anything but positive reviews for companies, but at this point I'm just not sure how else to feel about it. I then received an invoice for the balance due with a note that the insurance company had been informed the job was complete before they even installed any gutter guards. I have wondered if the rep has just told so many different people so many different things after that major storm that he simply cant keep track of what he agrees to or tells people. After 7 months I finally felt that I had hit the end of my patience after the second set of gutter guards were put on (and still not the ones agreed upon) and I saw how they were installed. Rather than the gutter company that they had stated would intall the guards, I was told after I asked the rep that Eldridge installed them instead. And I would be fine with that if they had been intalled correctly. I was shocked at the workmanship and assumed that the company would not want this to be an example of their work. The guards are not even attached to the house. Rep was suposed to come look at them. We agreed on a day, and he was a no show again. He then dropped off pamplet on the guards he used, and again didnt look at the guards. That was 2 weeks ago and I've heard nothing from him. I finally gave up and contact the company rather than the rep. Left a message stating I needed to speak with someone such as the owner, someone other than the rep we had so could get this finally taken care of. Didnt hear back. Left a second message. That was a week ago and I've yet to hear from the company. read more

I bought a house 2 years ago. I asked the owners about the roof. They said it was guaranteed for 10 years, Eldridge Roofing did the work. It looked very nice. Last week after the rain, my ceiling in the living room was leaking really bad. I called Eldridge Roofing, left a message, Matt called me back, said it was still under warranty, and would be out Saturday to take a look at it. The next day my living room ceiling fell, the day after that it rained like crazy. I had garbage cans and mop buckets everywhere, trying to keep my hardwoods from buckling. Saturday finally came around, I called left messages. I called Sunday, left a message, rained again. I have to call someone else. I think they came out looked at the roof, didn't see any shingles missing. Now don't want to fix it. Today is Monday. Now my hardwoods are damaged in the living room.
